[9.0] "Thoroughly entertaining show. All the segments were great and built up hype for their upcoming matches. The Jericho match was whatever but the other matches were pretty good, especially the 6 man, which was lots of fun."
[8.0] "Great go home show with an amazing crowd. More promo focussed than usual with a mix of average to good matches. They rolled out the Brits in Wales with Oku in a dark match, followed by Billington, Saraya and Ospreay. Britt/ Mercedes opening promo restored some life to a feud that peaked on their first encounter. Jericho calling it "Cardiff, England" got its intended reaction. Billington looked good but still looks 15. Big Bill should be more than Jericho's lackey. Toni Storm's match was poor, but the Okada/Claudio time limit draw and the six man tag made up for it. MJF/Ospreay promo was the highlight of the night. Ospreay has really taken to the mic and this was his best performance. And what an audience for it. Six man tag was fun and fast paced. Swerve/Danielson promo was also very good. Gutted I didn't head down for Dynamite/Collision but chose All In instead."
[7.0] "I haven't watched Dynamite in a couple of months. I thought this was a good show. The best match was of course Okada Vs Cesaro. I can't wait for the rematch because I'm sure that it will be damn good. The women's match was pretty good. The other good match was the trios main event. I recommend this show."
[9.0] "Excellent go home show (and show in general) being there live this was a 10/10 - crowd was fantastic and elevated every segment - it looked great on TV but still didn't fully show how loud it was (the building was shaking for Will Ospreay.) The three promo segments were excellent with a fantastic continental championship match - my hope was giving them a rematch at Wembley - Okada and Claudio both deserve a highlighted spot on the show. Main event was great with the other 2 matches were fine but were boosted by the crowd. (9/10 TV or 10/10 Live)"
[10.0] "As an attendee of this show and my first live dynamite experience, I absolutely loved it. The crowd was so incredibly loud in the building but it doesnt fully translate. The raised seating was literally shaking with people stomping and I struggled to hear what was said at times because of the electric crowd. Ospreay/MJF promo was great. Okada/Claudio was a good match that could have done with a bit longer. Danielson dropping some F bombs to end the show in a passionate promo was awesome."
[5.0] "It's hard to explain but this show didn't connect with me. I get that they're doing more promo's now to hype us up for Wembley but it didn't really work. Let's start with the matches because I can be short: they weren't very good. The only good match was Okada vs Claudio and honestly, while Claudio is a great wrestler he hasn't been presented as such. He's never really won anything of significance so to me he doesn't feel like he's on that level. Making him go to a time limit draw with Okada makes Okada look weak. But, again, the focus was on the promo's. However, those promo's felt off too somehow. It's not AEW's forte maybe and most of the guys (and girls) aren't used to cutting long promo's I guess. They felt awkward. Even the MJF and Ospreay promo, while it wasn't bad and both guys can talk it felt drawn out. The last few weeks have been pretty good but I can't say I'm really looking forward to Wembley. If anything I'm less hyped now then I was before watching this episode of Dynamite."
[6.0] "Show started off the worst way possible with a very fake Mercedes Monč Promo and Britt Baker reminding everyone that she was the only woman AEW pushed in the first two years of its existence. Jericho and Saraya matches where bad and mad for a horrible first third of the episode. Things improved a lot starting with the Ospreay & MJF segment where Ospreay should have finally shut up all the doubters if he can talk as well as he can wrestle, two enjoyable matches and a good ending segment (more thanks to Danielson than some of the cringey parts by Swerve). Therefore overall still a good Go-Home Dynamite. It was sadly at times very noticable that this show was taped in advance with some odd cuts and audio edits. They must have cut out a segment with Adam Page because the first time we see him on this show Renee acts like something happened before."
[9.0] "It was an amazing show the crowd was hot and that MJF and Ospreay Promo segment was great. This show was more promo oriented show but I think that's how a go home show should be like, Overall, a great episode."
[6.0] "A very promo heavy episode of AEW which I was not a fan of. The only stuff that really got my attention promo wise were Ospreay's crack at AEW having enough people on its roster to fill out a small town and the Bryan Danielson build for his match against Swerve. The matches themselves mostly felt like a whole lot of nothing to me, with Okada vs. Castagnoli being the only real interesting match on the card in my opinion. [MOTN: Claudio Castagnoli vs. Kazuchika Okada]"
[6.0] "Lots of in ring promo/confrontations on this episode: DMD/CEO, MJF/Osprey, Acclaimed, Swerve/Danielson. Probably my favorite of a bunch of uninteresting Learning Tree matches. I enjoyed Toni vs. Saraya. Always great to see Okada compete. Very predictable main event finish, of course Darby was going to get the pin. Hopefully Jack puts him in the coffin at All In and leaves him in London. Bucks and FTR are always a treat to watch."
