[3.0] "I found this show to be really boring. The scramble was fine but going into this show not knowing who anyone is and having no graphics didn't help but I was impressed by Troy Parker. The next two matches were boring. Swann vs Lince was probably match of the night. Everything else was rather boring and even Nick Gage's return felt lackluster. Also I was not a fan of the commentary on this show and the crowd were quiet for most of the show including the main event"

[5.0] "I really did enjoy the scramble match and would put it at 7, it was a decent spotfest. As far as the whole event goes it turns 5, 5 when I combine all my ratings. As of the time of this review, the whole event is rated above 5, 5, I am putting the 5 points score. Returning to CZW can be weird at times, but in 2025, it just felt... off. The best match of the evening had no ounce of "hardcory" to it and despite the fact that this has happened before, the whole event felt somewhat.. uninspired. Maybe I am biased given what I expect CZW to be(Old man yell at clouds - "Back in my day"), but it was not what I expected it to be. Decent show... just could have been better. Way better."

[5.0] "They tried. The opening battle royal was completely unnecessary. They new venue looks great, now if they could get a decent crowd in there I believe it would be a fantastic visual. The cage has been very lackluster from years past and definitely reduces the match quality. a better selection for the main could have been made for its first year back like the entire 4 way perhaps. Maybe next year."

[5.0] "The scramble was decent I guess, though I wasn't paying much attention, but it's good their young wrestlers were all featured, though I didn't care for the winner at all, I'm sure some of the other participants are better 5/10 Female tag team match was enjoyable as well, with one of the ladies betraying her partner 6/10 Griffin match started off well then it dragged on too long, it was saved by the amounts of blood he then shed, which got the crowd back in it, I enjoyed it 6/10 Swann v Dorado was good, started off goofy but improved as the match went on 8/10 Tag team match was decent, I like how milk chocolate were heeling it up although the match itself was nothing special 5/10 That fatass champion absolutely sucks, never heard of Pratt either but he seemed decent, should have been him and Kenta. McCoy interferes and costs Kenta the victory, lardy retains, at least it didnt drag on too long 5/10 Up next some of the worst shitters in wrestling history come out, I've seen them all in XPW and I know just how bad they are, after a night of mostly good wrestling we have JJ and Redacted, two fully untrained backyarders and Duran and Dimitri, two barely trained deathmatch nobodies, this included every single idiotic spot you'd imagine, nothing made sense at all, no flow, no nothing, just idiotic and overly contrived spots, why would you not bludgeon someone's head in with a hatchet in a no rules deathmatch instead of just gently scraping it against the guy's forehead? Why are you just standing there letting the other crackhead put lighttubes in your shirt then wait a further 30 secs for him to climb the top rope and jump on you? They couldnt even do a simple slam on that firecracker table for the finish, and weedwhackers in 2024? GTFO, that thing should have been retired after Mondo took it 20+ years ago. Duran wins and gets assaulted by some chubby 5ft5 bum 1/10 Mickie Knuckles v Fat Joe Dred was the main event, they had some ghetto looking 'cage' set up for it. match was nothing special as neither can really wrestle, also them headbutting each other for real and taking chair shots to the head does not make them tough, it makes them stupid. They then slowly climb up the cage, have a friendly conversation about jumping on 3 or something, they then drop down onto a light tube covered table, ref counts to 3 but he doesnt know who won as both had their shoulders down. Dred is ruled as the winner in anticlimatic fashion. Nick Gage comes out looking like a 80yo crackhead. Dred and his manager pretend they are scared of this decrepit bum and leave the ring 2/10 The show was good until some of the worst deathmatch ''wrestlers'' currently in the circuit were introduced. You can have compelling matches in this style if you know what you're doing, which clearly these people don't. Knuckles, Dred, Duran, JJ have more or less killed XPW and now for their big comeback CZW has them in their main events? Come on now. Commentary ranged from bad to decent, the lady was OK when she was calm but whenever something big happened she was yelling and squealing, couldnt understand a word she said, the other guy sounded like some random nasal fan picked from the crowd. Going forward I hope to see more wrestling from young and motivated people and less 45 yo deathmatch goofs hitting each other with things. If you're gonna give this a go, watch until the Kenta match, pretend that's the main even then turn the show off cause what followed was beyond abysmal."

