[8.0] "It was a really good enough event. The matches for both IWGP Junior Heavyweight titles was the best of the day and both was very good with Wato finally capture a title."

[5.0] "What a dull show. From a bad crowd to wrestling that was either just there or decent but nothing more. Very disappointing. 5/10"

[6.0] "A very mediocre undercard followed by a semi-main that probably should have been better than it was and a main event that was pretty great. [MOTN: El Desperado vs. Templario]"

[7.0] "Good show here from NJPW leading up to Dontaku. I enjoyed the Jr Heavyweight title match best tonight. Kosei Fujita was once again my favourite part of his match. Hope with him moving away from the Jr tag titles he can have a good run in BOSJ"

[6.0] "Fine wrestling show, the multimen matches were tedious even though they were better than usual but after those the two main-events killed it with great in-ring work. Overall it was a satisfying 2 hours of wrestling after all, no big complains. ***1/4"

[7.0] "It was a good show. 3 super good championship matches with a very surprising title change, which really surprised me. The main event was once again very good with Despe vs. Templario, a nice confrontation. Very much looking forward to seeing what Templario does next in UE."

[6.0] "Hiroshi Tanahashi vs Masatora Yasuda: A fine opening match featuring a young lion facing Tanahashi on his final road before retirement, Tanahashi sold the little offense of Yasuda which was commendable, Tanahashi winning was never in doubt [**]. Hartley Jackson, Ryohei Oiwa & Zack Sabre Jr vs Boltin Oleg, Katsuya Murashima & Toru Yano: An uneventful match except for the exchanges between Oleg and Jackson which were okay, a usual standard undercard match [**1/4]. Shota Umino, Taichi, TAKA Michinoku, Tomohiro Ishii & Yuya Uemura vs BUSHI, Hiromu Takahashi, Shingo Takagi, Tetsuya Naito & Yota Tsuji: A fine undercard match that was a preview of two upcoming singles match at Wrestling Dontaku which being Takagi vs Umino and Uemura vs Tsuji which both should be good matches and I am looking forward to both of them happening [**1/2]. Clark Connors, David Finlay, Drilla Moloney, Gabe Kidd & Taiji Ishimori vs EVIL, Ren Narita, SANADA, SHO & Yoshinobu Kanemaru: Brawl before the bell rang which was not surprising to see, then the match was only short and ended with a no contest ruling due to the weapons being used, the match was pointless but a preview of what is to come in the Dog Pound Cage match [*]. Callum Newman, Francesco Akira & Jakob Austin Young vs Hirooki Goto, Ryusuke Taguchi & YOSHI-HASHI: A solid preview for Newman vs Goto, Newman picking up the win by pinning Taguchi made sense, JAY had a solid showing, good match to finish the undercard matches for the event [***]. El Phantasmo vs Great O-Khan: ELP winning the title was the right decision, both the match could have been booked better though as it did feel like it was lacking something, the repeated superkicks towards the end was not needed I don't think, pinning GOK after hitting a springboard crossbody and then a Thunder Kiss 86 [***]. Master Wato & YOH vs Kosei Fujita & Robbie Eagles: An outstanding jr tag team title match that was awesome from start to finish, with a surprise title change, both teams showcased some good tag wrestling and jr talent, what a match to end the title reign of Eagles and Fujita [****1/4]. El Desperado vs Templario: A solid main event match but needed to reach the next gear as it was lacking something, not a bad showing from Templario, Despy retains which was good to see [***1/2]"

[7.0] "Very solid show. A bit of a slow and uneventfull first half, but the longer the show went the better it got with all Title Matches being amazing"
