[7.0] "Thought this was a good episode with one notable exception. Liv Morgan's injury is so harmful to WWE right now. All of the other matches were really good. The Becky/Bayley and Lyra storyline was by far the best Evolution storyline and the in ring promo segment here was proof of that."
[8.0] "Despite an atmosphere somewhat dampened by Liv Morgan's unfortunate injury - which clearly put a damper on several ongoing storylines - this RAW still managed to maintain a good overall level. Asuka's return with her old theme really electrified the crowd, and the women's Fatal 4-Way was one of the best matches of its type since the tournament began. AJ Styles vs JD McDonagh was a pleasant surprise, far more physical than we could have imagined. The Bayley/Becky segment provided some nice narrative tension, well played on both sides. IYO SKY FINALLY left the catering to deliver a convincing opening segment. The main event held up well despite the chaos, and the final face-off between Cody and Seth hinted at something big. On the other hand, I remain skeptical about Goldberg vs Gunther... it's a 100% nostalgia pop move, not sure it's worth a world belt. An imperfect RAW, to be sure, but a solid one overall, with some real peaks of intensity."
[7.0] "The opening segment started with an annoying promo by Liv Morgan and Dominik Mysterio which led to IYO SKY coming out to the ring and giving a solid promo which was the only good thing about the segment. Bayley/Becky Lynch segment was interesting with Bayley starting off talking about the attack from Lynch that took her out of WrestleMania 41, with Lynch coming out and giving off classic heel vibes with a match challenge thrown out and accepted by Lynch which should be a good match. Goldberg returning was a surprise and challenging Gunther for a match for the World Heavyweight Championship at Saturday Night's Main Event was cool to watch. Asuka vs Ivy Nile vs Raquel Rodriguez vs Stephanie Vaquer: The best women's four way QOTR first round matches, the action was really enjoyable throughout, Rhea Ripley costing Rodriguez the win just like she did to Ripley last week was quite good to watch, great to see Asuka back in the ring after over a year, all four women involved had a good showing [****]. AJ Styles vs JD McDonagh: Solid match that was surprisingly enjoyable to watch, Styles showed that he is still has the agility in 2025 which is good to see, McDonagh actually had a solid showing and Styles getting the inevitable win which was good to see [***]. Kairi Sane vs Liv Morgan: Not a really a match due to the injury sustained to Liv [*]. Jey Uso vs Bronson Reed vs Rusev vs Sheamus: A really fun hoss fight four way match within KOTR, Uso winning was kind of not surprising given he only lost the World Heavyweight Title last week, everyone in the match did what they needed to do and actually had a quality match and showcased some cool moments [****1/4]"
[7.0] "I thought this was a great raw up until the very very very unfortunate injury to Liv Morgan. The opening segment led to IYO SKY finally getting out of backstage land and she cuts a very solid promo on Liv. The opening 4 way was very good, as was AJ vs JD. Don't care for the Goldberg stuff but the crowd was hot for it which is nice. The main event was hard to focus on (due to previously mentioned injury) but was pretty good from what I did see. Cody got a mega pop at the end of the show. Good stuff."
[8.0] "I thought this was a pretty good episode of RAW and don't really understand the low rating. The opening segment was good and IYO was finally being put into a feud for the title but unfortunately that came crashing during the episode which was nobody's fault. The opening match was good and very unpredictable because i really thought Stephanie had a won but Asuka picked up the win and she looked good. Goldberg & Gunther's segment was ok and Styles Vs JD was a fun match. I really enjoyed the Bayley & Becky segment and the backstage segment they did with Bayley & Becky. The women's IC is very important right now which is great to see. The main event was a good match and the ending to the episode was also very good with Cody & Rollins face to face teasing stuff for later this year. Overall a pretty good episode."
[8.0] "Another very good episode of Raw this week, I thought. A hugely unfortunate freak injury to Liv Morgan aside, which was nobody's fault and couldn't be helped, I pretty much enjoyed the whole thing. A particular highlight for me was the triumphant return of Asuka, looking as good or maybe better than before and putting on a great match with three other women, which she rightly won. Elsewhere we had two very fun matches and the beginning of the Gunther-Goldberg programme, which the wrestling purists of the IWC may be unhappy with but the enormous pop he got from the Green Bay crowd tells you why WWE is doing it. Since it will only take up a few weeks, the match itself almost certainly won't be very long and it'll give him a proper send-off in his hometown, I have no issue with it. Overall I had no complaints, except the injury to Liv Morgan but it was on such a nothing spot that it sadly couldn't have been prevented (and was neither her nor Kairi's fault)."