[8.0] "I thought Cage of Death 22 was sick. I didn't care for the opening match Scramble but I enjoyed the rest of the show. Probably could have used more deathmatches but hey, it was still a fun watch. Never in a hundred years I thought Jimmy Lloyd and the king Nick Gage would comeback to CZW but then again Jordan Oliver did awhile back. Judge Joe Dred vs. Mickie Knuckles had decent explosions for a change. You did CZW, a fine COD return. Maybe don't do the gauntlet again."

[6.0] "A pretty solid show from CZW bordering on higher if a few things had been tweaked (opening scramble and the world title match could have been better) but there were elements to like here with the show peaking with Rich Swann/Lince Dorado for me. Griffin McCoy/Richard Adonis and the double main event were both enjoyable featuring the CZW return of Nick Gage as well. 6.5"

[6.0] "As a longtime CZW fan that got hooked with the product since the first TOD I have a soft spot in my heart for this promotion, even with its flaws (which are quite a lot, and it showed here), and I looked at the card thinking "hey, it's not a bad card with the state of CZW right now! ", and with the return of Nick F'N Gage I was interested to see what Deej had to show: 1) Starting with the Scramble match, which went too damn long and was one of the poorest booked match of the show; starting a show with half an hour of basic and uninspiring high flying students from the school. I'm all in for reviving the Wired Championship, it's a great idea for showcasing the best talents from the school and maybe top prospects from the USA indy territory but a 21 men scramble #1 contender match? Why all american promotions has this absurd tendency to go ballistic and stuff matches or cards with a lot of people? It has no sense to me...I'd prefered a simple elimination tournament with a 1v1 match for the title, just like the first time they did at COD XI. 5- out of 10 (the minus is for the poor booking/card construction) 2) The womens match had its moments: Jada Stone is pretty athletic and I liked Cosmic's act. But the erratic booking is what ruined the flow for me, as I found the turn done bad and nonsense; quite a shame. 5 out of 10 3) As I said in the match rating, the "grudge match" had no grudge at all in the first minutes...then with the DDT spot they kicked into fifth gear and made a quite enjoyable encounter. 6, 5 out of 10 4) Swann vs. Lince Dorado was the first real good bout of the card, a classic high flying action from two good wrestlers. 8 out of 10 5) The Tag Team Title match was ok, nothing special...but I enjoyed Milk Chocolate's act. 6, 5 out of 10 6) I like KENTA and I liked a lot Desean Pratt back when was Amasis, so I thought these would be a good pairing, and they did well. What ruined the match for me is Eran Ashe: he looked like a bad big man from the '90s WWF gimmick era, something totally anachronistic in (almost) 2025. I'm always tending towards the good in wrestling, but this was not a good match especially because of Ashe. 5 out of 10 7) The 4 way Deathmatch was easily the MOTN. Tarzan Duran was the man of the match (and the rightful choice for the win! ), but the other three participants looked good, especially Dimitri and Dr. Redacted, with the latter really surprising me as I remembered him with the Dr. Cube gimmick. The post-match angle was interesting too, really good stuff here for the deathmatch maniacs. 8 out of 10 8) The COD was ok, far from the great past like COD XI with Sami Callihan and Danny Havoc (RIP), VI or V, but far either from poor CODs like XVI. I wanted blood, hatred and good spots and I had it...they actually nailed it with the explosions (finally! ), something richer promotions never did right (*wink wink AEW Revolution 2021*), and the post-match arrival of Nick Gage actually got me interested for the future of CZW since...2018 maybe. 7, 5 out of 10 OVERALL: Apart from some booking errors, an enjoyable night of wrestling. The peak was the 4 way Deathmatch followed by Swann vs. Lince Dorado and the COD. 6 out of 10"
