[7.0] "Decent show not so sure about Claudio beating Hechicero in the main event tho, the rest of the card was solid nothing special but Flip vs Rocky was easily the match of the night"
[6.0] "A solid show. Flip Gordon/Rocky Romero ended up my match of the night. The main event was enjoyable although the ending was not great. Deonna/Catalina may have been better if it were shorter. Pretty solid otherwise."
[4.0] "You know how people on social media like to use the expression "read the room" when criticizing decisions of certain promotions? Well, this phrase would fit perfectly for this show. Read the room, CMLL! Your fans don't want to see your boys looking like dorks! That's what they did in the main event. Claudio was supposed to hit a low blow on Hechicero, like a dastardly heel, but the fans didn't want that. They wanted to see a proper dream match. Volador Jr. vs Pac didn't hit the way it should have. Deonna vs Catalina, oh my goodness, that was a disaster. Deonna worked like she expected the fans to quiet down and then cheer the babyface while she's in a submission, a la american crowds. Think of the classic sleeper hold spot where the face eventually beats the ref's count and starts coming back to life, with the crowd clapping along as the face hits elbows and eventually breaks out of the hold with a back suplex. Deonna and Catalina were going for something like that, but this does NOT work in Arena Mexico. The crowd just turned against the match. It shows that Deonna had 0 preparation for this, and I have no idea why Catalina didn't call for a more active match. At least call things on the fly once it's clear that the match ain't working! In general, the big matches flopped, barring Flip Gordon vs Rocky Romero. The women's matches were all a miss. Not a good day to be an amazonas bro...There was some hard work. There was not a lot of good booking."
