[4.0] "An enhancement edition of NJPW Strong here with a number of New Japan talents being on the show because New Japan had a show the day after when most of these matches were taped. The matchmaker for TKROH should have their head examined. Shingo rarely wrestles in the US anymore yet the best opponent they can give him is Ariya Daivari who essentially always loses to anyone he is paired against? Ishii against Mike Bennett felt similarly nonsensical in that it had no relation to Ishiis upcoming match with Chris Jericho (why would he not wrestle someone like Bryan Keith instead? ) The STP tag was decent as was the main event (although why AR Fox is getting another title shot when he almost exclusively loses is anyones guess.) Oh, Final Battle is also less than a month away and this show had essentially zero bearing on that show. 4/7 of the matches had a New Japan talent in it that chances are will not be on Final Battle. The previous weeks episode felt a bit more focused while that focus was lost on this week. The show continues to be the least fulfilling major weekly show to watch in the US as an 18 year old match from a significantly better version of ROH was the best match of the episode."