[8.0] "What a great show for a great crowd. Bar the Saraya/ Storm match, this show was nothing but hits. NOTHING BUT HITS. The promo segment between Ospreay and MJF was a work of art, The closing segment with Swerve and Bryan was amazing. The crowd was red hot for everything and they got a show worthy of that energy. Loved it."
[9.0] "[9] Excellent go home Dynamite leading into All In. I was undecided between an 8 or a 9, but the crowd and the excellent confrontation between Swerve and Bryan to close show really edged into a 9 for me. The opening segment with Mercedes and Britt was good and the segment between MJF and Ospreay fantastic. When MJF got to the point that he feels Ospreay took the fans away from him, it added the final piece of the puzzle to the story and helped solidify his motives behind his heel turn. As well as the promos, there were some good matches, particularly Okada and Claudio. Overall, a great episode. If I could give just a couple criticisms, it's that Mariah's attack on Toni needed a little more 'umph' in my opinion and Jericho is just bleh right now. Otherwise, excellent stuff."
[8.0] "This show felt more like a recent WWE go home show for a pay per view and that isnt a bad formula to follow. They pushed the big stories for Sunday and while Im still not entirely feeling the show, this was a step in the right direction. Danielson vs. Swerve could go either way and Ospreay vs. MJF feels a bit more personal. All In has the pressure on it but they did a good job at building it up here."
[8.0] "There's a lot of excellence in this episode, but it is dragged down by the infamous 'Jericho Vortex'. The opening segment with Mercedes and Britt isn't great either, but that's merely mediocre, whereas Jericho's match and promo segment both sucked. Thankfully, from that point onwards, the show starts firing on all cylinders. Toni and Saraya have a really fun match - not the finest in-ring performance but really entertaining character work throughout. Ospreay stole the show with his promo battle with MJF, and as a Brit he got a big pop from me with all his English pop culture references. Okada and Claudio put on the match of the night - the finish was well-conceived and executed, and obviously these two just straight wrasslin' for twenty minutes was a delight to behold. The six-man was wild, frenetic and a joy to behold (I particularly loved the specificity of it being called a Sharpshooter when FTR do it, and a Scorpion Deathlock when Darby does it), and the two show-closing promos were also fantastic. A weak start, but once it recovered this was one of the best Dynamites of the year so far."
[8.0] "A solid show, and an excellent go home for All In. We could have really used one more match here, but getting MJF to get to the point in his promos is a lost cause. His monologues are 50% rambling, pointless schlock and 50% passionate, compelling character work. Oh well. The matches were all fine; nothing great nothing bad. Osprey was excellent on the mic, and the last minute or two of MJF finally found the plot and turned very good. The final Danielson Swerve segment was a fantastic go home interview. Overall, a little too talky, but the talking was mostly very good. The crowd was incredible, and helped build the tension for the big show this weekend."
[6.0] "A solid show as far as putting the finishing touches on the build to All In. The in-ring was not the most exciting on this show and some of the segments felt long winded. All In doesnt do a lot for me on paper but their PPVs tend to deliver despite how inconsistent the weekly tv can be."
[9.0] "This was a great, great show. One of the best go-home shows AEW has put on and the strongest Dynamite since Blood & Guts. The show kicked off with a contract signing segment between Mercedes Monč and Britt Baker which I thought was solid. Jericho vs. Billington was a fine opening match. Saraya vs. Storm was alright. Ospreay/MJF face-to-face was amazing. One of the best segments of the entire year highlighted by a red-hot crowd which was fantastic throughout the entire night. Okada vs. Castagnoli was a really good match, best match of the night. Took some time to pick up but the final minutes were great. The time limit draw leaves space for a rematch which I'm looking foward to see. FTR & Darby vs. Elite was a really fun and fast-paced match. The closing segment with Swerve and Danielson was incredible. Swerve looked like a killer and Bryan had me howling at 4 am in my room. Probably the most hyped I've been for an AEW match since Bryan vs. Ospreay earlier this year. There were also a few nice backstage angles like Bryan telling Ospreay to do the tiger driver or Hangman attacking Evil Uno. Overall: one of those rare occasions were AEW focuses more on segments rather matches and they delivered big time here. All the segments were entertaining and got me hyped up for their respective matches. All the matches ranged from alright to really good. The atmosphere was amazing throughout the entire night mainly thanks to the fantastic Cardiff crowd."
