Hardy's vs Fraxiom is fine, but nothing more than a nostalgia ploy, and not a good one at that. Oba vs Moose is boring as hell, as Moose still is just so damn boring. Jordynne vs Roxanne actually isn't bad; and has some solid limb work, but that's forgotten too quickly and we just go into a normal match afterwards. Giulia vs Steph is not as great as it should've been due to Giulias injury and shotty booking on the part of NXT."

NXT has some very, very green performers and sometimes that inexperience shows through despite the efforts of the agents structuring the match and the more experienced hands guiding them through. I wanted more from Vaquer and Giulia, so that disappointed overall and otherwise thought there was just a lot of average here masked by the novelty of having TNA talent."

The return of one of the veterans was a real surprise and added to the excitement. The promo segments were concise and to the point. The main event, alas, did not live up to expectations - it lacked drive and tension."

Main event well under delivered due to the short run time presumably because things ran over or Gulia is hurt. What a show, NXT is the consistently best wrestling TV product out at the moment."

[9.0] "Honestly, so surprised that Shawn Michaels hasn't won the Booker of the Year award yet. This show proves it. It starts with a banger of an opener with the best tag team in professional wrestling, Fraxiom against arguably, the greatest tag team of all time. Match was fast-paced and had great action. Also, the location and the crowd were on fire the entire night. Next, the worst match on the card, however the match was so damn good. Roxanne cannot miss against her opponent and Jordynne Grace is gonna be an excellent addition to the NXT women's division. Their match at NXT Battleground 2024 is such an underrated banger and their chemistry is unmatched. Next, two freak athletes facing each other for the gold, Oba Femi vs Moose. Both men's styles benefited from one another and both men had a fantastic match. In my opinion, the match of the year. Oba's power moves with Moose's athletic ability, so good. Next, one of the better street fights in recent memory, Ethan Page vs Je'Von Evans. Their feud has been a little underrated in my opinion, in particular, Ethan Page. This feud showed his versatility and his range as a professional wrestler and a sports entertainer as well. This match was a spotfest but the spots were done very clean and made sense in regards to the feud and match. Finally, the main event, Stephanie Vaquer vs Giulia. Arguably, two of the best female wrestlers facing off for all the gold. Their chemistry was evident from the start and it ended with a great match. Not a fan of a woman winning both titles but if anyone could do it, I am glad it was Vaquer. Thought it would be a faulty finish or something in order to set up the match at Stand and Deliver but I guess we will see. From top to bottom, this card was so damn good with the in-ring action and NXT has been such a joy to watch."

Overall NXT Roadblock (2025) is a really phenomenal show thanks again to it's insane match card and big time energy."

The opener was great, and continues to prove why Fraxiom is the best tag team in the world. Roxanne and Jordynne once again have a banger match, continuing to show that they have great chemistry. Oba Femi getting an amazing hoss fight out of Moose (not giving him any credit, fuck that abuser). Ethan Page and Je'Von Evans having the match of the night culminating a really good feud. And in the main event, Giulia and Stephanie having a great match as well, redeeming their match from last year. Overall, a really fun show. Fraxiom/Hardys - **** (4). Roxanne/Jordynne - **** (4). Oba/Moose - ****1/4 (4.25). Ethan/Jevon - ****1/2 (4.5). Giulia/Stephanie - ****(4)."

Any of these matches could've been on PLEs and they certainly delivered like they did. Even the weakest match of the whole thing (Jordynne VS Roxanne) was quite good. Now if I were to rate this like a PLE, It'd probably be a 7. But this was on Free Television which bumps this up to an 8. Phenomenal show."

In terms of results, some were not in doubt, but the title matches could've gone either way, especially the main event, considering the heights of history it holds. You could find every flavor of wrestling here: a high-octane opener (Hardys/FrAxiom), a technically gifted showdown (Grace/Roxanne), a beastly collision (Oba/Moose), a charismatic car crash (Je'Von/Ethan), and a well-oiled machine-like historic match (Giulia/Vaquer). In the background, some stories were shaped up nicely for the short term, and in the long term, Stand & Deliver looks like a must-see PPV once again."

