The main event was, characteristic for WCW TV at the time, primarily designed as an NWO story point and effectively was as much an angle as an actual match. Everything else was very rushed; Konnan vs. Dragon and Eddie vs. DDP were good for the time they had, but far too short to really fulfill their potential. |

Rey Mysterio and Dean Malenko have the best match of the night, DDP and Guerrero a good yet short match, Benoit gets squashed by the Giants in less than 30 seconds, the tag team titles match ends with a non-sense ending, and the main event gets ruined by another run-in. There is some entertainment and the NWO vs WCW angle is great, but it's not an enjoyable show. |

Im Triangle Match gibt es eine DQ die ich so noch nie gesehen habe. DDP gegen Guerrero leider zu kurz und Madusa gegen Nakano nur ein Schatten der WWE Zeiten. Der ME war dann auch nicht gut. Hogan-Ego Geschmeichel. Wäre der Opener nicht gewesen, ich glaube ich würde 0-1 Pkt. geben. |

Und dann kann man eigentich schon wieder den Fernseher abstellen, denn alles was folgt ist nicht der Rede wert. Die nächsten drei Matches sind unwichtig und kurz gebucht, noch dazu kaum ansehbar. Guerrero besiegt Page, aber auch das wird viel zu schnell abgespult, ebenso wie die Tatsache, dass der Giant den zuletzt so seriös dargestellten Benoit in Sekunden begräbt. Damit kommen wir zu einer dünnen Suppe von Tag-Team Championship, welche komplett der offensichtlichen Wankelmütigkeit des nicht mehr ganz neutralen Referees Nick Patrick geopfert wird. Und im Mainer wird das ehemalige Dream-Match zwischen Flair und Hogan per DQ nach nur wenigen Minuten abgefrühstückt. Die Veranstaltung hätte man sich schenken können, das ist nach hinten raus ein Rohrkrepierer allererster Kajüte. |

Die folgenden drei Matches waren allesamt zu kurz um irgendwas zu reißen. Eine nette Flair-Promo folgt dann Backstage - der letzte Hype für das Titelmatch später. DDP-Guerrero ist ein ordentliches Match, nicht mehr, nicht weniger. Die anschließende Attacke nach der Niederlage von DDP war dafür umso besser. Direkt danach kommt Hollywood Hogan raus & hält ebenfalls eine ordentliche Promo. Das Tag-Titlematch ist ganz gut, mit einem kontroversen Finish um Patrick's zukünftige Heel-Rolle zu stärken. Der Main Event dann erwartet leider nicht ganz so gut & endet auch wie erwartet. |

Wallstreet vs. Duggan ist dann so ziemlich das komplette Gegenteil (1/10). Konnan vs. Dragon ist ebenfalls ein Totalausfall (2/10). Die Damen sind zwar bemüht, gehen aber in einem rechten Botchfestival unter (2/10). Guerrero vs. DDP ist dann wieder einigermaßen erträglich (4/10). Benoit wird verjobbt (-1) und so langsam gehen einem die kurzen Matches richtig auf den Senkel. Mit dem Triangle-Match gibt es dann endlich mal wieder etwas Gutes von diesem Clash zu berichten; das blöde Finish passt zumindest in Story um Nick Patrick (7/10). Zuletzt sehen wir einen Main Event, der gar nicht so schlecht ist und ein Kampfende, das man so oder so ähnlich erwarten konnte (6/10). Gesamt: 4, 43. |
