[7.0] "This was my first viewing of a TJPW show. Overall I thought it was a good event, with a very good final three matches. It started well, with two decent tag matches, which involved some rookies/newcomers. It then became a worry for me with the next two matches, both comedy matches, which I really don't like. I don't mind comedy in wrestling, it has its time and place, but for an entire match gimmick to be comedy, that is not for me. I have enjoyed comedy in the past with Santino Marella, Shark Boy, R-Truth etc, but I guess Japanese comedy is not for me, especially when it is an entire match's gimmick (New Year's Lumbersnake Death Match). We then had two more tag matches, these were good matches, better than the openers. Then we had three straight title matches, all very good, two title changes too. The crowd was very good throughout the event which helps make it feel like it matters and lifts matches through the atmosphere. Overall I would give an 7.5, but with a choice of 7 or 8, the comedy matches made me go to 7, that is 22+ minutes of my life I will never get back."

Incredibly solid wrestling, and even the more comedy-based stuff, such as the obligatory Annual Hyper Misao Gets Silly Match, really didn't overstay their welcome. Along with the final two matches but being excellent affairs, there's not much you can ask for."

"This was my first time checking out a TJPW show. I've been familiar with some of its stars through IWC osmosis and found myself with some extra time on my holidays and decided to see what this promotion has to offer: I loved it. This show was great. Miu vs Hizuki was fanastic. The tag team title match was insane. I can't wait to hop back into TJPW in the near future!"

[7.0] "Good show. Not one I saw as high as some of the ratings seen here. The main event was my favorite match of the show with the two preceding title matches also being enjoyable while the New Year's Lumbersnake Death Match was also enjoyable. Largely consistent and solid around those matches."

"A good solid, big end of year show for TJPW. The title matches were fun, the lumberjack match was an absolute blast and it was nice to see Yuka back in Japan."

[7.0] "Pretty decent show! The main and semi main were absolutely fantastic, while most that came before it were pretty solid too. I wasn't too big on a lot of the comedy stuff which definitely limited how much I'd be able to enjoy a show like this. Otherwise great stuff."

[7.0] "This was one of the underwhelming TJPW crowds that I remember - it never truly felt like Korakuen was packed, they didn't elevate a single match on the show (not even Nakajima vs. Misao, that was all about crowd interactions), I guess 'power of the brand' is strong enough to sell tickets, but it isn't something that invests people in what they're doing or wrestlers they have. I guess this an effect of 'right time, right place' situation as this show took place right before Wrestle Kingdom. Still, just like many TJPW Korakuens are, it's a good introduction to the promotion - familiar faces and guests (Kong, Mizunami, Sakazaki, Slamovich, Zakher), a debut that can be very important for TJPW's 2025 (Mifu Ashida) and three consequential title matches. Although to me all three of them underdelivered, they provided something satisfying - Suzume's feel-good title win, exciting Miyu Yamashita performance and flashes of brilliance from both Watanabe and Mizuki in the Main Event."

"It's amazing for a women's wrist. Mizuki's finishing move is great and not many wrestlers can pull off that easily. Of course, Watanabe's extraordinary performance should not be overlooked. A watch that may not have an important story behind it, Lee has an interesting narrative along with it."

[10.0] "Another excellent TJPW Ittenyon in the books! This show was really great, the highlights being the 3 title matches, and the gloriously strange and endearing Misao vs Snake Shoko! Also, Cagematch staff, please get Matcha's profile up! I need to go give her match Pom a 10 !"