No joke I got chills from their entrance musics and chants of Moose/Bu rang around the theatre. Love the stage looking like a boxing venue which I believe Vic Joseph mentioned on commentary Mike Tyson previously beat Mitch Green in the theatre. Jvon defeating Ethan Page was so so good that advertised as another street fight, Jvon had his revenge with his bouncy movements and even shown some crazy looks with the chair. His dive after an egos edge was incredible how stamina works. The cutter through the table was good but the crossbody over the top rope was even more dangerously impressive. Digged the Hardyz dancing out there in a recognisable building after 25 years later defeating the new team of Axiom/Frazer to retain the TNA tag team titles. Roxanne/Jordynne took a chance in making a great story which culminated after a mess up leg being bashed in by Roxanne in the corner post. Beast Mode former known as the juggernaut bomb to pick up the W. Jordynne is the future and Roxanne is the present. Giulia/Vaquer stood out as a better fit for a main event stood out as one of the best womens matches of all time. Top 10 to me. A great main event with two friends under the WWE roster of 5 months becoming main eventers for two prestigious championships. This was won by Stephanie Vaquer with the package neck breaker known as the SVB. Diablo as champion and definitely two of the biggest players in WWE today. NXT Roadblock is 10 stars and reconnecting with the brand after 6 years inactive watching to me is bittersweet, seeing many favorites there and more new ones there. NXT: The Third Brand!"

But I can see at least 2 more matches with them down the line. BUT, I do the Hardys being on Raw or Smackdown at one point this year. Fraxiom are still the best tag team in the world right now. Jordynne & Roxanne was very but it felt like the weakest match of the whole card. Was enjoyable. Moose & Oba was an absolute banger. 2 big guys beating the hell out of each other. Undertaker endorsing Oba before the match was great to see. Je'Von & Ethan was match of the night for me. That cutter spot through scared the hell out of me as I didn't realise a table was already set up. But the plancha over the top rope was insane! Giulia & Stephanie didn't seem to have longer than I wanted obvs cause of the 10pm off but was a very good match. Another match will happen when Giulia comes back from injury. A TAKEOVER sort of show on CW was superb!"

Booking that main event a month before stand and deliver is really weird but it looks like there are outside problem with injuries and the visa and the match itself was short but really good, they will probably do even better in a rematch with more time when she returns, and this loss is a good point to start building a heated feud and not only friendly matches."

[9.0] "What an exciting show this was, once again NXT defeating the main roster and by far. If It were a PPV it would be an 8 but since it's a weekly show it's close to perfection, I can't give it a lower score, that would be too strict. The first fight was really good, the Hardy Boyz showed a lot of skill despite their years of existence and Fraxion, as always, showed that they are the best team on the planet, {8.0} The second match was also tremendous and brutal, somewhat underrated but for me it's an {8.0} (Roxanne's days in NXT are numbered, and that saddens me because it probably has no relevance in The main roster) One of the best fights came with Oba Femi against Moose, in a great match where Moose surprised me, I thought the fight was going to be slow but Moose was just as imposing and brutal as Oba Femi. {8.0} (African dominance once again demonstrating superiority) THE FIGHT OF THE NIGHT came with this great fight between Ethan Page and Je'Von Evans in the true best rivalry of WWE, tremendous ending of a rivalry that I sincerely enjoyed a lot and Holy cow the enormous potential that Je'Von has is absolutely incredible {9.0} The main event, the self-proclaimed best women's match in NXT, or the most important, fell somewhat short of my expectations, but this was for several more than understandable reasons. To begin with, Giulia was theoretically injured (although it was much as if she weren't, in the purest STARDOM style), and due to Giulia's injury, they had to put this fight on much earlier. From what was planned (probably planned for a bigger show like Stand & Deliver) The biggest bullet of NXT today has been spent on a weekly show and that does not convince me since There's only a month left until Stand & Deliver, so you could have easily made it a rematch between Roxanne and Giulia, for example, or had this fight end in a DQ. It was still a solid, dynamic fight. With several very nice transitions, and the end with the "Primera" Stephanie Vaquer proclaiming herself double champion is G (although it should be the photo from the end of Stand & Deliver, not Roadblock) Still, the good thing is that they can continue to make the huge rivalry between Giulia and Steph until No Mercy, which is still a long way off. So I have nothing more to say than thank you Stephanie, thank you Giulia, thank you NXT, because indeed, wrestling won again! {8.0}"

Fraxiom carried the Hardys to their first decent match in roughly a decade, albeit I think it has been slightly overreacted to in how good it was. Considering Giulia's apparent injury, she held up really well in the main event, albeit I still find it quite confusing why this program was so rushed (unless the injury is more serious that we're told). After a pretty rough few months for NXT, this was definitely a step in the right direction."