[9.0] "1) Liv Morgan opening Raw reminded me how good she is at being a sexy bitch. Maybe the best I've ever seen. 2) I rarely watch women's matches, but when I do, I make sure they are as good as that 4-way and include the return of Asuka after a year-plus break. 3) When Gunther was cutting his promo and teasing the appearance of Goldberg, I thought to myself: "If Goldberg really comes out tonight, this Raw will be generational". Goldberg's music hit 5 seconds later, and the prediction turned out to be true. 4) I felt so bad for Kairi Sane. It was a second female injury in a row that happened after direct contact with her. Though I don't think it was her fault here at all. Now women in the back might get superstitious about having a match with her, which might negatively affect her career. Overall, this episode was packed with nothing but a great segment after a great segment, spiced up with a bunch of tremendous matches."
[5.0] "This raw was a bit of a flop, hard to come off of the week they had last week on raw and try and hit us with something as entertaining you can't hit a grand slam every week and injuries are out of your control so that's understandable. But overall this show was overbooked and under delivered. Gunther facing Goldberg is certainly something... He will get a good reaction in Atlanta for sure let's just hope they can keep making Gunther actually look good. A lot of these matches were predictable and felt like everyone was kind of going through the motions."
[6.0] "Outside of the overbooked but genuinely entertaining main event, this episode was dead on arrival. The Fatal 4-Way delivered with high energy and solid storytelling, but the rest of the show felt like filler. Liv's match got cut short due to injury, the women's tournament had zero heat, and Goldberg showing up for a title shot out of nowhere felt lazy and forced. RAW relied too much on star power and surprise, but forgot to build anything meaningful in between. One good match doesn't save a hollow 3-hour show."
[8.0] "This was a very good episode of Monday Night RAW. The first forty minutes of RAW were around the women, which I liked more of that, and I'm glad Iyo Sky isn't in a backstage segment and opened the show. The Queen of the Ring First Round Fatal-Four Way was fun. I loved the in-ring action. Every person in that match knew their role, and we saw Asuka win, and now she is facing Alexa Bliss this Friday in the Semi-Finals of the Queen of the Ring Tournament. The new WWE World Heavyweight Champion, Gunther, came out and taunted the fans until Goldberg made his return to WWE. Gunther and Goldberg had a brief, heated encounter at WWE Bad Blood last year in Atlanta, where Goldberg was restrained by security, but at WWE Saturday Night Main Event in Atlanta, Georgia, we'll see Gunther facing Goldberg as the WWE World Heavyweight Championship will be on the line. AJ Styles and JD McDonagh had a solid singles match where we saw AJ Styles win for the 2nd time in the month of June. Now, AJ Styles at Night of Champions will face Dominik Mysterio for the WWE Intercontinental Championship. Bayley and Becky Lynch had a very solid in-ring promo segment. Both women next week will fight as Becky Lynch's WWE Intercontinental Championship will indeed be on the line. Liv Morgan suffered injury against Kairi Sane on a dragon screw and I hope she gets better no one fault accidents happens and wishing Liv Morgan a speedy recovery. The ending of RAW was memorable as we saw numerous superstars from both brands be involved, including Penta, LA Knight, Bronson Reed, Bron Breakker, Cody Rhodes & Seth Rollins. The match in the main event was electric; all men in the match did their thing. The only downside is that Bronson Reed got pinned on but he did get attacked by LA Knight. The aftermath of the match, the face off again with Cody Rhodes and Seth Rollins, which I got pumped about, as that rivalry might be reopening shortly."
[6.0] "The show is decent, the matches help a lot to appreciate it. On the other hand, the opening segment is horrible, useless. Liv, please stop talking for everyone's sake. Goldberg for the world title in 2025? ! Go screw yourselves, what the hell is this crap, seriously? Yes, it's (I hope) the last match of his life. We're going to witness the worst world title match of the year. The Four Way matches could have been better if they hadn't had so many interventions; this booking is just ridiculous."
[7.0] "This was a really fun episode. Good matches, decent promos and chat segments. The only negative was Liv's injury which doesn't look great. Real shame. Good show."
