If you don't know - the matches are 10 min time limit, before no rope breaks are in play, and a 5 count outside the ring. You get some short, fun sprints - but it allows for the tournament to play out in one night. Which, as a viewer, keeps you enthralled. I think there were a few too many shenanigans here, for my taste, and whilst the big characters are great to get behind, I'd imagine a new viewer might get confused. I love Tom Campbell, but he talked over Dave Bradshaw and maybe hadn't heard enough of what Dave previously said. BUT IN SAYING THAT - all the matches on show were top tier, I loved the 2 tag matches, and it felt like Kemper became a true beast in this tournament. I love NORTH, and I'm looking forward to seeing what the rest of 2025 holds for them. |