Only the NXT Championship match was mediocre, because of non-existing thrill that surrounds every match of Oba Femi because his booking is just wrong. I was surprised that the Tag Team match including the THe Hardy Grandpas didn't suck, this also applies to that Street Fight which usually are boring, because no skills is needed in that stupid gimmick match. But Page and Evans managed to do alot inside the ring and use plenty of wreslting moves combined with that obnoxious Street Fight attribute. The best matches in terms of pure wrestling quality were the two Women's matches, with the main event being the best overall, though being way too short for getting a higher rating thatn 7 points from me. But I am glad that Vaquer won, because Guilia is just overrated AF and quite boring. Again, solid show, but who really is going to watch this event multiple times again, like the many 10/10 ratings would suggest, that I see here? Probably no one."

I bet if you put that Jordynne Grace vs Roxanne Perez match on ANY regular show, it would be getting 8s, 9s and even some 10s! That just goes to show how great Roadblock really was this year. I will add a rating tomorrow (ty everyone who ruined it for us! ) but I will be giving it a no-brainer 10. Fraxiom carried the Hardy's to their best match in literally a decade. Oba carried Moose to one of his best matches maybe ever, and the same can be said about Je'Von and Page. Probably not Giulia or Steph Vaquer's best EVER dating back to their time in Stardom and CMLL respectively, plus the fact that it was the shortest in terms of length, but when you have an event that brings out the best of the majority of the talent, you will have a near-flawless show. Jordynne and Roxanne had a solid yet unmemorable competive match. I thought Roxanne looked to be the more technically sound which is crazy given her age. Oba and Moose had a fun meat match. A lot of power moves, the two trying to outdo the other with Oba winning surpringly clean. I did not care for any of the backstage segments. The Family are corny, Jaida Parker is a transphobe, I think Eddy Thorpe is just an ultra generic tough guy gimmick, not for me. Page and Evans put on a real banger. I've noticed I really enjoy Ethan Page in hardcore matches but find him boring in regular matches. There were some truly impressive spots in this from Evans. The flying cutter through the table and then the springboard cutter while Ethan's head was in the chair. The timeing and athleticism needed to pull these moves off is top tier. I can't say I'm invested in the story but the match was really good. Giulia and Vaquer didn't really live up to the hype for me. I know Giulia's banged up but thus far I think Vaquer has outclassed her both from an in ring perspective and a sports entertainment perspective. But just an alright, above average match. A fun show overall with one very good match, had they been given PPV time, I probably would have enjoyed this more."

But every match hit and more than delivered and in some cases overdelivered. Fraxiom did what they do best and got the maximum out of who they are facing, with the hardys working a veteran style against the young and fast paced duo. Jordynne vs roxanne was a lovely limb work match. Oba vs moose overdelivered. Page vs jevon was an excellent street fight and vaquer vs giulia was a great main event"

The Hardys had one of their best matches in some time against Fraxiom in a great tag team opener; I honestly didn't know the Hardys still had this kind of match in them when in some recent appearances it's looked like they hurt to walk. (And, of course, it's wild to see the Hardys defend the TNA tag belts in NXT in 2025... today's wrestling sure is weird.) Grace and Perez had a good bout with Grace getting a solid win and Perez likely being written out of NXT for the main roster. Femi vs Moose was a good big-man match with both looking impressive and Femi getting a big win over a notable outside talent. Evans vs Page was probably my least favorite of the evening, but was still a solid modern-style street fight with some impressive spots. Its segment ended with the yet-to-be-named invader stable attacking Evans (still not sold on this one; still feels way too similar to the ill-fated Retribution stable). And the main event was a good bout with a big-match feel; it should set up well for an eventual, probably even-better rematch once Giulia is 100%. A very enjoyable 1.5 hour watch."

Anyway, this whole card seemed like it was worth a look and sure enough, it breezed on by with a lively crowd, a decent variety of match styles and some attention-friendly runtimes. The NXT vs. TNA rivalry is a cool way to cross-promote and offer up fresh matchups, but I didn't catch a whiff of any heat at all - ROH vs. CZW this ain't. My viewing habits mean I don't catch many promos & angles, and most of what aired here fell into that cheesy 'reality' tv style of fakery. Standouts were Ricky Saints, who came off as natural & charismatic, and the red-hot Trick-Thorpe promo & angle, which made me want to see their bout."

