507.03.2025GunAlpha8.0Well... well... well... Ranna Yagami vs. Sayaka Kurara on the pre-show, one of Yagami's best matches for me, with some pretty decent counters, but nothing more than that, but it still passes muster since these two rookies put in a lot of effort {6.0} STARS (Hanan & Saya Iida) defeat HATE (Momo Watanabe & Thekla) The tag team title match was really good and surprised me, once again Hanan and Saya Iida show that they are the best tag team in Stardom, defeating those bitches from HATE. {7.0} The Three Way 12 Man Tag Team Match was pure filler to jinx Shirakawa for Wrestle Dynasty (although she still lost to the overrated Mercedes Moné) {4.0} Neo Genesis (AZM, Mei Seira, Miyu Amasaki & Suzu Suzuki) defeat STARS (Hazuki, Koguma, Mayu Iwatani & Momo Kohgo), apart from seeing the GOAT OF GOATS, Mayu Iwatani in action and also seeing AZM in action, who is semi-elite for me, poor Momo Kohgo is still the biggest jobber of all despite working one of the best in this match and still gets counted out. {5.0} Saori Anou defeats Mika Iwata, this match was very good, another fight in their rivalry where both of them bring out their maximum power (although Iwata overexploited the superkicks to the max) {7.0} Syuri vs. Konami didn't make sense, I mean why HATE intervenes right at the start of the match? THEY COULD HAVE DONE THAT WHEN SYURI MADE HER ENTRANCE! and they also put Konami in a bad light in 30 seconds, go fuck yourselves... Natsuko Tora defeats Maika in a match that I already rated as a solo match, an ultraviolent match where Maika suffered everything, poor thing, probably Natsuko's best match (thanks to the items), a complete and resounding {8.0} Starlight Kid defeats Natsupoi in a match that I watched again AT THE END, and yes, it was a beautiful match, FIGHT OF THE NIGHT without a doubt, what beautiful false endings, what beautiful counters, what chemistry these two have, although the story didn't call my attention either, so Natsupoi's reign ends and now, SLK's path begins, this match definitely deserves the wonderful {9.0} The main event was very good as well but it was far from the previous match, Saya Kamitani defeats Tam Nakano and is crowned by defeating the girl who brought her to Stardom finally, a very good decision, so a {8.0} Overall, very good Stardom show, I don't think there was absolutely any match that disappointed me, apart from Syuri vs Konami. Does it deserve the magnificent 9.0? Nah, but a more than obvious 8 of course.

1206.02.2025sarahlicity9.0Dream Queendom was, as always, a delight. Even the "worst" match, the 12-woman three-way tag team match, was only "just good", and we got two incredibly good matches in the Red and White Belt matches, especially a late "women's Match of the Year" candidate.

1915.01.20250nerME8.0Great show with a bit of everything, funny matches, the no dq match was really what I thought of violence, even if it's weird to see this kind of match at stardom.
2014.01.2025roboqui9.0Great show with a bit of everything, funny matches, no dq and higly dramatic match I highly recommend the two main events, the tag titles match and Anou/Iwata
2113.01.2025Thenwoagedbadly9.0Sadly, I cannot give this card a perfect 10. This is due to the fact that, even though the card's obvious strengths become apparent on a repeated viewing, there's just a little bit too much one has to ignore for a 10 to be awarded (2 run-of-the-mill multi-women tags and the Syuri/Konami debacle). However, putting the aforementioned elements aside, this is a fantastic card that delivers thrills, good booking and serious excitement. It also fully restores Stardom's momentum. There's too much to write about concerning the seven matches that were truly worth watching but, suffice to say, the tag match was absolutely great, the pre-show was incredibly good value and the final 3 matches all delivered and then some (SLK/Poi was far better when I watched it the second time). Production and commentary were top-notch too. Final point:- For once, the Stardom crowd were genuinely loud and passionate; it would be nice if we had more of this. Much more. Because the atmosphere that was created definitely added to the action.

