[9.0] "I think it was a very good even.The best match of the night was of course the main event with Takeshita had another banger and Uemura taking a big win in the best match of the tournament in the first four days.ELP vs Tsuji was very good and all the other three was good enough.Tag matche jyst help the wrestlers of the othe block to keep some momentum and all of them was good."

[7.0] "Save for the main event, the climax matches this show were all pretty whatever. The main event, however, was the best match of the tournament so far. Still, I can only rate this show so high due to the undercard being underwhelming. [MOTN: Konosuke Takeshita vs. Yuya Uemura]"

[7.0] "Tough to rate, the show got better roughly from match to match, climaxing in the match of the tournament so far. So on a 5 match card, I'd argue having one absolute banger in the main event is worth a high overall rating, because that's what we watch the G1 for. Now, of course one match doesn't make the show rating, but the two matches prior were also enjoyable (3.5* range for me), so it really is between a 7 and 8 rating. The first two matches were fine-ish, but they really do not hurt as short undercard matches. I'm always a sucker for shows that end really high, so that's the best show for me so far, despite the average quality maybe being better on other nights. The main event stays in the head, and that's what matters."

[8.0] "Again, my rating here will only reflect the block matches as I skipped the tags. I really enjoyed a couple of matches on the undercard, especially ELP vs Tsuji, and Narita vs Cobb was surprisingly very entertaining too. Goto vs Boltin was alright, but Finlay vs Henare was a bit disappointing for me. With all that being said, the main event is what pulls this score up so high. Undoubtedly the best match of the G1 so far, Yuya felt like he absolutely belonged on the main event stage as he fought from behind and hyper-focused on Takeshita's arm, and Takeshita proved he is one of the best in the world with a performance full of incredible selling and explosive fire. Please search this match out, it is wrestling psychology excellence. In fact, many of the matches here relied more on selling and limb work than a lot of NJPW matches tend to, from Cobb / Ren, to ELP / Tsuji and of course the incredible main event! Really good show, that I felt worked more cohesively that the last night in terms of gradual quality development (I guess that's what happens when Evil + Jake Lee don't get the featured matches lol)"

[8.0] "Very good main event and the two matches before that were good as well. Goto-Boltin was fine and Narita match wasn't a total wreck despite cheating. The undercard was whatever."

[7.0] "Overall really fun show. Undercard felt a bit boring tonight though I did miss some parts too. The G1 matches mostly delivered though, think Oleg vs Goto is going slightly underrated. What puts this over the edge from being an ok show to a good show though is the main event. Match of the tournament so far and as much as I dont see them running this rematch Id love to see it again in the playoffs."

[5.0] "SANADA & TAKA Michinoku vs Katsuya Murashima & Toru Yano: A match that served its purpose of being the opener and getting the crowd ready for the rest of the show [**]. Callum Newman, Francesco Akira & Great O-Khan vs Shoma Kato, Shota Umino & Tomoaki Honma: An okay match considering who was involved in the match, nothing memorable happened though [*3/4]. Gabe Kidd & Jake Lee vs Kosei Fujita & Zack Sabre Jr: This match was fine for the undercard, the action was hit and miss at times [*3/4]. Shingo Takagi & Tetsuya Naito vs Dick Togo & EVIL: I was not a fan of this match to be honest, the HoT tactics did ruin it for me, worst tag match of the show [DUD]. Hirooki Goto vs Boltin Oleg: This was basic and boring, the action was not of the standard of the G1 Climax, Goto getting the win was not surprising [*1/2]. Ren Narita vs Jeff Cobb: I did not like this match, it felt like it belonged on a house show not in the G1 Climax [*]. El Phantasmo vs Yota Tsuji: This match was good, felt like it lacked something a bit, ELP was still selling his leg from his last match against Ren Narita, ELP getting the win was surprising to see [***1/4]. David Finlay vs HENARE: Good match, Finlay finally after his third tournament match has picked up a win against a very game HENARE [***1/2]. Yuya Uemura vs Konosuke Takeshita: Uemura picking up a surprise win here against a very pumped up Takeshita, it was a well worked match, better than I thought it was gonna be, both gave all they had and more, MOTN by far [****1/2]"

[7.0] "pretty good show, decent undercard, but the main event of yuya and takeshita was fucking excellent and was the match of the tournamnet."

[5.0] "A huge step-down. The undercard was really bad with only one match that was truly good and then among the Climax shows at least three matches were worth watching but there is no really MOTT aura on any of them and Narita vs Cobb honestly sucked. Unfortunately this show was less thrilling and slightly more boring than the ones that preceded it. **1/2"

[5.0] "Individuals in B-Block are still handling themselves well, like Cobb, Finlay and Henare, but this card featured some poor pairings that I'm glad are done. Standout performer tonight was far and away Yuya Uemura, he looked like a stud."

[7.0] "Seeing Goto, ELP, and Finlay FINALLY get on the board at the very least does even the playing field in the B Block for now but I was NOT expecting Yuya to end the day atop of the block. In my view the detracting factor is Ren screwing over Cobb. Compared to The A block's solo day this show is a step up showing that the B Block on paper at least has been the stronger block but then again who knows. The tag matches were just there as far as I'm concerned. While I am happy that the G-1 formula is back to how block action should be I'm not sure if the current crop can keep attendees in the seats"
