"Not a show comment guy, but the opening had Okada fog up his championship to shine it and then he saw his face in the gold and he went, "Haha, nice." Unironically more character than they have given him in his whole run so far in one throwaway Collision promo opening."
[5.0] "Nah I can't the show the fact that the learning tree is the main event is so worse man I don't see that and in the rest of the show I no interesting, so I see that only two show more and finally going to see revolution"
[7.0] "Another week and another strong episode of Collision as Revolution did get its final shaping of what's expected to be a fantastic PPV. In-ring wise, it was miles better than the previous week and the segments were apt and intense enough to build respective stories, especially Omega's short yet stern promo."
[6.0] "A nice episode of Collision, which felt like a self-contained wrestling focused show due to competition from the Elimination Chamber event. Easy to watch with multiple good matches. Opener and Main event were my favourites. Garcia and Cole would have been my favourite match but the run in completely took away most of my enjoyment, this should have been a 20-minute draw with the run in coming after the match. (6/10)"
[7.0] "Didn't like FTR taking the loss. I thought Clark Connors showed really well. He has come a long way since I last saw him in ROH in 2019. My favorite Danny Garcia TNT match. He and Cole need to run it back. Huge shocking win for the Queen over my girl Julia Hart. Love Bandido & Hobbs. Put gold on those guys, and stop wasting titles on Jericho and the Death Riders."
"[4.0] I'll chalk it up to AEW just not wanting to put on a good episode of Collision alongside Elimination Chamber. The episode was outright bad, with the only genuinely good moment being the match between Daniel Garcia and Adam Cole. Yeah, it had its pacing issues, but it was still better than everything else--and the crowd agreed, as they were the most engaged during this match. The FTR vs. Undisputed Kingdom match was a typical FTR bout, but one thing I didn't get was Dax Harwood first being all like, "Come on, guys, we respect you, we can't let a dumb ref decision end the match, " and then later grabbing the tights during a pinfall and refusing to shake hands. I don't buy into Wheeler Yuta being dominant--like, yeah, Copeland is old and not as sharp in the ring, but seriously, who's supposed to believe that a pushover like Yuta could actually win? Tony Storm and Kenny's promos were decent. I loved how Storm looked without makeup--so funny! The only thing that bugged me was that Kenny didn't come out to the ring to cut his promo live in front of the crowd. At least Harley made me smile as always. Who even cares about the Revolution pre-show and whatever happens there? Who cares about Shane Taylor and his crew? And who cares about the matches between Julia Hart and Aminata? Two matches in, and I still feel nothing. I don't get why Tony Khan keeps feeding us this crap. The main event was okay, but nothing more than that. I can't remember a single standout moment, and by the day after tomorrow, I won't even recall what the main event of Collision was. To be honest, while watching the show, I kept thinking, "Why am I even watching this? ""
"A very easy to watch show. Every match was at the minimum solid, and the tag match was awesome, and the TNT title match was heading that way before the crap finish."