2507.01.2025mooseinfnats8.0Very strong show overall. The business end of the card delivered hard with great matches and lots of catharsis. I'm not a huge fan of the multiwomen matches but they hardly take away anything from the show overall. Might have been able to get a 9 out of me if Syuri/Konami had been able to deliver too.
2607.01.2025sn00p61910.0The perfect finish to Kid's story from jobber to Mayu's tag team partner in the covid era, an excursion as a heel, and back as her true self, leading her own unit. The history with Natsupoi was well worked into the match as well. *****

3302.01.2025StardomIcon9.0Great show overall considering where Stardom was earlier this year. The women of Stardom deserve a ton of credit for turning the ship around in the post-Rossy era, because some of their PPVs from this past Spring/early Summer were complete wrecks from the booking side of things. The pre-show matches were solid and almost every match on the card delivered, with the exception of the Syuri vs Konami match. Syuri continues to be poorly booked during the Okada era, sadly. However, Natsupoi vs SLK was probably my second favorite Stardom match of the year behind Syuri vs Mayu on January 4th. The main even was great as well as Tam always delivers.

3801.01.2025Wright159.0Another year, another instance of Stardom hitting it out of the park on their season finale. This cannot get a 10 due to stuff like Konami and Syuri not getting to have a real match, but I had four bouts at 4 stars or higher, and the final two matches on the show were two of the three best matches in Stardom in 2024.

4331.12.2024Broony [8.0] Bit of a rough start however it became a great show and terrific final 3 matches. Sat in the very final row but didn't hinder my experience, still enjoyed the show for the most part. Confused on why they used the Syuri match as a way to debut new talent and pretty much writing off a match but I'm not a professional booker so what do I know.

5531.12.2024Speedy23328.0The main show didn't start off all too well in my opinion, the tag title match felt way too long for me and it seemed like Saya Iida was carrying while Momo brought the whole affair down. The show slowly got my attention back with the eight women tag match. A shame that Konami vs Syuri was thrown out, I was looking forward to that match. SLK vs Natsupoi is a last minute match of the year candidate for me and Kamitani vs Tam had some great moments as well. SLK really earned the win and I'm excited to see how long the new champs will manage to hold the titles.

6230.12.2024Rossg178.0While it may have not been a perfect show from STARDOM, the show had some memorable moments and matches, with the highlights being SLK/Natsupoi, Saya Kamitani/Tam Nakano (which if anyone hasn't watched them, I would recommed watching them). Aya Sakura & Yuna Mizumori vs Chi Chi & Matoi Hamabe: A solid pre-show tag team match that was what you would expect, the in ring work was solid [**3/4]. Ranna Yagami vs Sayaka Kurara: These two rookies having a solid showcase, they went to a time limit draw which is fine to be honest, the action had its moments [**1/2]. Hanan & Saya Iida vs Momo Watanabe & Thekla: An opening match that had a simple structure to it, the action in ring was solid and they did what they needed to, which was to get the crowd warmed up for the rest of the show, the title change was the right choice [***3/4]. HANAKO, Mina Shirakawa, Rian & Waka Tsukiyama vs Hina, Lady C, Saki Kashima & Tomoka Inaba vs Azusa Inaba, Fukigen Death, Rina & Ruaka: It was a fine multi team multi woman match that was there to fill out the show and it was decent enough [**1/4]. AZM, Mei Seira, Miyu Amasaki & Suzu Suzuki vs Hazuki, Koguma, Mayu Iwatani & Momo Kohgo: A decent preview for the upcoming Tokyo Dome match between Iwatani and AZM, it was a solid decently paced match [***]. Saori Anou vs Mika Iwata: These two had an interesting match this time in STARDOM and not Sendai Girls, the ending sequence with the near falls was solidly worked [***3/4]. Syuri vs Konami: A 30 second match that nearly ended in a KO but Syuri got attacked by HATE [DUD]. Natsuko Tora vs Maika: STARDOM doesn't do this type of match much but both these absolutely delivered, it was a easy watch with Maika showing that she is tough against the monster Tora who acted like a Big Boss here by beating Maika very brutally [****]. Starlight Kid vs Natsupoi: These two had a great match that had some memorable exchanges, at times it seemed like Natsupoi was gonna win but SLK winning was the right decision [****1/2]. Saya Kamitani vs Tam Nakano: The match did go off the rails briefly but managed to get back on track, the match was actually quite entertaining throughout, Saya using the chain was interesting, Saya winning the match and the title was an interesting choice [****1/2]
6330.12.2024Visual Kei7.0STARDOM's last big event of this year. More detailled ratings in the guides. COSMIC ANGELS vs. Chi Chi/Hamabe: *** Yagami vs. Kurara: ***1/4 HATE(C) vs. STARS - Goddesses Title: ***1/2 HATE vs. EXV vs. God's Eye: ***1/4 STARS vs. NEO GENESIS: ***1/2 Anou vs. Iwata: ***1/2 Syuri vs. Konami: * (disappointed in this decision. It could have been a banger.) Maika vs. Tora: ***1/2 Natsupoi(C) vs. SLK - Wonder Title: ****1/2 Nakano(C) vs. Kamitani - World Title: ****1/2
6430.12.2024ChocoboSage8.0Probably the best Stardom show of the year, and maybe the best crowd in a while too. The tourists in town helped for sure, as many travel to Japan for this run of shows in December/January. But a really good show and several title changes, mostly positive results too. The only real negative, would be the Syuri/Konami match which just didn't happen for whatever reason. But the debut of Maya Fukuda was interesting and joining Gods Eye. Still not 100% convinced by the booking overall, but I liked most of this show and have hopes for AZM vs Mayu. Will be interesting to see how things go in 2025.

