[7.0] "Another great two hours of AEW tv with a hot crowd ahead of DON with this contrasting massively with last nights Dynamite with its heavy focus on the in ring action which was great to see. The show started off hot with a great contract signing segment between FTR and DG and Nigel with the crowd booing FTR loud and Nigel ready to kill FTR bald on Sunday this being the only real segment on the show. Then we had the matches which were all enjoyable to watch especially the Fletcher v Lethal, Paragon vs GVY, the tag team main event which also built Okada Speedball to close the show and my MOTN the CMLL showcase match which was very good to watch. Also the beef on the desk between Adam Cole and Don Callis all night has given us what should be a trios banger on Sunday between Paragon and the DCF. All round a good show the one segment was great and it was just nice to watch some good wrestling on a Saturday night. Also only just watched Alexander vs AR fox as i was on the phone whilst it was on live what a superb sprint of a match both men looked excellent mainly Fox who once again showed out."

[5.0] "If you're watching this to catch up with AEW for Double or Nothing, just skip this one. There's a bunch of matches. Some are okay. There's no real consequential build for the PPV because Dynamite is the real go-home show, and that leaves pre-PPV Collision feeling like a throwaway."

"1) No, not again. Why is the TNT champion part of the commentary team again? I know you had Daddy Magic backstage, why not utilize him in this role? I agree, him being at ringside during the Jey Lethal vs. Kyle Fletcher match was necessary to set up that pointless Trios match on DoN against the Callis Family, but other than that - he could have just chilled backstage. 2) I can't believe there's a wrestler whose name is literally "ISIS". 3) The streak of AR Fox having a match on Collision continues - as so does his losing streak. He must be a very humble guy, because if I were him, I would have demanded much more respect for my persona and made sure I picked up a win at least once in a while. Especially considering his performance in every match he's in - he just doesn't stop surprising. He should be in the conversation for the most impressive in-ring performer in the world. 4) Btw, where is Brian Cage? P.S. Ah, he suffered a knee (quad injury? ) in March. I miss this meaty man. 5) This episode had a record 7 wrestling matches!"

[6.0] "As much as this Collision was less filler than the standard show, this show can't hold me. Main event is worth checking out, overall this week's episode deserves a 6.5/10"

[8.0] "This Collision compensates the lack of wrestling on yesterday's Dynamite. Nothing but good matches. A lot of Bandido spotlight, Jay Lethal best match in a long time if I'm not forgetting anything and two awesome tag matches were the best part of the show for me. Speedball it's definetely becoming one of my favorites wrestlers to see. It's also cool to have LFI with some regularity. GYV definetely needed a match like this, they looked great. Of course this was not as storydrived as Dynamite, but the opening segment was pretty nice, with Daniel García doing his best mic work in a while, also the Dustin and Sammy vignette was way better than yesterday's promo."

[6.0] "Solid show with some solid wrestling. The main event was the best match although having it follow the CMLL trios match was a questionable choice. Some final build toward Double or Nothing although I would not say much made me overall more interested in the PPV."

[7.0] "Pendulum episode for me. I liked the six-man tag match that opened the program, especially seeing Takeshita and Bandido lock up. Didn't care much for the women's TBS match, but then got a solid match between Fletcher and Jay Lethal. I'm loving how they are building Fletcher. Then an underwhelming tag match between Paragon and GYV, followed by Alexander making light work of AR Fox. Really enjoyed the lucha libre trios match, but didn't like the outcome of the main event. Why is Mike Bailey being pushed over Rush? Bailey is the new Orange/Darby smh"

"There were definitely too many matches that felt like filler to make this show actually great, but there was fun action to make this a fun episode and enjoyable final stop before Double or Nothing. Pretty much all the matches delivered, in particular Paragon vs. GVY and the main event. The CMLL showcase match was also fun. The highlight reel of the show was the opening promo. FTR getting massive heat from the crowd for simply speaking was entertaining as heel and I'm so hyped to see Nigel back in action, on such a big stage. Shout out to the crowd for being great and responsive despite the 4-hour taping. 7/10"

[8.0] "I really enjoyed this episode, what a fun show! The PPV build ups were mostly for the mid card matches, but it's a great follow up of the Dynamite that had less action and more talking, this Collision didn't had any squash matches as usual, just quality wrestling. The CMLL wrestlers did a good job as always, first with Reyna Isis in a solid 5 minute match vs Mercedes Moné for the TBS championship, and the lucha libre trio was a ton of fun, we get to see the big players like Mascara Dorada, Templario, Volador Jr. and Mistico! The AEW high flyer wrestlers also had some good showing like Rush & Dralistico vs Komander & Speedball in a good tv main event. All the Don Callis family had some solid matches in 1 night, but in the middle of all this fast paced action, we got some real graps and the MOTN in Grizzled Young Veteran vs Paragon! See, that's the tag teams that should be ROH tag champions, not fucking Sammy and Dustin... I hope we see more GYV in AEW, I don't know what their contract status are since they're also in DPW, but that's the kind of tag team the mid card really needs right now. However I thought the opener segment FTR/Nigel & Garcia was too long and even unnecessary, the PPV match didn't need more build, and this episode really lacked women's implication, the girls should have more tv time especially with in ring segments and not uninteresting matches. This is still clearly the B show, but it's a little bit better than the last weeks."

[7.0] "Not quite as strong as Dynamite (I watched them b2b tonight) this week, both in terms of match quality and storytelling. But we were treated to a very fun CMLL trios lucha match and a solid main event in Speedball Bailey and Komander against LFI. A good stand-in for Kevin Knight over in Japan doing work for Best of the Super Juniors. Also set up for Double or Nothing was Paragon vs. The DCF which should be good to see. I've never really bought Adam Cole as a singles guy, but is almost always great in multi-man affairs. How you having a card with like a dozen matches only have one of them feature the ladies of the roster? Unfortunately this only match was also the weakest of the night due to some clear unfamiliarness between the two competitors."