But that hyped got me to watch the show so I guess it's a win. HBK is doing the best with NXT and I love it for him. Just two DX member cooking good for their fans. p.s. Je'Veon vs Ethan Page had some insane spots. Vaquer beating Giulia was (imo) the right decision in another great match. Fraxiom gave the Hardyz the best match they've had in years, Roxanne and Jordynne had a good match (that got overshadowed by the main event, but fine), Oba Femi and Moose having a great Goliath vs Goliath match, the blowoff to the Page vs Evans feud, which was also great and the main event with the biggest women's match in NXT in years, just a wonderful episode packed with high quality wrestling. Unsurprisingly, the "anti-tribalism" "just enjoy wrestling! The show was a breeze to get through, not a single match felt like it dragged on too long, I wasn't bored for a second. Every single match was good and had anticipation build into it. Overall, broadly an OK show, particularly as someone who, admittedly, hasn't sat through a full NXT show since, like, the very end of the Black and Gold era, but nothing spectacular, and certainly nothing worthy of the incredibly high rating it has here."

Hardy and Fraxion was 7/10 with more potential if they had more time, same to Roxanne and Jordynne and the main event. Oba Femi another 7/10 against Moose, and the only one who was a real 8 was the street fight. Therefore, again, no fuckin reason for this overrating."

The Hardy's had one of the best matchesI have seen in years featuring them. It was fun, a touch chaotic in places and Fraxiom did a lot of heavy lifting with the pace and really made this match work. 7/10. Grace and Perez, solid and unremarkable but entertaining. Both have a lot of upside and the match was good. 7/10 Moose and Oba Femi, wildly overrated currently. Just a fairly basic but well delivered match. Not sure why this one is higher than 6/10. Je'von vs Page, an absolute shameless spot fest that was a lot of fun. The pace was breathless and the finish was inventive and made sense from a story perspective. 7.5-8/10 Vaquer vs Giulia: maybe my expectations were a little too high and the finish a little too predictable because I was a touch disappointed. A solid TV main event but I felt like this could have been more. 7/10 Overall Rating 7/10"

With the TNA titles on the line, there wasn't any doubt that the Hardys would win, but that didn't stop this from being a highly enjoyable match (8/10). Jordynne vs Roxanne was good. They went out there and delivered strong performances, with Grace getting the clean win, as both seem destined to be called up to the main roster soon (7.5/10). Oba Femi vs Moose was a good old fashioned hoss fight. Nothing fancy here, just two big guys beating each other up. With the NXT title at stake, Oba winning wasn't a surprise, and yet it still feels like a big win for him to successfully defend against someone of equal size (8/10). The street fight between Evans and Page was very good. It was definitely a spot-fest, things would happen just for the sake of it, but it all looked good so it was fine with me. I think it did go on a little too long, though. Evans gets the revenge win (8/10). The women's title for title main event between Giulia and Vaquer was I thought the best match of the show. I do wish it got more time, given how this was being advertised as the biggest women's match in NXT history. 11 minutes was simply not long enough. Giulia and Vaquer both looked great, probably the best either has been in NXT so far. Giulia looked strong in defeat and can easily get right back into the main event level when she returns. Vaquer is definitely worthy of being the first woman double champion in NXT history (8.5/10). Roadblock was a great special episode of NXT. They should have shortened some of the other matches so the main event had more time. Aside from that, the match quality was consistently high. 9/10"

I'm primarily an AEW fan, and don't really have much time to watch WWE, just because there is so much wrestling on every week and sometimes I just have to pick and choose what I watch. That being said, I thought this was a really good all-around show! Nothing really blew me away quality wise, but everything was, at the very least, serviceable for a TV Special. Hardyz/Fraxiom, Grace/Perez, and Vaquer/Giulia were all really good, Je'Von/Ethan was a little underwhelming to me, but still a fun hardcore match. The only match I didn't really enjoy was Moose/Oba, but even that wasn't terrible or anything, just painfully average. The women's division is very obviously the shining light of NXT right now, but man even from watching one show, I can tell this men's division is a little dire. Oba is cool, I like him, but beyond Trick, Je'Von and Ricky what other credible challengers does he have? Doesn't help that the women often put the men to shame in terms of match quality. Still, I had my issues with it, but fun show! (4/5)"
