[5.0] "Lot of squash matches on this and very average matches. The main event was good and Jericho kept up most of the match but man it was so slow at the start and it lost my attention. The opener was allright but we've seen these 2 face each other multiple times and each time Mortos loses."

[7.0] "As a show, the matches were good enough but not as must-see as in the last few episodes. However, the segments/squashes carried the quality to the next level, especially the massive opening assault by Mariah May. Every other storyline has met significant progress to pique more interest and if this is the level of pace that would be worked around, Revolution would be a fantastic PPV to watch out for."

[7.0] "1) I was happy to see Gabe Kidd on my screen last Saturday Night. Obviously, his next home will be AEW. This man is real. Him against Eddie Kingston would be a sight to behold. Two men whom no one told that wrestling isn't real. 2) I was surprised to see the feud between Mariah May and Toni Storm to continue. I don't mind it, though. Because once again, their segment stole the show. I think Mariah recaptures the title at Revolution causing Toni Storm to retire the "Timeless" gimmick for real this time. OG Toni Storm is the best Toni Storm, anyway. I'm not fan of "Timeless" Toni Storm at all. 3) This episode lacked good wrestling matches, though. If not for the Women's World Championchip picture segment, the show would have been rarther dull. Ah, and Cope squashing Pac's head was fun too."

[9.0] "AEW's hot streak continues, and if anything, continues to argue against the promotion's creative woes being TK's fault, as this is the time of year where he isn't distracted by his other jobs (let's just hope Fulham don't make a major push for the European spots, then). Incredibly well-structured show, and if you can get a good match out of Chris Jericho in 2025, well, you're doing something very right."

[7.0] "A nice episode of Collision, probably a touch below the standard AEW has set over the past few weeks. First hour was great, Toni & Mariah setting up the final match in their trilogy was fantastic. Hologram returns and does not miss a beat - this was my MOTN. Mike Bailey confirmed to be coming in and continued development in both the tag and trio's division. Nothing bad on the rest of the show - but nothing else standout. (7/10)"

Since they're wrapping up this chapter of their story give them the main event of Revolution and make the match an intense and violent deathmatch. It's the finale that is worthy of this incredible long term feud. Do the right thing bossman, they won't let you down. Also keep the engaging and awesome shows going, it's been extremely consistent for a while now and you see the positive buzz building up. This show was another solid one aside from the awesome opening segment. Jericho and Bandido had a good match in the main event, women's and the lucha match was decent and a fun promo from Harley. Hope to see the momentum going in the right way."

[8.0] "Good Collision that had some important stuff for a pre taped show. I like the idea of the Mariah/Toni Storm opener segment, but for once I thought the delivery was a miss from Mariah May, the rematch billed as the "Hollywood Ending" is so cool. Julia Hart vs Aminata was a weak match but I liked the submission ending with that "flying octopus" I don't like the fact that we all know the outcome of the 2 championships matches in this show, I really want to see the Death Riders and Jericho lose so I need to be locked in, but they did something very good, first with the trio championships, the aftermatch when Cope is taking out PAC with 2 con-chairto! Now I want to see if he's gonna do that to every Death Riders members before Revolution. Then the ROH championship main event was so good that I'm not even mad at Jericho winning, he did a good job for his age and Bandido is phenomenal. Hologram vs Beast Mortos was an awesome lucha libre match and then they aired a Speedball Mike Bailey vignette, which is crazy and now makes everyone dream about the future bangers we could have! I also loved Hurt Syndicate and especially MVP making deals, they look so cool. Anyway this is once again a successful weekly show for AEW, the PPV in 2 weeks will probably be another all timer show!"

"Strong opener and main event. Another great segment from Mariah/Storm. The trios match wasn't the best but the aftermath was pretty good, looks like Undisputed Vs Death Riders for the Trios belts at Revolution which has the potential to steal the show. Caster/Brody had a fun squash and the Julia/Aminata match was decent enough. I hope Bandido gets another chance at the ROH belt, a title switch off Jericho is well overdue at this point. Cool to see Gabe Kidd have a match but it was nothing all that substantial, I wonder where he will find himself on the cards going forward. Average episode overall, not as good as recent weeks. I'd give it a 6.5/10."

[8.0] "So we are getting the rubber match between Toni and Mariah at Revolution, as Mariah jumps Toni to start the show. Great opener between Hologram and Beast Mortos. Harley cuts a great in ring promo, and later in the show she gets called out by Deonna. A forgettable Gabe Kidd match, followed by Julia Hart earning a hard-hitting win over Queen Aminata. Murder Machines win yet another squash match, but it appears they will be facing the Out Runners with a title shot against the Hurt Syndicate on the line, likely at Revolution. The Death Riders successfully defend their Trios Titles against Danny G & 2.0. Brody King squashed Max Caster, and Chris Jericho successfully retains his ROH title against Bandido."

