[6.0] "It's a better episode of Heat for awhile because of the Vince McMahon and Mankind promos basically setting in stone the two main feuds heading into Rock Bottom. Foley's segments are brilliant as usual now that he is fully against his 'pops' and his incoherent ramblings backstage are hilarious. This show also continues to feature the Acolytes as they destroy the Hardy Boyz and Too Much with ease! The matches are non existent though as they're all extremely short with interferences and DQ's."

[5.0] "While we did get a teaser of the Acolytes already, this was the first time they were named. While I don't really feel like they really got into the groove till they took on the name APA, after their run in Taker's stable, they were much needed in an era where tag team wrestling in the WWF really struggled, even as some new blood was showing up to make it more exciting, such as the Hardy Boyz and Too Much. Speaking of them, they kick off the night, but we really don't get much action. We get a quick Swanton from Jeff though, but the crowd didn't really pop for it, before the Acolytes showed up to beat everyone up. Other than that, Foley has a brilliant backstage segment on his way to the ring, followed by another brilliamt in-ring promo that ends in him getting a 3-way match with Shamrock and Bossman. The matches are so-so, Shamrock and Venis is decently good and so is Al Snow and Gangrel, but the cleanest match I guess was JJ v Kurrgan, even though that ended in Kurrgan taking a guitar to the head. Mero and Jacqueline also split up, and Droz, with a stupid as hell voice, tries to move the LOD forward after the "suicide attempt" on Raw."

Corporate Champion in the house!

[6.0] "Cool to see Acolytes debut and just beat up everyone, poor Jeff Hardy and Scott Taylor got hit hard. Bossman vs Mero was actually a match but way to short but seeing him fire Jaqueline was kind of cool after he lost do to her interference. Al Snow vs Gangrel was good but stop the DQ Russo come on, Jeff Jarret vs Kurrgan was actually better than I thought it would but Kurrgan wearing that hat gave away that he was going to get hit with a guitar. Mankind has a promo that I actually enjoyed but couldn't he interfere after the match? It barely got going before it ended."
