[6.0] "This episode of Collision was decent enough I suppose. Two great matches in Kyle Fletcher vs. Atlantis & AR Fox vs. Ricochet and a lot of fluff elsewhere. The main event was pretty disappointing as an ending too, but I get why it was placed where it was. [MOTN: AR Fox vs. Ricochet]"
[8.0] "Nice opener between Ricochet and AR Fox. Really enjoying the move set freedom in which Ricochet is now allowed to operate with. Kris Stat goes over on Harley Cameron, but week after week Harley does a tremendous job of putting over the other talent. She is one of the unsung heroes of the locker room, and her gimmick is tremendously entertaining. After the match Stat calls out Kamille, in which I am all in on that match, and really like the idea of giving Kamille her own feud separate from Mone. We get a fun trios match next between Private Party and Danny G, against the Premier Athletes. Mark Sterling is hilarious. Then Orange Cassidy beats Bronson in 24 seconds, which is ridiculous. Jamie Hayter and HOB also get squash match wins. Penelope Ford was money on the mic, and has a legit storyline grudge. Love it. We get Kyle Fletcher and Atlantis Jr, which is great since their last match was in Mexico. Solid tag match between LFI and the Outrunners. This was the one match I couldn't predict a winner. BCC successfully defended the Trios titles in the main event against Top Flight, and BCC carnage followed the match."
[7.0] "Really good fast paced episode of Collision this week. 2 fantastic matches in Ricochet Vs AR Fox and Fletcher Vs Atlantis Jr. Nice to seem more actual promos being cut after matches rather than an over reliance on interview segments. One concern is too many squash matches they do not really add anything. Id much rather the 10 minutes competitive match Garcia / Private Party had with The Premier Athletes (who are fantastic in there role) to build to the trios match on Dynamite compare to a pointless 2-minute match that benefits nobody. Orange Cassidy showed great character development here too. Great focus on younger wresters should be Collisions aim moving forward!"
[6.0] "Some good representation of the wider stories within AEW that has been missing from Collision, specifically that of the new BCC, now the Death Riders, embarking on their path to build up the AEW locker room by knocking them down. While there were one-too many enhancement matches on the show for my personal taste, each did well with advancing specific stories or characters. Penelope Ford explained why she attacked Jamie Hayter in the four way, and while her answer is valid, I thought she was joining the Outcasts which would have been a good fit for her, and also makes me wonder where Hayter goes from here, as I assumed she would be the one to take the belt off Mariah May. Kyle Fletcher continues to grow as a performer, as do Top Flight, who showed out against in the main event despite a pretty comprehensive loss. It does confuse me a bit as to why AEW would have them (and later on Dark Order) lose so quickly against the Death Riders because it seemed like both groups were factoring into the bigger story at play, but apparently not, as that spot seems to be going to either Orange Cassidy or Daniel Garcia right now, both of whom had big victories on the show."
[8.0] "Very fun Collision. Felt like a very quick two-hours. The show was very angle heavy and I enjoyed every match on the card. It furthered the story of BCC vs AEW, The BCC looked super dominant in their great six-man vs Top Flight, then their second impromptu match vs The Dark Order, Daniel Garcia & Private Party cut a really good promo on the BCC, they furthered the story of Orange Cassidy not believing he's leader material after many of the people he's been aligned with turned on him or retired, (Yuta, Trent, Taylor, Kris Statlander) the story of the rise of Kyle Fletcher, after he had a great match vs Atlantis Jr, The House of Black looked super impressive in their squash match. The three of them have incredible aura together. La Faccion Ignobernable vs The Outrunners was a fun Tag Team Match. The Outrunners are so entertaining. Really fun Collision and AEW feels hot right now with the BCC vs The World story."
[6.0] "Nothing really stood out here. I hope whatever contractual obligations exist to keep producing Battle of the Belts expires. None of them have been worth watching. It seemed like a cool idea when they announced it because they hadn't added ppvs yet. Anyway, Kyle Fletcher and Atlantis stood out as a fun and entertaining match but the rest was standard weekly tv show fare."
[8.0] "I thought this episode was quite good actually. It was more angle-heavy than Collision has usually been. Every match had an angle leading into it or out of it. Two really good matches and good stuff from the BCC."
[5.0] "Some solid matches as well as Fletcher/Atlantis being enjoyable in a match I preferred to their CMLL one from summer. Four squashes on the show felt excessive."
[5.0] "A couple of bright spots in this episode; the opener was decent and Im still marking for the Outrunners for the time being. Despite the wrestling not being too bad overall the number of squash matches each week on Collision is slowly creeping up and I fear it will become the new Rampage in the New Year when Rampage comes to an end."
"An excellent modern version of a classic TV wrestling show. There is nothing here you need to go out of your way to see, though the opener and the Atlantis Fletcher matches are some of the better matches you will see this week, and several plots were advanced in promos. matches, and angles. The pacing was excellent, with the show adhering closely, but not rigidly to the match-promo-match sequencing that allows the excessive amount of talking segments inherent in Ame-resu to not completely kill the flow of the show. The one major downside was the finish of the LFI Outrunners match, which over-pushed the Outrunners and was very detrimental to the credibility of LFI as anything more than an under-card level act."
"There were a couple of good matches, but 3 of the 4 matches in the middle of the card were squash matches. Squash matches are supposed to progress storylines, explain how any of these did ? This is just not watchable long term, and you wonder why people are starting not to watch the product. 4/10 for me"
[6.0] "There were definitely too many matches for this show to be truly enjoyable but a couple of them were actually really good. Ricochet vs. AR Fox was really good. Just two great high flyers doing what they do best. Stat vs. Harley was good. Nice showcase for Stat. DG & PP vs. Premier Athletes was fine. Jamie Hayter and Orange Cassidy had a couple of squash matches. I really liked the little backstage segment between Garcia and Cassidy. Garcia asked for Cassidy's help against BCC but OC said he fought them in the past and doesn't want to suffer again. Nice piece of character work here. Fletcher vs. Atlantis Jr. was really good. Both men looked great, Fletcher in particular. A fine House of Black squash followed by a forgettable match between LFI and the Outrunners. BCC vs. Top Flight was a solid main event. A bit too short but solid. Post-match was really good. It's just the BCC destroying jobbers but it's great because it truly feels like they're causing havoc. Overall: there were two really good matches and the BCC-related stuff continues to be great however there was quite too much filler and too many nothing matches."
