[3.0] "The first like of the show is about as bad as it gets, we get lazy promos from even people like Bret, an awful Philadelphia Street Fight from Public Enemy and Hugh/Barbarian. The last hour carries this show from the bottom of the barrel in the show rankings, we get a great angle featuring Rick Steiner doing what DDP did a year ago where he beats the NWO up after accepting their offer to join. Giant shows up and powerbombs Nash! Giant got an injured neck from a bad jackknife he took at Souled Out. They tried arresting him and the cuffs didn't fit. Eddie and Jericho cement themselves as the best tag team in the company. And a good main event (at least comparative to other WCW main events)."

[6.0] "My boy Super Calo a jobber, sad times. Rick Steiner vs Scott Steiner is hottest angle going but I would argue The Giant returning was pretty hype. Duggan put on a great match with Scott, I was so surprised. Brian Adam's and Bret Hart was fine but not really up to par with the rest of the card. Raven gets a rare no interference win which is nice to see. Randy Savage and Sting make a weird team but they all worked well with Hogan's usual crap. It's also nice seeing Prince Iaukea and Public Enemy on a Nitro."

[4.0] "What even was the point of this show? Was this the Nitro Party Report? There were a few big moments, like Giant powerbombing Nash right after Rick Steiner took on the nWo after pretending to join them. A few good matches, like Juvie v Chavo Guerrero and the tag team match between Booker T/Malenko and Jericho/Eddie Guerrero, but I really don't want Juvie v Konnan to be a thing becaus Konnan is just terrible. Good to see Bret Hart in the ring, but couldn't they pit him against someone with actual talent and not just Brian Adams? We don't even get a real match as Hennig interrupts it for a DQ after the Sharpshooter is locked in. While there's not exactly a whole lot of big spots or anything extreme in the main event, it's fun to see a less insane Macho in action. It's a pretty solid classic wrestling match, and the crowd loves it, and while the nWo bumrushing the ring is no surprise it was cool to see Giant coming out as well to help."

[6.0] "Hollywood Hogan gave another typical promo about Macho Man/ Finally Raven finished No Dq Match/ Randy Savage is still member of New World Order, but he formed a coalition with Sting. Sting cuts good promo about Macho Man and Scott Hall/ Curt Hennig is better option to fight with Bret Hart because Brian Adams is bad wrestler. Hart promo about Hennig was solid. Feud between Hennig and Flair is still going on, Ric Flair is in good condition/ NWO is too big so it's good that Rick Steiner attacked Nash and his brother/ Giant returned was great/ Finish of the fight between Hart and Adams was not clear, it must be a joke/ Main Event was very emotional and big brawl finish this solid Nitro."

[7.0] "Another fine episode of Nitro. Best match was the Jericho/Eddie tag match, and Bret vs. Adams being runner up. Big name tag match for the main event and it was ok despite the predictable ending and a mercifully brief appearance by "The Disciple" Brutus Beefcake."
