503.07.2025robbyplaha8.0This episode of SmackDown was quite impressive. Overall, the show delivered well. My only concern remains the absence of Carmelo Hayes and Andrade, who were prominent during the second half of last year. I hope they receive bigger roles on SmackDown soon. The opening segment featuring CM Punk was captivating, especially when he hinted at his support for Paul Heyman. The wrestling matches throughout the show were notable; I particularly enjoyed Rey Fenix's WWE debut and the Main Event Last Man Standing Match. However, Charlotte and Tiffany Stratton's segment felt awkward, turning into an uncomfortable shoot that brought up significant aspects of Charlotte's life, though I understand Tiffany's motives since Charlotte has been undermining her. Sadly, Kevin Owens will be sidelined for an extended period due to a neck injury as he announced his upcoming surgery. Meanwhile, Randy Orton will miss WrestleMania in Las Vegas. CM Punk concluded the show by delivering a GTS to Roman Reigns. In summary, it was a solid show overall.

809.05.2025Smi-487.0Okay, Punk gets Hometown Pops, but that's all there is to it for now. Then we get a showcase of WWE newcomer Rey Fenix, which is also a very predictable affair. Knight holds his own against Tama Tonga, but his big task will be Jacob Fatu. Tiffany Stratton and Charlotte Flair have a memorable and unprofessional verbal exchange. That would be worth a clear warning in my book. DIY and the MCMG have a lot of talent again, but considerably less chemistry, while Naomi's heel turn is further refined by the casual success over B-Fab. What comes next is of course sad. Kevin Owens is one of the hardest workers in the company and has to worry about his career just before the biggest payday of the year. Let's keep our fingers crossed that he recovers quickly. Randy Orton responds without comment and a RKO to the GM. The following LMS is very decent. And in the end, Punk calls in his favor with Heyman and forces him to betray Roman Reigns. Nice. Not everything is good here, but a lot is pretty okay.

1517.04.2025suplexcity459.0This show was honestly great. Amazing debut from Rey Fenix, and a fun match between braun and jacob. But the segments really carried this. Jade and Naomis match at mania was finally announced, and the main event segment between roman, seth, and punk was awesome. Really great smackdown with no real weak spots.

2611.04.2025monchmania9.09/10 : Fantastic smackdown on the road to wrestlemania. Great debut for Fenix and a superb match partner in Fraser which kept the match fast paced, exciting, and different from the more standardized HHH booking of the previous weeks. Loved the last man standing match which had real intensity to it, and the other matches were all solid with story lines mixed in for extra emphasis. As someone who got into wrestling in 2011 and lost my love for it in 2015, it truly is such a better product which I think people tend to forget in online discourse particularly - much love and hope you enjoy the show :)

3509.04.2025Kapi5.0Pretty weak SD but some interesting points. Fénix vs Frazer was good but dissapointing, everybody knows those two can do something way better together. Tiff and Charlotte segment was... something. I have to say it was the best thing in their rivalry since the brawl in Barcelona. The favor thing is a huge dissapointing, but I guess we have that assumed at this point, I hope it can create something interesting after WM. LMS was great, I love this Braun version, he is basically legitimating monsters, he did it with Bronson and now with Jacob. Lot of respect.

3808.04.2025Taibhse10.0Fantastic episode of SmackDown - excellent matches, great storyline progression of multiple feuds (including the Charlotte-Tiffany trainwreck which may turn out to be a blessing in disguise since *everyone's* talking about and interested in that Mania match now), and the Punk-Heyman-Reigns story really kicking into high gear. It took a while but the Road to Mania is cooking now even if they left it late.

4008.04.2025RestlingThots Wow, finally WWE found a sponsor for the SmackDown ring canvas. Took them long enough - 3 months, to be exact. As to the episode itself, Paul Heyman was the MVP of the last night. The final segment was executed to perfection by all sides involved in the main event of Wrestlemania 41 Saturday, but what the wiseman did deserves at least a nomination for the Emmy award. Unfortunately, besides the "favor" storyline, this episode didn't have much to offer. I still can't believe Kevin Owens is shoot injured. There should be a reason why he came out in a Breat Hart hoodie and a Finn Ballor t-shirt, RIGHT? The RKO to Aldis didn't make much sense to me, but at the same time it made all the sense in the world - we all make irrational decisions in the time of frustration ang anger, RIGHT? Honestly, I thought for sure Solo was going to cost Jacob the Last Standing Match to set up their inevitable match at WrestleMania, but obviously WWE is in no rush to wrap up this story.

5307.04.2025AJN75.0This rating does not reflect the quality of the matches, as I actually thought they were very good. Everything else however, was not. The Kevin Owens announcement was so absolutely heartbreaking I just felt like I couldn't enjoy the rest of the show. Also that Flair/Stratton segment was just fucking weird. They have zero natural chemistry together. Shooting on failed marriages is just not it. Very strange episode.

