[8.0] "Pretty good episode of Nitro, which features Hulk Hogan losing to Lex Luger, the return of Eddie Guerrero, The Steiners brawling with Harlem Heat, and a company wide brawl at the end with The Four Horsemen, Piper, DDP, Sting, and the nWo fighting while the Blood Runs Cold guys just beat up each other."

[7.0] "An alright episode with a great Lucha rules tag match, while Wright/Jericho and Malenko/Jarrett weren't exactly the best. And a wild brawl with the whole locker room coming out to close it out, and also Sting coming down on a harness to a massive pop. This was all so awesome it saved it for me."

[9.0] "Great show. We start with some crazy announcements talking about a Outsiders V Piper/Flair and Luger V Hogan. The Lucha 6 Man was a fun match as usual, Luger and Hogan happened at the end of hour 1. Luger wins but isn't declared the winner since the ref was beat up prior to the finish. Every single feud in the company is worked over and culminates into the main event where everyone brawls with each other. NWO ends up on top, with Sting coming out after. Super entertaining Nitro that might close as the #1 show since the first Nitro. Every angle done to a tee."

[5.0] "An above average Nitro -- the best one in a while. It didn't have many good matches, but the angles, segments, and 'moments' picked up that slack. The opening angle with DDP attacking Savage in the nWo Limo was cool but brushed over far too quickly. The 6-man lucha tag was a mindless and occasionally quite sloppy car crash, but it was still enjoyably chaotic and featured a few pretty cool stunts. A rare truly 'good' Nitro match. ***1/4. Luger's promo calling out Hogan for a title match got a nice pop, but that failing to come to fruition really sucked. Piper and Flair's backstage promos were enjoyably hyped up. Jericho vs Wright was poor. Wright dominated in mediocre fashion for ages while Jericho got some mostly underwhelming comebacks, and then Wright stole the win with an illegal, rope-assisted pin. **. Hokuto vs Malia was a super quick squash, but it was worth it because Hokuto showed nice aggression and physicality, especially with those DISGUSTING Northern Lights Bombs. TS;NR (too short; no rating). Madusa's post-match attack on Hokuto with a series of German Suplexes was also pretty damn cool. The Steiners' segment/brawl with Harlem Heat was alright. I'm actually interested in a match between them (if they're given enough time and not shackled with terrible booking, that is). Greene jumping Mongo to initiate a messy brawl, while Konnan was laid out in the ring by an unknown person, was forgettable. Hogan and Bischoff's arrogant heel promos were good, though Luger's confrontation was pretty underwhelming from all 3. The impromptu Hogan vs Luger was quick and unspectacular but actually still alright because of the (relative) intensity they both showed. TS;NR. Luger beating Hogan clean (! ! ! ) only to immediately get beaten down by the nWo and treated like a total afterthought was really disappointing. Dillon announcing the no-DQ stipulations for Savage vs DDP at the PPV was cool, and Savage and DDP erupting into a big brawl would've been fun if it wasn't immediately cut short by an ad break. Malenko vs Jarrett was fine. I always enjoy Malenko's technical work and aggression, but he needs the right opponent for that style to look the best, and although Jarrett was a solid partner, he wasn't the best to make Malenko truly shine. Eddie's interference with the Frog Splash was actually pretty cool, since it might be the first ever sign of us getting the now iconic cool badass heel Eddie. **1/2. Sullivan's return was fine, and the resulting brawl with Benoit and the Faces of Fear was fun for the short time it lasted. Nash & Hall vs Flair & Piper was an okay 'punch-kick' brawl that quickly ended in DQ. At least a nice preview of their PPV match, but not worth much on its own. TS;NR. The big post-match mass brawl, involving even non-nWo/4H guys, was overkill in an enjoyable way, highlighting WCW's many ongoing and interweaving feuds and capping off with Sting's sick entrance and exit."

[10.0] "What a awesome Nitro this was.the cruiserweight trios match was once again incredible and Super Calo gets a feud with LA Parka. Alex Wright slowly getting that push against Jerucho as a a heel. Kennan gets sneak attacked but no one saw it. Lugar getting a big win over Hogan. Jarret wins but Eddie Guerrero returns and turned Heel. Oh I forgot Mudasa put her career on the line for the belt. The main event was the only disappointment but I got one hell of a brawl."

[10.0] "TOP notch episode of Nitro! If you want in ring action, there's a killer lucha match to open the show. If you want major happenings, Luger actually get Hogan in the ring and even makes him submit! You want that signature out of control late 90s feeling? There's a roster wide brawl at the end of the show that really rocks. Awesome episode."