[7.0] "A good show that had some solid matcha and a nice storylines progression. The show kicked off with Mariah May attacking Toni Storm. Their rivalry is one of the best rivalries in AEW's history and at Revolution we might see the final chapter of it. Mortos vs. Hologram was a really good opening match, best match of the night. Harley Cameron promo was short but sweet. She's hell entertaining and I can't wait to see what's next for her. Gabe Kidd had an okay showing against The Butcher. I would've gone for a different opponent to really showcase all of Gabe's ability. Aminata vs. Julia was fine. Aminata's great, hope TK realizes that and pushes her soon. Murder Machines vs. Hurt Syndicate seems a good direction for the tag titles, despite both teams being heels. Speedball Mike Bailey is coming to AEW and that's great news. The guy is just made for AEW and I'm sure he'll be a great player for the company in 2025. Death Riders vs. 2point0 &Garcia was alright. Cope conchairtoed Pac twice in the post-match as he looks to fulfill his promess of taking out every member of the Death Riders before Revolution. Jericho vs. Bandido was good. Best Jericho match since that Moxley match in 2022. Bandido with one of the greatest carrying jobs since Samoa Joe vs. Hook last year. A shame he lost. Overall: good opener, good main event, stuff in the middle was decent. A couple of well done angles. Good show."
Hangman Adam Pierce wrote on 23.02.2025:
[6.0] "Middle of the road show with some decent action. Positives include follow up for Harley Cameron as well as the Toni Storm/Mariah May angle. Mortos and Hologram had solid outing to open the show. It wasn't as good as the previous times they were out there but there was still fun to be had there. I thought commentary was weak on this show and generally speaking the wrestling on the rest of the show ranged from mediocre to fine. Bandido individually did look good in the main event."
MaveDeltzer wrote on 23.02.2025:
[4.0] "I thought this was a pretty bad episode. If you look at the average ratings, you'll see that the match-quality hinges on the main event and the opener. If you didn't like either of them, you probably won't like this episode. For me, the opener was the definition of that "Top Rope Fuckinator" meme where none of the big moves have any kind of impact. They hit each other with everything until there's nothing left and then it ends with a roll-up, and then Mortos is right back on his feet to continue the attack. Nothing mattered at all. The main event was plodding and boring with no less than three double-down spots practically back to back. The matches between weren't anything interesting and we got a promo package for Moxley vs Copeland in which there were no shots of Moxley carrying the belt or looking like a champ because the belt has been locked away for months on end. You're supposed to want to see the belt again, to cheer when someone wins it and holds it up, but right now this angle is making matches for the top belt in the company look like they're just regular matches."

[8.0] "This was not as good as recent TV episodes AEW put on recently but wasn't at all bad. The first hour was pretty good and the building of the tag team division continues to be solid as hell. There was some decent follow up on both Okada and Harley Cameron and it feels that it general they're trying to plug in the holes and stop any logical mistakes. Hologram vs Mortos was very good, Gabe Kidd's introduction is intriguing and I wonder if him and Takeshita will switch places after Revolution. Harley was fantastic once again and so was Kyle. The coming angle was great as well and seems to be setting up the deciding match in the trilogy of Toni/Mariah. I hope they get granted a proper gimmick match. The trios match and post match angle was meh to me but it SEEMS like the live crowd is into Cope at the moment so that's fine I guess. Overall it was a fun easy watch but not like an all timer or anything like that."

[7.0] "The best bits of this week's Collision were right at the start, with Mariah May's attack on Toni Storm followed by Hologram vs. Mortos. There were other developments, like Cope taking out PAC, Kyle Fletcher accepting the cage match against Will Ospreay, Speedball Mike Bailey announced to be coming in, and seeds of The Outrunners challenging the Hurt Syndicate, but this show had too many squashes, and the rest of the matches weren't necessarily must see."

[9.0] "Another solid edition of Collision! The opening with Toni and Mariah set the stage well enough for the rubber at Revolution. Hologram and Mortos had my match of the night, but I also significantly enjoyed watching Brody King kill Max Caster. Harley continues to be one of the highlights of AEW programming with her very entertaining segments. My only real complaint would be that the Death Riders once again killed the show; I even enjoyed JERICHO more than I enjoyed watching them steal another win. Overall, however, I was very entertained by this edition of Collision!"

