[6.0] "A fine episode of Nitro with the continuation of the nWo storyline. The best moment this week was Sting and Luger was supposed to fight Arn Anderson and Ric Flair, but the match doesn't happen as Sting and Luger call an uneasy truce as they want the four to fight the nWo together at War Games instead. There's a fantastic promo exchange between them where we know they don't trust each other, but the Horsemen all accept the terms. There's still a lack of trust around the WCW roster with Nick Patrick again in the spotlight for a controversial call in the DDP vs Chavo match, but to be honest I'm not sure what he was supposed to do differently in that. Malenko vs Regal is a gem but most of the matches was sub 5 minutes so it's not the strongest of cards an the Savage vs Giant match never started although it is fun to see Savage attack him with the chair. nWo have another fun vignette."

Malenko and Regal show off their grappling skills and become match of the night. Public Enemy vs Nasty Boys getting old needs to end, it's been a fun feud though. Chavo gets a huge win over DDP, I hope we get a feud out of this also featuring Eddie. Harlem mow down American males in a quick easy fashion. The main event sets up The Giant vs Savage which has exploded into a brawl with Savage looking like a crazy person."

[8.0] "Another good Nitro, the Luger/Sting and Horsemen segment was pure gold, as was the nWo vignette. As far as matches go my favorite was the short but incredibly smart DDP vs. Chavo, and I also liked Benoit vs. Eaton and Regal vs. Malenko as very solid quick matches. The chaotic finish with Savage attacking the Giant was fun stuff."

[5.0] "Weak episode where the only great point is the in-ring confrontation between the Four Horsemen, Sting and Lex Luger, setting the War Games alliance against the NWO. Except for an enjoyable Steven Regal vs Dean Malenko, the other matches are short and uninspired, with a main event that never starts. There is only one story to follow."
