[6.0] "The opener had fine decent action, but with both teams being virtual unknown to the crowd, it made for a timid atmosphere that felt off. Excellent/Acid was slow and sloppy, but the result feels like a genuine surprise and effectively squeezed the credibility left in Trent Acid to a good use. Moore/Fantastico had an aggressive approach that felt refreshing and showed a glimpse of the heights that Egotistico Fantastico could achieve after ditching his limiting character, but the match remained anchored down by Devon Moore's limited abilities, and all that ridiculous superpush of Egotistico Fantastico has now been plundered empty by Notorious Inc. of all people. The Trios Match was wild and messy, but a bit too goofy and midcard to carry the gravitas of the story they want to tell, especially with such a weak finish. Blood/McBride was am awful match between two inept wrestlers who tried to wrestle way above their means and ended up making a mess of everything, effectively killing the Junior Heavyweight Division for the time being. Callihan/Kingston was a great compact battle that felt big despite the short duration and elevates Sami Callihan to a new level. BLKOUT/Best was a cool sprint that made the most of its short duration and exciting, but such a personal feud could have for once used a little more shenanigans to better set their bigger rematch at the beginning of 2010. Drake/B-Boy was exaggerated, over-the-top and and a weak finish, but their pace was frenetic and the incredible enthusiasm of the crowd gave a special atmosphere that builds up to a very much anticipated rematch in 2010. Despite a definite lull in the midcard, this was a show that went generally well, with matches that had upsides and downsides but served a purpose and got a good reaction from the fans, being especially effective in building up bigger matches for the end of 2009 and the beginning of 2010, a desirable outcome and a good step forward for CZW."
