Pre-Show kann man dahingehend natürlich ausklammern, *1/2. |

12 | 04.07.2024 | somerandommark | 8.0 | Normally, if a show has two matches I've rated 10 and another two I've rated 9, it'd be an easy 10 rating. But this show... it certainly was a unique one. The match quality was undoubtedly exceptional pretty much throughout, this was a great showcase for how talented the Stardom roster truly is. But the booking... well my main two gripes with the booking I have already covered in my reviews of OT vs QQ and Saori vs Iwata, but let's just say I have some reservations about the booking choices here, and some apprehension for Stardom going forward with Okada as booker... he has not proved himself to me yet. What I can say is, this was certainly the narrative spark that Stardom under Okada has been waiting for. No longer can I say the booking is unfocused or lacking direction; truly this feels like the beginning of Okada's Stardom. Outside of that, I thought the pacing and match placement was a bit off overall. I liked starting hot with FWC vs Wing*Gori + SLK vs Mei, but putting the OT vs QQ match in the middle of the card was a bad decision, making it hard to remain invested post-intermission live (and even difficult to remain focused upon a rewatch). So yes, some exceptional performances and matches, but with the messy structure and my reservations with the booking... an 8 is about as high as I can go. I am excited to see where we go from here, and maybe I'll revisit this in a few months and correct myself. As it stands, it's still probably the strongest Stardom show of the year imo! |

20 | 26.06.2024 | Rossg17 | 8.0 | Hazuki & Koguma vs Hanan & Saya Iida: A really good tag title match that was inter-faction with both teams being in STARS, the action was high speed and a great way to kick off the show [****1/4]. Starlight Kid vs Mei Seira: Another high speed match, some brutal looking spots like the draping DDT onto the apron from SLK to Seira [***1/2]. HANAKO & Mina Shirakawa vs Natsupoi & Yuna Mizumori: Not quite worthy of being on a PPV, felt more like a house show standard match [**1/4]. Ranna Yagami, Saki Kashima & Tomoka Inaba vs Aya Sakura, Sayaka Kurara & Tam Nakano: Another multi woman match on the event that felt like a filler match, nothing memorable happened here [**1/2]. Ami Sourei & Syuri vs Mayu Iwatani & Momo Kohgo: An entertaining enjoyable tag match that had some cool moments, the ending sequences with all the near falls made for compelling watching, the time limit draw made sense in this match [***3/4]. Momo Watanabe, Natsuko Tora, Rina, Ruaka & Thekla vs AZM, Hina, Lady C, Miyu Amasaki & Saya Kamitani: A really interesting losing unit disbands elimination match, all ten involved did their parts really well and thoroughly enjoyed throughout [****1/2]. Mika Iwata vs Saori Anou: Surprised about the title change given that Iwata is not a full time member of STARDOM and she is with Sendai Girls Pro Wrestlig, the match in itself was great, both Iwata and Anou had really good chemistry and it showed they put on great solid performances [****1/2]. Maika vs Xena: A really good main event, Xena brought it to Maika even though Xena did not win, another great title defense for Maika, really good chemistry and great way to end the PPV [****1/2] |

28 | 23.06.2024 | Some Guy | 7.0 | This was such an odd show. A lot of the wrestling was very good and the crowd was hot, but some of the booking was questionable, it was way too long with too many filler matches, and the order of the matches was completely out of whack. The Goddess title match in the opener was really good. Fast paced action from start to finish. FWC retains, the right decision (8/10). Kitto vs Mei was good, a typical high speed match with two smaller, faster wrestlers doing a bunch of moves. Nothing you haven't seen before, but it's well done (7/10). HANAKO/Mina vs Poi/Yuna was just an okay filler match, didn't belong on the card (4/10). God's Eye vs Cosmic Angels was more filler, decent but has no reason to be here (5/10). The Runaway Wrestler promotional match was a comedic mess where everyone did what they wanted, but it was very entertaining (7/10). Oedo Tai vs Queen's Quest was going along just fine until the overbooked Vince Russo double swerve. There was bound to be some screwiness given the stipulation, nothing really matters until then. That finish, though, wow that was bad. QQ loses, which wasn't a surprise, as they're going long term storytelling with Saya having to rebuild so it makes sense (6/10). There was an extremely long post-match, it went on forever as several teams tried to recruit QQ members, and Kitto has formed her own faction. So following what should have been the main event for obvious reasons, it's Saori vs Iwata for the Wonder title. It was a typical Saori title match that gets to a slow start, stays that way for a long time, there's a lot of selling and everything that happens makes sense, then picks up in the last few minutes. The only difference is that Iwata won, that was a genuine surprise (7.5/10). Not the biggest fan of an outsider winning one of the top titles. Again there's a very long, dragged out post-match with Poi trying to console a devastated Saori and confronting Iwata to build to a story. And finally, after multiple big angles have happened, we get Maika vs Xena in a thrown together afterthought main event for the World title. This was better than expected, it was a good old-fashioned hoss fight, but went too long. Maika wins the filler defense to end the show (7.5/10). The Conversion was a really bloated show that went on for over 4 hours, about three matches should have been cut and the post-match angles could have been a lot shorter. OT vs QQ should have been the main event. Having two more matches after that was a bad decision. This was a poorly structured PPV. There was more than good enough wrestling to make up for it. 7/10 |

