[7.0] "When it was good, it was good. Athena and Catalina for the ROH Women's World Championship, Bandido, the MEAT match between Wolf Zaddies and the G.O.A. (which could have gone longer, ) and of course the main event. The rest was a fairly average series of enhancement matches and squashes. Some okay story progressions there I guess. In a backstage segment with Athena, Dianmanté refers to herself as "Minion #1 now." Intrigued to see where that goes. Balances to an okay show overall."
[4.0] "A few solid matches in the opener, Gates of Agony tag, and main event. The Bandido tag was also decent although the Infantry taking another loss for Shane Taylor Promotions is unfortunate. MXM attacked Guevara and Dustin after their most recent match (why are some matches non-title while others are proving ground? ) The Von Erichs were on a show a couple weeks ago yet haven't been with Dustin despite holding the trios titles together without a defense since August of 2024. The Learning Tree attacked Bandido and Gravity after their win so I guess that is a feud. Athena's reign continues on with no real end in sight and at this point, hopefully it is not to Billie Starkz. Very little on the show feels like it matters much as it serves as a place for people who lose on AEW TV to earn back wins. So much of the show feels like it is running in place without any real forward progression and that doesn't make it the most interesting to watch while the matches on their own are usually not good enough on their own to stand out beyond fine-solid. The ROH purchase was now over three years ago and it still feels like the show hasn't found its way since then under Tony Khan's ownership."
[10.0] "This episode was a great smorgasbord of exactly what I want ROH on HonorClub to be. We opened with Athena's best ROH TV match this year so far, facing CMLL's La Catalina. She came in motivated, and so did Athena, leading to a fast paced and hard hitting bout. Great moments from both of them, with La Catalina either enduring or reversing most of Athena's finishing maneuvers, before taking the loss to the O-Face. Post match, Athena offered a genuine show of respect with a handshake, and then blasted Catalina in the face with a forearm for good measure. Next up, we heard from the ever insane MxM Collection, who still have one of the Sons Of Texas' ROH World Tag Team Championship belts, and aim to steal the other tonight. Sons Of Texas were up next, having a good, quick match with Jon Cruz and a young talent named Olumide who was good! After winning, MxM jumped Sammy and Dustin, but bit off more than they could chew, eventually getting taken down, and ending with Sammy finally getting his belt back. Next up, The Beast Mortos faced Sonico, in a good, fast-paced, and brutal bout. Mortos won with his cool piledriver (don't know the name, Chuck Taylor used it under the name Awful Waffle). Next, Thunder Rosa made a rare ROH appearance, giving Brittnie Brooks a great showcase match, before winning with her Tijuana Bomb. Next up, with my personal favorite match of the night, we got the brothers, Bandido & Gravity, teaming up to take on The Infantry. Great tag match, Gravity looked the best he has since his return. The finish, with Bandido faking out his 21 Plex to dive to the outside, then Gravity hitting it instead to win the match, was awesome! Before this, we had gotten a really good, angry Chris Jericho promo directed at Big Bill and Bryan Keith, stating that they needed to prove themselves to be as good as he thought they could be. Right after Bandido & Gravity's win, they got jumped by Bill and Keith, making clear the issues with Bandido aren't resolved. After this, Gates of Agony and TMDK's Bad Dude Tito & Che Cabrera had a great heavyweight bout, with GoA winning. Finally, in the main event, we got some awesome CMLL action, with Blue Panther and his two sons, Blue Panther Jr and Dark Panther, beating Euforia, Gran Guerrero, and Valiente. Awesome show, and, if they can keep up the quality, I'll keep on being excited for ROH!"
[4.0] "a whole lot of matches, but barely any of them mattered. More than half were very short matches to get one side over, without giving anything to the other. I rather have 3/4 matches less if that means each match gets time to have each participant show what they are capable of. But RoH has turned in a (mostly) B- Show that very rarely has anything interesting to offer. It's sad considering what RoH used to mean"