[8.0] "[7.5/10] A very good RAW. The IYO/Morgan segment, even though Liv Morgan says some true things like that IYO is talking rubbish and Liv has built herself up, isn't incredible. At least at this point they weren't trying to throw IYO back in a cool direction as both had good matches. The first match was excellent. Asuka's return is nice with her NXT theme. Vaquer and Asuka had a really nice duel and Ivy Nile showed she's underrated. I was pleasantly surprised that Asuka won. Well, there had to be a day when WWE were going to throw the Gunther/Goldberg feud at us. At least it's on SNME which just goes to show how pointless this show is. I hope Gunther wins. The second match was okay but nothing more. Finally we'll have Styles/Dom for the IC title at NOC. The Bayley and Lynch promo is very good. Bayley reminding us that she's not looking for glory but just to entertain the fans against a Becky who now cares about herself while reminding Bayley that everyone popped for Becky at WM shows that the momentum around the women's IC title is very good. Glad the match isn't at NOC, or SNME, or Evolution. Looking forward to the match for the story. Besides, the Lyra/Bayley segment shows it's well thought out. Bayley wasn't that friendly with Lyra, why is Lyra complaining that Bayley didn't respond to her messages? Could be justification for the triple threat. I was waiting for the Sane/Liv, what a disappointment. Liv's injury hurts, especially as there were some good things in it for her. Get well soon Liv, unfair. The Zayn/Kross backstage segment was nice. Finally we're going to give Karrion Kross a match at RAW. Feel so good. The ME is excellent too. A very European fight with Sheamus and Rusev who were great, as was Reed. Jey Uso was decent again. Crazy ending. Zayn, Knight and Penta getting their revenge on Rollins' clan. Uso winning isn't a bad choice. The Rollins/Rhodes teaser is cool. The road to Night of Champions is well-consruited."
"I'm going sideways to address something that made last night's episode worth watching. RAW felt significantly sharper thanks to the return of the long-standing commentary duo of Michael Cole and Corey Graves. With Pat McAfee off the broadcast team (thankfully), Cole and Graves brought the kind of insightful, back-and-forth chemistry that elevated the commentary, highlighting in-ring storytelling and ring psychology with clarity and energy. It was so refreshing to hear commentary that actually felt like it was paying attention, calling out key moments, explaining talent strategy, and enhancing audience engagement unlike McAfee, whose lack of preparation has drawn frustration from a lot of us. The man doesn't do his homework plain and simple. The WWE is not his main concentration, and it never will be. Simply put, RAW just clicked last night in a way it hasn't for months, and it's hard to imagine truly enjoying Monday's show this much if McAfee had been at the desk. It was a great episode of RAW overall. I thought each match had its moments. Jey winning was expected, but boring since any one of the other three deserved the win more. I hope Liv recovers quickly, that was unfortunate leading up to next week. Ivy Nile is getting better and better, she needs a push eventually. Asuka coming back was epic, and it was great to see her and Vaquer square up. That said the commercial breaks are getting ridiculous, and will only get worse. Stop with the crappy drone shots, give us all of the talent's entrances, and stop skipping promos. We missed two last night!"
[7.0] "This was a good episode that could've been great if it weren't for the very unfortunate injury that completely halted the show's momentum halfway through"
"Essentially a three match card for a Raw. There's so little to be interested in here, the King/Queen of the Ring "tournament" has had so many interference finishes it seems like a joke. And we have Goldberg...again. Yay."
[9.0] "One of the best episodes of raw this year in terms of in ring competition. Shame about live morgan but everything else absolutely slapped, especially the fatal 4 ways"
"This show was an ok show. The main event was good but not much newsworthy happened outside of Gunther's segment and the main event. The Gunther and his opponent stuff feels very unnecessary and not something that needs to have the title involved at all... I want to care about King/Queen of the Ring but almost every match ended thanks to some sort of interference, this makes the 4-way feel more like a crutch than entertainment . I really hate seeing that Liv got injured again and hope she had a speedy recovery. ASUKA'S THEME!"
"I thought this was a solid raw. I hate it that Liv Morgan had that unfortunate injury. This took me out of it a little bit. I did think every match was solid and I thought jey was the correct winner in the main event. The Cody and Seth staredown was great at the end and the crowd was hot for it. It was also great to see Ivo sky in a segment. The Goldberg stuff is whatever but the crowd is always gonna pop for him so that's fine. It was a solid raw hindered by the liv injury which I am wishing a speedy recovery to. Fine show. (7.0)"
[7.0] "The June 16th, 2025 edition of Monday Night RAW was another consistent yet decent episode of the longest weekly episodic television show in wrestling history. For the most part we had a pretty consistent show with a few highlights spliced in here and there for the better or for the worst. We had Asuka returning for the first time in a year with her old theme song and getting the W! We also had Goldberg making his return, Bayley and Becky having a great promo battle against one another. A good main event and a good ending to close the show. Only big downer here was Liv Morgan getting injured and dislocating her shoulder. Wishing her a speed recovery! [***1/2]"