[9.0] "Right from the start, the new Up Up Girls song rocked! Might be their best one since Babyface, which is a big favourite. Nice to see Mifu Ashida in TJPW, she looked good tagging with Himawari who is probably my favourite wrestler in the company now. She's just amazing and I hope for great thing in 2025 for her. Chika and Toga looked good and it was a decent opener. Yoppy and Aniki together is an awesome team up, and I need more of it. Nice to see them win here with Toribami. Aja Kong wasn't happy about teaming against her favourite, Raku. So she swapped teams instantly before the match started. Along with Neko, leaving Mahiro alone against 5. But Mahiro got sick of the bullying, she soon snapped and started slamming everyone. Causing Aja and Neko to quietly swap back. Aja doing comedy is hilarious and I don't know why. I think because she's such a legitimate badass legend, that her doing comedy matches and having a soft spot for Raku works so well. Especially when she hits people with her trademark bin. The Pom spot had me crying with laughter and all the Aja/Raku interactions. Just a great entertaining match, that I love from TJPW. Next, the annual Shoko Nakajima vs Hyper Misao match, which is fast becoming the greatest series of matches ever. This time it was a Lumbersnake deathmatch. It's as mad as it sounds, and I loved it. Quite possibly my MOTY already, Shoko drinking poison, being a snakewoman with Poison Sawada Julie. Alongside Toga, Himawari and Yoppy as snake women. It was beautiful. A fantastic and completely crazy match that will go down as one of the most entertaining things i've ever seen. Yuka Sakazaki returns to TJPW, teaming with Moka. Was nice to see her again, wish AEW would use her more but hopefully this year. A fun tag match though. Arisu and Shino were good. The Kamifuku and Lei Ying tag was fun, it probably should've been lower in the card. Felt out of place here, but all 4 looked fine and did good work. Liked Lei Yings work with the referee haha. Now the big 3 title matches, all worth seeing honestly. Great to see Suzume get her moment and well deserved. No doubt Arai will move forward and challenge for the PoP title in the future. The tag title match was fun, but never i doubt that 121000000 were winning. Always nice to see Masha and Zara in TJPW though. Now the Main event, Mizuki winning is the right call. She's so damn popular and the Miu is better in the chase I think. Overall a fantastic show and one of TJPW's best."

[10.0] "Possibly the most TJPW show ever. Every title match was very good if not great. The undercard was very fun and largely hilarious. Shoko and Misao did their thing per usual. The main event was a classic. Both title changes were perfect. The pacing was on point with only one match going 14+ minutes. The 1/4 show is always a hit and this one might be the best one yet."

[9.0] "TJPW always put their best effort into the 1.4 show. With that said I think the opener was very weak. Luckily things improved after that. Highlights for me were the Lumbersnake deathmatch which was hilarious. Suzume winning the international title, I guess Arai goes after the Princess of Princess title now? Of course the main event was great too. Always a show of the year contender, make sure to watch it!"

[10.0] "The most feel good show of Ittenyon week. Even more than that, this year might be the most feel good TJPW show they've ever held. An absolute joy to watch from start to finish particularly the final 2 matches. Must watch if you care at all about the promotion."

[9.0] "Another great TJPW Ittenyon. One so well oiled and rising in intensity towards a fantastic series of main event matches. Not every match was perfect (when are they ever all perfect? ) but you're having so much fun it doesn't even matter."

[10.0] "Basically a perfect show in encapsulating TJPW and all its weird and wonderful ways and highlighting the strengths of the roster. There's nothing quite like an ittenyon korakuen for comfort viewing that still manages to wow you with crazy great main events. Watch the lumberjack snake match and the 3 title matches at the very least. But even in the other matches there's even fun and shows of fun characters and new moves to be gratifying. You get Ryo Mziunami hyping up her team, Mahiro bullying, Chika's d-list toku acting. Well worth the quick runtime."

[9.0] "Another fantastic Ittenyon that offered a great variety of entertainment and a crazy collection of great main events to top it off. I have loved the annual tradition of Shoko vs Misao in crazy stipulations and this year might have been the best yet! The cheesy Shoko acting, Poison Sawada's return to TJPW to complete his rivalry with Misao, the snake dancing, Mahiro corpsing, it was packed! Suzume winning was the right choice and she has amazing chemistry with Arai. Her adopting the buzz cutter was a great surprise to a fun match. I feel like Zara finally showed off what she's capable of with that tag match, she was the mainstay of it and she really delivered. Masha is fantastic as always and 121000000 continue to deliver. The main event featured Miu being a bully bordering on a heel, a giant physical wall to scale for Mizuki, a new role she did fantastically at. The giant swing by the wrists on Mizuki was a fantastic display of strength and control and utter domination. In the end Miu's own bullying ways and flashes of arrogance undid her as Mizuki brought out everything from her arsenal to counter the new ace Miu. Just a beautiful show to watch live with a great crowd."
