[5.0] "Match's are okay. The one I liked the least being the brothers of funstruction vs Caleb konley and facade. But my favorite segment was the brother's promo after the match."
[5.0] "It was a fine show. I expected an outlaw mudshow, but I was impressed. First of all, the arena and the design looks good and fits the ICP. Commentary was there, Galli was fine, but Manny Fresh wasn't. The show opens with Violent J cutting a promo about how the Lunacy Era is starting and shoots on wrestling media for not covering JCP when it has been going for 25 years. It was quite funny. Then we move to the ring for the matches. On the opener, Dani Mo defeated Alice Crowley. It was pretty basic and just there, but Mo looked fine. She needs to get better, but that is only achieved by getting more experience. Them the Brothers of Funstruction successfully retained the tag titles after defeating Facade and Caleb Konway. I guess that some people could like the comedy spots with all the clown stuff, but not me. And also the match wasn't good. The Konway turn on Facade was stupid. The main event was the best part of the show. The Southern Six are stablished as the top heels of the company and I have to say that they did a pretty good job with this classic Heavenly Bodies like gimmick. This heels that think they are the more handsome and strong and that every women wants to be with them. Silas Manson cut a good promo, Cornette style, introducing all the members and putting themselves over. And then they won with a great performance, specially by Manson and Morton. On the babyface side, Matt Cross did a nice performance showing his high flying. Santana Jackson was funny with his Michael Jackson gimmick. Mack didn't do that much. After the match, James Storm comes out and cuts a promo on the Southern Six and then sets a fight with them, but they runaway. It was fun to see. I was impressed with the show."
[7.0] "Honestly, as someone who was getting into JCW, I honestly had to check this out once it premiered. Violent J shooting on various journalists in the wrestling media for not covering JCW despite its many accomplishments was certainly a promo that moved even the most jaded of fans. Santana Jackson moonwalking out to Beat It is certainly a hilarious sight to see honestly. Brothers of Funstruction as usual playing with their comedic gimmick is entertaining to see. Former TNA champion James Storm making an appearance is awesome to see and considering the first 4 episodes were taped all in 1 night, he was definitely teasing a few matches in later weeks or in later matches in the night for those who were in attendance. Overall, great episode."
"As an enjoyer of insane clowns, I was very interested to check out the first episode of JCW's new YouTube show. Opening the show is commissioner Violent J SHOOTING on Dave Meltzer and the wrestling media for not covering JCW despite its many accolades. Of course the crowd eats this up and WOOPS echo through the arena. To begin the new era of juggalo wrestling we start the HOT with... a women's match. Well, honestly this wasn't so hot but at least it was short. Next match was for the tag team championship. This was a basic, serviceable little match. Of course the crowd loved The Brothers of Funstruction who do silly clown stuff like play with balloons and slap their opponents with their heavy oversized neck ties. The dirty dog Caleb Konley turns on Facade during the match, and I have a feeling these 2 will meet again to resolve this on a future episode. To wrap things up we have a 6 man tag main event and this was the match of the night. Silas Mason takes the mic and does ring intros for The Southern Six, who are kind of like The Freebirds without the Confederate flags or the talent. I'm just kidding, these guys aren't bad. This is my first time seeing Santana Jackson, the Michael Jackson impersonator who walks out to Beat It, dances on stage, then moonwalks down the ramp! The crowd went insane for this and I did too! Absolutely electric. Santana grabs his crotch, dances around his opponents, and was the star of this match. Of course the southern bastards cheat to win, and the crowd (including several young children I spotted) chant YOU SUCK DICK at them. And they're absolutely right, these guys do sunk dink! We get a surprise appearance from Cowboy James Storm who tear into them on the mic and I believe we'll see James teach these guys a lesson at a later date. Overall impressions: a weak start to the show but a HOT ending made this worth a watch. I am looking forward to watching more episodes of JCW Lunacy."