31 | 23.06.2024 | Animago | 9.0 | The best PPV for Stardom so far this year. The card was quite promising and all matches delivered or more. The order of the matches was a bit baffling, but makes sense in retrospect with high-energy matches to get the crowd invested early, then solid mid-card filler, and eventually the high-stakes matches. Regardless of how you feel regarding some booking decision, the in-ring was consistently good with another tag MOTY contender and a main event that exceeded expectations. |

37 | 23.06.2024 | ChocoboSage | 9.0 | The in ring was fantastic for this show, definitely a return to form. But the wrestling was never the issue, the booking has been the main problem ever since Okada took over. Now with this weirdly named show done, the future looks interesting for Stardom and it'll be intriguing to see where things go from here. Definitely some surprises on this show, and as usual FWC stole the show with their Goddess Tag title reign. Followed by a great high speed match between SLK and Mei Seira. QQ vs Oedotai was always going to be devisive, but I liked the way they went with it and the action was great. Runaway Wrestler match was a lot of fun and definitely needed before the Faction match. Then the Wonder and World Title matches were solid to great, I love Mika Iwata so was happy to see her in Stardom. Maybe the best Stardom PPV of 2024 so far? Only negatives would be how you may feel about QQ and Oedo, but also Hanako/Mina vs Poi/Yunamon and Gods Eye vs Cosmic Angels, just felt like house show matches. |
38 | 23.06.2024 | Yokoyama | 9.0 | Honestly one of the best PPVs of 2024 in all of wrestling. Great in ring work, great stories, surprises and gave an injection of excitement that Stardom needed |
39 | 23.06.2024 | daichi | 9.0 | Best Stardom PPV in 2024 so far. Four very good matches, a lot of changes and a consistent show from start to finish. Nothing to complain about. |
40 | 23.06.2024 | MrEinFan | 10.0 | They decided to name this PPV "The Conversion" and pretty much went all in on that. This event had some of the most soulcrushing moments I have seen in Wrestling and I mean that in the best way possible. It started off clean with a great Tag Team Match between FWC and wing gori, Saya Iida is a beast! Following that, Seira and SLK show that they might be a main event worthy match-up in the future and the post-match already set up something that would happen later on. The next 2 matches were good as well, entertaining and overall good wrestling. the Mayu vs Kagetsyuri tag team match was some lighthearted fun and full of enterainment. Also respect to Momo Kohgo for wrestling in a suit. The lightheartedness was appreciated because this was the point where the big shocks would happen. QQ vs OT was a match-up that you would be nervous about every goddamn second, finishing with an absurd swerve by Momo Watanabe, getting everyones hopes up for QQ only to mercilessly crush it and leave Saya as a fool for gambling on Momo switching sides. Oedo Tai, especially Natsuko Tora and Momo Watanabe are looking convincingly villainous now and I love it! The post-match was also almost uncomfortable to watch as Oedo Tai talks down Saya mercilessly who has no choice but to leave the ring. After a match like that, Saori and Iwata had one hell of a task ahead of themselves, trying to get the attention back and they worked a really good match where it became more and more clear that Iwata was way stronger of an opponent than Saori anticipated. This resulted in the biggest shock victory of the night with Iwata winning, DESPITE the previous match. It lead to a broken promise as Saori wasn't able to hold on to the belt before she could face Natsupoi with it and in the post-match, fueled by pure emotion Natsupoi delivered one of the best performances in a post-match scenario of her career. I can't wait to see how this story will continue! The last match had trouble getting me get back into it after the many emotions of the last 2 matches but Maika and Xena somehow managed to get my attention back as they delivered a fantastic and raw match to finish this PPV on. This was the definition of "gaining by losing" for Xena, making her go over with the Japanese crowd. Maika has been a fantastic champion and the built towards her match with Natsuko has everyone nervous which is great for the upcoming events! Overall, this was one of my favorite shows of the year that sets up a lot of potentially amazing storylines. Now we need to see if those pay off just as well! |
41 | 23.06.2024 | Suzukigun | 8.0 | A very good, unnecessarily long PPV that served its purpose. All the notable matches delivered and nothing was bad. The preshow match was fun and short. The PPV opener, which was also part of the Youtube stream, was a shockingly-great Goddess title match which got way more time than expected. STARS vs. STARS matches, especially with something big on the line, always deliver in spades. The aftermath was fun, and the FWC vs. Syuri/Konami match at next week's Korakuen show will be amazing. SLK/Mei was very good as expected, and also part of the Youtube stream, making it the best Youtube slate in Stardom history. Both Cosmic Angels tag matches were fine, Mayu/Momo vs. Syuri/Ami was more funny than expected and a good lead-in for the bigger part of the show. The QQ/OT elimination tag was very good and got better as it went on, highlighted by Momo, AZM and Saya. The ending was very memorable and leaves QQ in a very interesting place. Anou vs. Mika was very good with a result that surprised many, even if it made sense and should've been expected. The main event was very good, even if there were various matches/developments on the show that topped it. Insane length aside, this was a very good show that exceeded expectations to a degree, had memorable developments and raised interesting questions/storylines for the near future. Filler tags aside, for a b-PPV like this, it's hard to ask for more than that. |