[8.0] "Despite the opening segment which was totally rotten and left a sour taste in my mouth due to the most hammy fake acting I've seen in wrestling this year, the show rarely put a foot wrong after that. A great Lucha opening match, solid progression of angles, a great squash match with the Butcher, and an excellent Jericho singles match. The Max Caster open challenge also continues to be fun. I actually enjoyed the Death Riders bit as well. Are we back? Nah. But we've been moving in the right direction for a month or so and this was a Collision worth going out of your way to see."

[9.0] "I've been a weekly viewer of AEW since the start, watching all of the shows, and it really feels like they are hitting another hot streak. Tonight's show wasn't buoyed by anything insane, but rather a lot of really good wrestling, and a LOT of good story progression in the leadup to their Revolution PPV! The show opened with a surprise attack by Mariah May on Toni Storm, that got me excited for their third match in this trilogy at Revolution. Considering the show is in LA, and the Toni Storm character being a classical starlet, the Hollywood Ending angle makes perfect sense. After that, we got the next entry in the rivalry between Hologram and The Beast Mortos. Hologram doesn't look like he's missed a step in his injury recovery, which is surely aided by fighting The Beast Mortos, a man I believe he's meant to face for the rest of his career. Amazing back and forth match, won by Hologram, who was attacked by Mortos after. Komander saving Hologram confirmed they are headed in a tag direction for both men, which is great, because they immediately feel like a great combo. Harley Cameron came out next, speaking for the first time since her loss in Australia. She is very over, and made clear that her loss hasn't dismayed her! After that, NJPW's Gabe Kidd entered to a nice pop, facing The Butcher (one of my favorite under carders). They matched up well, with Gabe Kidd winning with a beauty of a piledriver. I wonder if he's sticking around in AEW? During the match, we saw Don Callis watching from the back. After, he and Kyle Fletcher spoke to Lexy Nair, who asked if they were accepting Ospreay's challenge for the steel cage match, which they did. Julia Hart vs Queen Aminata was next, which was Hart's best match since returning so far. Queen Aminata and Julia Hart have good chemistry, they should follow up on it at some point! Murder Machines entered to face some local talent, destroying them quickly, before calling out The Hurt Syndicate. The Hurt Syndicate entered, and made clear that beating local talent didn't impress them! Instead, they feel that they need to face a real team, and, if they win, they get the title shot. (Later in the night, The Outrunners were doing a fun promo before The Hurt Syndicate happened upon them, and they asked to be the other team in the #1 Contenders match, which Hurt Syndicate accepted.) After this, we got a great vignette from Action Andretti and Lio Rush, who are officially CRU. Excited for what they do next! Daniel Garcia & 2.0 faced Death Riders next, in the match that kept this show at a 9 instead of a 10. I enjoyed this match overall, but felt the first half was slow and not amazingly interesting. It heated up in the second half, however, due to good babyface work from Garcia and friends, along with The Death Riders getting better and better heat as of late. Death Riders retained, but Undisputed intervened to prevent a post-match beatdown after. Mox showed up, ready to criticize his fellow Death Riders for running, before Cope's music hit to a BIG pop. He began his mission of taking out the Death Riders, hitting Pac with two massive con-chair-tos. Really good segment, feels like Cope & Mox is finally heating up. After this, we got a interview with The Vendetta, who are targeting Harley Cameron after she prevented both of them from challenging for the TBS Championship on the path to Grand Slam. Next up, Max Caster issued his open challenge (I love this open challenge angle, and feel it's been the perfect use of him), and Brody King answered. He shook Max's hand, and beating him in under 2 minutes in a fun squash. Now, we reach the main event, Chris Jericho vs Bandido. Jericho performed the best he has in years! Bandido is one of the best in the world, so this match ended up being very good! Jericho won with a roll-up after a very 50/50 match, which leads me to believe there'll be a rematch down the line. All in all, an amazing show that did the job of building up the card (and the hype) for Revolution exactly how I wanted it!"

[9.0] "I still don't want to say AEW is all the way back because we are still missing some action for some key players (Briscoe, Hayter, Private Party), but AEW has been absolutely on a role again recently and with these type of shows where you're just getting so much story and action through you can't help but feel excited, the Toni Storm/Mariah May angle especially has been a premier highlight of AEW as of recent, these two women are having one of the greatest womens feuds of all time, great show with The Beast Mortos/Hologram, Speedball vignette, Harley Cameron getting some mic time, great all around."