7630.12.2024Reinhard Lohengramm8.0This was a pretty good show with one dud of a match. I'd say Saori/Mika, Natsuko/Maika, Poi/SLK and Saya/Tam are all worth checking out. With Poi/SLK being match of the night
7829.12.2024StrongStyle20209.0Have become disillusioned with the current state of pro wrestling the last year or more, but this show made me remember why I fell in love with it in the first place. The co-main between Natsupoi and Starlight Kid was incredible, and final 10+ minutes the most emotionally invested i've been for a match all year, and had me hook, line and sinker on at least half a dozen occasions for the superb false finishes. Starlight Kid finally winning a big one and fully deserved. Beforehand, the pre show match involving the talented Ranna and the brilliant Kurara made me hopeful for the future, the latter having the selling, storytelling and underdog babyface mastery far superior of peers with 10+ years experience over her, and so called greats. Tam vs Saya was everything I wanted it to be, with 5 years worth of stories being tied together, yet leaving a want for more, and potential very hot title match main event rematch between them in 2025, potentially at All Star Grand Queendom. Maika vs Natsuko overdelivered and even though i've become more than jaded by all the usual No DQ gimmick matches seen across the world that give deja vu, it felt very unique and was entertained from start to finish. My only disappointment was the Syuri vs Konami (non)match, if that had been allowed to go ahead and fulfill it's potential, this would be the closest Stardom event to reach as many highs for me as the 5 Star GP Final masterpiece in 2022, which was the best event seen so far this decade. Despite all the challenges they had to overcome over the past 12 months, full credit for how they've rebounded the second half of the year and got back on track. Today gave so many reasons for optimism, while also serving as a brilliant reset with several title changes and refreshing the scene.
7929.12.2024Gabratta8.0I looked at this show with a "make it or break it" attitude: STARDOM didn't have a good run this year, mainly because of the Marigold fallout and some sketchy booking decisions, with the 5* final day being the perfect example of that, which dampened my enthusiasm for the promotion. Luckily Dream Queendom was a damn good show: not perfect, as I don't understand the meaning behind Syuri vs. Konami (which I had a lot of hype for), but it's the best show of the year from them. Do not sleep on Sayaka Kurara vs. Ranna Yagami, a very good rookies match, and definetly do not miss the last three matches, with the main event being the MOTN for me with its great storytelling, followed by Maika-Tora and Poi vs. Kitto (if you aren't into hardcore/deathmatch wrestling you can switch these last two bouts). While STARDOM had a rocky 2024, this show made me excited and interested for the new year to come.
8029.12.2024Suzukigun8.0A long but honestly very good show to cap off a turbulent year for Stardom. Things looked bleak in the early months of 2024 after all the Rossy departure stuff was happening, and fans were worried about a potential exodus, but the company found a way to rebound. Even if certain booking decisions were way out there and didn't click for me, to the point that I largely tuned out over the past few months, this show was a great one to reflect on how much Stardom may have gotten right en route to 2025. All the title matches were at least good if not great, the title changes were all welcome ones and there isn't a single result that I can complain about. The multi-woman tags were at least fun, and the three way tag was short and filled its role well. Ranna vs. Sayaka also deserves a shoutout, as it showed how far the rookies have come in their first year. The only complaint is the horrific handling of Syuri vs. Konami, which never seems to go the way fans want it to. It was a big match that became an angle, to the point where one has to wonder if we'll ever get a resolution. It's the only reason why I'm not giving this show a 9 or a 10. Still, this show, and Okada in general, deserve credit for how everything else went. It's arguably the best Okada era PPV to date, and is the perfect way to cap off 2024 for the company. Regardless of one may feel about some of the decisions this year, this show got me excited for Stardom's 2025, and I can't ask for much more than that.