7206.04.2025Rosya6.0What will Rey Fenix do after the debut? That's right, he'll have a feud with a Latin American. And not just one, as I understand, but a whole stable. And the debut itself was against the athletic Frazer, who frankly no one cares about. They could've created some kind of lead-in, like they did with Penta on RAW. The post match promo was cringe. Why did Rey even say anything? Why was Nathan made out to be a loser when he was the champion? They could have given him a few words for that matter. Tama Tonga is a joke. He never wins. Why would LA Knight fight him? It's a waste of time! The segment with Charlotte and Tiffany was a complete failure. If it was improvised, and I mean the part of the segment where Tiffany was speaking, then it was bad and shouldn't have deviated from the script. On the other hand, knowing how writers are whitewashed these days, I can assume that it was all written, except for Charlotte's line about Ludwig Kaiser. Those responsible for this segment must be fined and never allowed to book again. It's funny that Naomi attacked Jade but gave her a 1-on-1 match, and this will be the first women's singles match without additional rules and a title on the line at WrestleMania. I liked Damian Priest's promo, but it felt like he sounded like a regular internet fan. Priest deserves more, his gimmick needs to be developed. Kevin Owens' promo seemed emotional, but I honestly don't trust Owens anymore. His character is such that I wouldn't care about him for what he's done to his friends in the last 4-6 months. Last Man Standing was cool, although I can't shake the feeling that visually Braun Strowman is stronger and in theory could have won. Fatu goes to WrestleMania, which is a good idea. A rivalry between CM Punk, Roman Reigns, Paul Heyman and a little bit of Seth Rollins is satisfying. Now Seth seems like a third wheel. He failed to keep Punk from the main event of WM, so now he has nothing to do. And if you think about it, the triple threat feud itself still doesn't make sense. What are they fighting for? I'm not even talking about the titles. Just what is the point of their feud? What kind of grievances do they have to fight in a triple threat match? The only thing I understand is CM Punk wanting Paul Heyman to accompany him during the entrance, be at his corner. That's all

7506.04.2025Sky227 best Smackdown of 2025 finally felt like we are on Road to Mania: Punk & Heyman opening & closing the show - favor is obvious, better than #1 contender stipulation although I expected smth more creative (I hope it doesnt end with Heyman going to Rollins cuz it would be swerve just to do a swerve imo) / nice debut for Fenix (& then straight to Mexico vortex^^) + showing for Nathan / LA-Tama was kinda random, Tag match decent, they should have ended Jacob-Braun at SNME - I'm sadly not invested for some time / Jade-Naomi brawl was ok / Tiffy-Charlotte was messy but finally made their match interesting (i feel confirmed in my feeling that Charlotte went offscript in splitscreen segment)
7606.04.2025RoseySplash976.0
7706.04.2025BorrisCortes9.0One of the best smackdowns of the year. Punk's promo is nice despite its length. The Frazer/Fenix match is very cool (despite the botch) and a little too short. A successful debut for Penta's brother. The second match between Knight and Tama was a bit random but okay. Now the Charlotte/Tiffy segment. WHAT A BIZARRE AND INCREDIBLE SEGMENT. Charlotte making fun of Tiffy's voice, Tiffy attacking Charlotte's life at 25, her personality and her personal problems. Clearly THE women's segment of the year. The tag team match is very cool, much better than the match at the Royal Rumble with still an in ring worthy of what you'd expect in the tag division. Pleasantly surprised by a cheated win from MCMG. The Profits/MCMG match is going to be cool and I hope the ladder match with the 5 smackdown teams is at WM. I liked the little Naomi/Cargill brawl. I'm really glad the match is at WM because it's nice to have a women's match where there's a personal story and not a title story. The Naomi/B Fab surprised me because of B Fab's offence (I thought she was going to win). Kevin Owens promo is very tough. I think this injury is real because I'd find it weird to take Owens away from the biggest event of the year for a story. On the other hand, Orton putting an RKO on Aldis in reaction to him finding out he won't be at WM is very cool and reminds us of the Orton of 2009. What's the plan for Orton? The Drew and Priest segments are cool. I'm very surprised that the match is going to happen next week, knowing that this match belonged on WM. The last man standing is very cool with a big brawl between two monsters (too bad there are two commercials). Very glad Fatu finally beat Braun Strowman, Fatu/LA Knight at WM is excellent. Glad to have a single match rather than a multi match. I hope Fatu wins the title for his work since his WWE debut. The final segment is very cool. I was expecting the favour to be Heyman's pairing with Punk. Now where will that partnership lead after Wrestlemania? Rollins' reaction is excellent. Rollins warned but Reigns would have none of it. I know Chicago has always been a good crowd but I still congratulate them for making noise. I hope future Smackdowns are as good as this one.

8406.04.2025combatpulsemma It was a solid episode. Rey Fenix is here! Disappointed about Kevin Owens injury.. what is going to happen with Randy Orton now? Fatu/Strowman was awesome. Fatu vs LA Knight at Wrestlemania sounds crazy but hey, it's a fresh matchup for the Mania card. Punk/Rollins/Reigns/Heyman was what it was expected to be: awesome. Roman sold the GTS big. The Triple Threat really does deserve the Night 1 main event as of now.

9005.04.2025JackZiggler [7/10] Rey Fenix's presentation was excellent and the match was great. LA Knight vs Tama Tonga was average at best. MCMG vs DIY was ok. It's just the same stuff every week for the Smackdown Tag Division, which has gotten boring. Naomi vs B-Fab is what you would have expected. The highlight of the segment was the match between Naomi and Jade being announced for Mania. Jacob Fatu vs Braun Stroman was great and I think Fatu vs Knight at Mania will be a very good match. The highlights of the show were probably Fenix's debut and the closing segment. I Hope Kevin Owens recovers and is back in the ring as shortly as possible. Overall I thought the show was very good.

9405.04.2025crs2857.0Fun episode. The Heyman, Reigns, Rollins and Punk story was done well in this episode, I also think the Charlotte vs Stratton had one of their best segments. Thought all of the matches were at least solid, with Frazer vs Fenix being the best match on the card.

9605.04.2025QueirosS5.0Some good stuff in here, the last man standing match was obviously good, the Naomi and Jade segment, although short and simple, was good and Rey Fenix debut was decent/good. Then there's a lot of mid stuff but then there is a lot of things I just didn't like. Where is Chelsea Green? Why is Randy RKOing Aldis? And everything involving the main event is simply nonsensical, just nonsensical.