[7.0] "This popped up in my youtube recs, I heard of this fed before so I had very low expectations. I thought we'd have fatass deathmatch goofs mutilating each other in front of 100 rednecks in a field but I actually got a pretty damn decent wrestling show with plenty of talent I recognize. Arena looked good and it was packed by a hot crowd, good production as well, I like how both the canvas and the screens had the same white pattern applied to them. Some fun promos by Willie Mack and the southern 6. Dani Mo and Alice Crowley both look great and had a good match. Crowd really loved the clown tag team, their match was fun and did not drag on. Southern 6 did a good job antagonizing themselves to the crowd, decent match, the southern win and the crowd are throwing drinks at them. Cowboy James Storm comes out and gets the biggest reaction of the night and the southerns run off. Overall a really fun show, was also pleasantly surprised to see that many children at an indy show, good to see the next generation of wrestling fans being created. Like one of the comments said, this is the type of outlaw mudshow I can get behind."
[6.0] "Sooo it's really something different, overall I was entertained. Very interesting presentation, especially for a weekly show. Somewhat outlaw vibe was around whole event, which is I guess a main gimmick of the show. Southern Six are built as the biggest heels of the company and they are a good choice for that role. We have clear main event picture already and some storylines already started. Arrival of James Storm was the best part of the show, he really felt like a star here. I will give JCW Lunacy a shot and watch at least nex episode."
[7.0] "The presentation alone deserves some praise as it's exactly what I pictured but more polished. Women's match opener was great but was pretty short which was a constant complaint I had through the night. The tag match had a lot of time wasting and I would recommend you skip. The main event was incredible for what it was as the Southern Six now look like a really strong threat."
"[9.0] The show opens with Owner Violent J (Insane Clown Posse) saying that JCW has been around for over 25 years and is annoyed that the pro wrestling media specifically "Dave Meltzer" has ignored JCW. Violent J says the era of lunacy is upon us. The show opens with our commentary team Manny Fresh & "Juggalo" Joe Galli. I wasn't fond of Manny's commentary as he sounds like he has marbles in his mouth. Meanwhile, "Juggalo" Joe Galli's work I have enjoyed since I first heard his commentary on Billy Corgan's NWA POWERRR back in 2019. Ouija Macc's personal DJ "DJ Chunk" is behind the boards. The show starts with a women's matchup which is different for JCW and really puts home how serious they are taking this rebrand approach. Dani Mo defeats "Big Al" in a nice quick match, she wins using a tightrope walk crossbody from the top rope. The show's pacing is the biggest compliment I can give which is something I've felt JCW has always struggled with. The 2nd matchup is the home brand favorites Brothers of Funstruction taking on the heel team of Caleb Konley & Facade. This is a nice popcorn match that keeps the crowd invested in the show. I think a large portion of the audience in the Newport Hall was really wanting to see the Ouija Macc concert so I think the Brothers of Funstruction did a good job with clown gimmicks to keep the juggalos invested. Good match! The main event sees the JCW World Champion "The Chocolate Juggalo" Willie Mack teaming up with Matt Cross & Santana Jackson as they take on "The Southern Six". My first impressions is Kerry Morton has the most punchable face you've ever seen. What stood out to me was how over "Santana Jackson" was with the crowd and how underrated Silas Mason is. The Southern Six win with Silas Mason's sick finishing move "The Thrill Ride" which is like the Black Hole Slam that Abyss would use in TNA with way more spins. Very dope finish to this 6 man tag as the heels go over. The Southern Six get showered in boos by this juggalo crowd who is not a fan of their hillbilly aesthetic. The Southern Six's celebration doesn't last long because the show ends with "Cowboy" James Storm dawning a JCW jersey and a tall boy. He calls out Kerry Morton & Silas Mason on the mic and gets the biggest pop of the night. Well paced, solid show and I had low expectations and I am much looking forward to the next installment of Wednesday Night Lunacy"
[5.0] "This was an interesting show to say the least. The first match and second matches were ok I guess. The main event was decent. The tag teams the weren't already established in other promotions felt like weird combinations. The crowd seemed to just be there because it was the ICP's promotion. The were dead quiet until the main event. All of the little children cussing, chanting profanity, and flipping off competitors really surprised me. It seemed like the first couple of rows were children. The camera work could have been better to help with some of the mistakes the wrestlers did."