[7.0] "strong show with a lot of positives on it, liked kyle and roddy vs ftr, and them seemingly building an ftr heel turn is big for me because they haven't been heel since 2021 and i think they work better that way anyway, yuta and willie was a nice squash match to get yuta's story going into revolution over, swerve and clark was fun and nice to see my boy 100 proof get onto aew tv and kill it, the stp squash was nice to see bc i love stp and seeing them get booked strong on tv again is fun for me, this also ties into cole vs garcia which feels like cole is finally back to his pre undisputed kingdom quality of work and garcia put his pull in to make a quality match with stp interfering, aminata and julia felt a little different from last week, which worked, and building to brody and okada is super interesting, the main was fine but it was nice to see hobbs get his hometown win, overall good show with a lot of strong points and nothing all too week"
[9.0] "Really enjoyed this episode. Show opened with Kyle O'Reilly & Roderick Strong facing FTR, after their great trios match on Dynamite ended with a shock pin by Adam Cole. The match started good, then had a strange false finish gimmick, with the ref missing a leg on the ropes and FTR, who had won because of it, requesting the match get restarted. After that, it really got good. Lot of strong back and forth action, different submission holds, but in the end, blocking a shatter machine allowed Roddy & Kyle to hit their High-Low Combination for the win. After, FTR refused to shake their hands. Happy with that, FTR work better as heels in my personal opinion. After that, we got a really good, short Willow vignette about taking out Marina Shafir that I liked. The next match was Wheeler Yuta vs Willie Mack. I was sad that Mack was gonna get squashed, but I was then happily surprised at how competitive the match was! It served three purposes, those being 1. Showing how Yuta has improved, 2. Showing Willie Mack's talents, and 3. Selling that Yuta is rattled after all his compatriots outside of Mox were taken out. Post match, Mox comes out and tells Yuta that he's facing Cope this Wednesday, and he's not gonna let Cope leave on his own power. Backstage, we saw Mercedes Moné, who was interrupted by Billie Starks, who handed back the TBS championship her and Momo had absconded with on Dynamite, before throwing tea in Mercedes face and running off. Good segment, happy to see Billie on AEW TV. We then got a Toni Storm vignette setting up both the stakes and the stipulation for her and Mariah's Hollywood Ending at Revolution. Swerve Strickland vs Clark Connors was up next, and it delivered! Clark Connors has been great in NJPW, and it was cool to see him get this opportunity. Good, competitive, but Swerve finished things clean and vicious in the leadup to his rematch with Ricochet. We got a little bit of extra Wednesday footage, showing The Outrunners being happy about getting a title shot, while Hurt Syndicate tell em' to stay healthy until the match, because they'll end up hurt. We also got a fun Harley Segment, where she coined her finishing move's name, and a couple backstage segments to setup Big Boom AJ's Zero Hour match. The next match was STP destroying some local talent. I love STP, so I'm very happy whenever they get used on AEW TV actively. After their match, Adam Cole came out for his TNT Championship, walking past them, and it looked like they felt disrespected. Daniel Garcia came out next, and, man, both men needed this match, and it was so good! Adam Cole has finally reached his pre-injury level, and Daniel Garcia felt inspired. The best spot of the entire night was Adam having to fight through the ankle lock repeatedly almost beating him. In the end, though, STP, feeling ignored, attacked both men, forcing a No Contest. Will Shane Taylor face for the TNT Championship? Time will tell. After this, we had a rare week to week rematch, in Queen Aminata facing Julia Hart once again. This match felt like both women figured out the pace they wished to work at, and how to ramp things up, quite nicely. The finish was really good, and it was great to see Queen Aminata get a big TV win! Brody King came out to check on Julia after, but, earlier in the night, he and Okada had a confrontation. Clearly, Okada took that as a taunt, and attacked him here while his back was turned. Hope we see this, either on Revolution or soon after! We heard from Kenny Omega after this, and he eloquently spoke about how he was feeling going into Revolution, and how, after all this time, nothing is distracting him from his goal, which is the International Championship. The main event was Bandido & Powerhouse Hobbs vs Big Bill & Bryan Keith, and it was a lot of fun. Collision was in Hobbs' hometown, and the crowd treated him good! Really fun tag, and, honestly, Bandido & Hobbs felt like a natural tag team. They got the win, and the fans were sent home happy. Great show!"
[6.0] "A perfectly watchable episode even if it lacks anything really big or memorable happening. The opener made use of a few oldschool tropes I don't know if I've ever seen in AEW and I didn't mind that. I'm interested in seeing if there's any kind of end goal to this Bullet Club Wardog crossover (Gabe is a safe bet for Forbidden Door in the UK this year, but that's a while away). Garcia showed more fire and aggression than he has in a while which I thought was a positive change. To me, he's a guy who has floundered stylistically since moving away from being a ZSJ-like submission wrestler. The sports-entertainer phase solidified that move and his style has lacked distinction since. Not to mention his endless dipping into the trios division which is a black hole all should try to avoid. Speaking of which, the most negative part of this episode were the hints and teases of several feuds moving into trios territory. In my ideal world, having the trios belts offscreen for so long would have been used as a chance to minimise the division - preferrably removing its status as a fulltime division altogether. That would probably help the tag division and create more room for women's tag belts. This Kenny stuff is still weird but it's my thrown together theory that either Kenny was hurt from that botched rana in Australia or he doesn't feel up to wrestling often, and that they've used this tournament thing to scramble and keep things moving. Chances are that Kenny was supposed to win a qualifier match for the title."
