[5.0] "The first Riot City event this year I was able to attend in person (aside from the Salisbury Fringe), I felt as if the wrestling was good and the main event was a cool concept, but again, there is so much more to be desired. Now I can feel things are building, but at a very slow burn. I wish The Old Guard/Kings Of Ruin had ten more minutes, they really needed more time to shine."

[4.0] "This is the first of a couple of shows at the fringe, and traditionally this one especially feels unimportant to the rest. This year though this felt even more so. So much felt like filler, and the heavily-built main didn't exactly deliver either. [1st match] Decent TV-type match, finish definitely could be better, but it somewhat protects Sigma I guess? speaking of Sigma, I definitely think he needs repackaging, as this gimmick really isn't doing anything for him and his stock has really fallen since failing to capture the Emerald Crown. [2nd match] Filler or more filler depending on how you see it. [3rd match] Basically a comedy squash. Gouda was fed to the newly repackaged Einar in a largely pointless match. [4th match] This was a weird gimmick match based around the sports-based gimmicks that the competitors have. James Kray was initially taken out of the match with a red card, something that British promotions especially use. But he came back later anyway. After that it was a short sprint. Ok match, but the gimmicky stip really added nothing and the match probably would have been better without it. [5th match] A match that felt very cut short by Cadie Tre's interference leading to the finish. If this match didn't have such high stakes attached to it, I'd say this was also filler. [Main] I loved the swerve at the start, definitely Mr. Cliff found a better role for The Old Guard here storyline-wise by taking a backseat. The match itself though was nothing amazing until it brokedown into the finisher-fest & tag move-fest. Not really warranted of the build if this is the end of the feud. Totally a 1 match show unfortunately, and even that wasn't exactly show stealing."