[7.0] "Good TV show, as Collision has been for the most part in 2025, with some storyline developments (mostly for midcard stories, but that's okay) a couple of really good matches. I especially like that the tag team division is ramping up again after it had been going downhill for much of 2024. The opener was really good."
[9.0] "Colllision didn't really progress anything but it did sort of hint at some directions and was just a lot of fun overall, we got a couple of great matches from the Undisputed boys with FTR and Garcia. Queen Aminata finally got a win in what was one of the most exciting developments in the women's division for me in like a long time. Kenny Omega and Toni Storm cut really effective promos, and the main event was lots of fun with the hometown boy getting the shine and the win. It didn't have THAT unforgettable moment but I had no problems with anything on the show, the crowd was hot and all non squash matches were prettty good"
[8.0] "The streak of very good Dynamite and Collision continues with this episode! Awesome opener that reminds me FTR once did a 50+ minutes match with Jay White & Juice Robinson on a Collision, this time it is a 15 minutes flawless action against Roddy Strong and KOR, loved the first ropebreak finish and restart, the 4 guys wrestles like they share the same brain, great match! FTR still proving they're one of the best tag ever. Swerve Strickland showed his more vicious side against NJPW's Clark Connors in a good match, too bad Ricochet wasn't around. Adam Cole and Daniel Garcia cooked some delicious match right here, both their best singles since a long time! Garcia had some attitude I needed to see sooner in his TNT championship reign, I'm not mad at the double DQ finish for this excellent performance that lit the crowd on fire (that ankle lock moment was fire) I imagine it's gonna be a multi man for the title at Revolution? I need to see a rematch for Cole/Garcia. Aminata/Julia Hart II waaaay better than the first time, Aminata have a cool looking full nelson with her leg that should be her submission finisher, looks like it's gonna be Queen Aminata vs Serena Deeb in a pure style match, love that! Powerhouse Hobbs got the main event in his hometown, they popped huge for him, fun little tag match to close this action packed show. My only complaint would be that it lacked some big players energy, for example Omega only had a short pre taped promo, same with Toni Storm, Collision needs to feel more important."
[8.0] "AEW continues with the streak of great shows with another really good episode of Collision. UK vs. FTR was a really good opening match. I hope they can run it back as they can put on an even better match than this one. Yuta/Moxley angle was good. Moxley is clearly desparate as he is left without most of his team and tells Yuta to take out Copeland. Toni Storm's little promo from his bedroom was really good despite being like 90 seconds long. This woman is just sublime in whatever she does. Swerve vs. Connors was solid. Not the best way to re-introduce Connors to the AEW audience but a solid match nontheless. Garcia vs. Cole was great. Garcia is great and Cole is finally found its footing again after the lackluster MJF feud. Shame it ended the way it did but I'm glad they're allowing Moriarty to shine. Would love to see a rematch between Cole and Garcia though. Aminata vs. Julia was solid, much better than their previous encounter. Aminata looked amazing here, hope this victory leads to some serious push. Learning Tree vs. Hobbs/Bandido was a great main event. Crowd was hot and the action was fun. Bill and Keith (without Jericho) actually are a fire team and the link-up between Hobbs and Bandido worked well. Hobbs keeps looking like a star. Overall: three great matches as the highlight of a really fun show. All the matches were enjoyable and the stories keep moving in the right direction."
"Enjoyable show. The meatfest at the end was great, same with Swerve vs. Clark. The first match between FTR and Undisputed Kingdom was also great. Only one I wasn't super into was Daniel vs. Adam Cole but I just don't like Daniel Garcia much. Also, nice to see Willie Mack back! Great as ever!"