[10.0] "This was the first Dynamite I watched live for about a month and to me it was a fantastic show. The show opened with the signing of the contract between Britt Baker and Mercedes Mone. Thought it was good by both women, Mercedes plays an egotistical heel well and Britt Baker, who's usually a heel, has been a great babyface during their feud. Looking forward to their match at Wembley, think Mercedes will retain. Next up was Chris Jericho vs 'The Dynamite Kid' Tommy Billington. Thought this was a fun match. Tommy Billington impressed me during his match vs Dax Harwood and he impressed me in this match as well. I'm not as sour on the Chris Jericho Learning Tree gimmick as everyone else seems to be and I think this match was fun. Jericho gave Billington a lot until he inevitably won. I can't lie, I think HOOK vs Chris Jericho at Wembley will be a fun plunder match. I enjoyed their last meeting and I think I'll enjoy the one at Wembley. Next up was Toni Storm vs Britain's own, Saraya in a Women's World Title Match. The finish was obvious but I thought it was alright. Mariah May attacked post-match and I've really loved their long story which started when Mariah debuted. The feud between Mariah and Toni has been by far the best women's feud in North America and I think it'll be a great match with Mariah getting the win. The promo battle between Will Ospreay and MJF was absolutely fantastic. Twitter for some reason tries to make you think MJF is shit now for some reason, but he was great here as the POS Heel, draped in an American Flag suit in the UK, and Will Ospreay, who a bunch of EDrones on Twitter decided that Ospreay can't cut a promo, was great here like he always is, as the beloved babyface. This guy is so over, everywhere AEW go and has been a complete success since joining. Hangman then announced he's in the Battle Royal at All In and attacked his former friend Evil Uno and vowed to win and get revenge on Swerve. Claudio vs Okada was up next and the two had a really fun 20 Minute Time Limit draw which led into the FTR and Darby Allin vs Jack Perry and Young Bucks 6-Man which delivered. Next up there was a backstage segment with a bloody Will Ospreay, getting checked on by a trainer. Will was about to be interviewed by Renee Paquette. Bryan Danielson walked in and told Ospreay: Do it! I mean it. Do it! This probably means Ospreay will conquer MJF finally hitting MJF with the dreaded Tiger Driver '91. The final segment of the show was 'The Final Showdown' hosted by Bryan Danielson's biggest hater, Nigel McGuinness. Swerve cut a heel promo on Bryan saying he's gonna end his career which resulted in an angry Bryan hitting Swerve with the Busaiku Knee and cut a firery, profanity ladened promo like the ROH American Dragon to end the show. I'm so much more excited for this All In compared to last years. Fantastic Show"
"[6.0] All the 'talk the talk' segments were good. Liked the exchanges between DMD & CEO and Ospreay & MJF. Swerve was really good and Danielson brought back his 2006 ROH teen spirit. Also another good backstage promo from Briscoe & the rest of the Conglomeration. However, despite setting bunch of good angles the matches simply couldn't keep up. Billington is decent but honestly I can't recall an interesting Jericho match since like... Andretti's upset? Without pulling off another upset Jericho matches are what they are: the absolute snoozefests. Toni and Saraya were both terrible. I have no clue why do we have two nonconsentual kisses (lip lock lol) in one match but honestly whatever. That flipping powerbomb tho... Ugh. Saraya can't get even a reaction from Wales. Her portrayal in AEW is a complete bust as of now and I don't know if she's going to renew a contract but if this was a 'thank you' title match it was an awful way to do it. Okada vs Claudio was good and obviously the MOTN. Yet another time limit draw which is becoming lazy. I hope they revisit this match soon enough. The main event was short and chaotic, didn't care much."
[6.0] "A talk-heavy episode. I thought that each of the talk segments did feel a little long and that they really added up, but they were each generally pretty good. The match-side of things didn't make up for it, though, with Okada vs Claudio being especially disappointing to me. The other matches were pretty average. That match was both average and long. It's an episode largely carried by a loud crowd and the novelty of the commentary team navigating British references in Wales."
"Great show, Maxwell and Ospreay's feud has reached a personal peak, Jericho and Hook's match will be a perfect end to the all in, I hope Bryan ends up winning gold and glory and Swerve's reign is great"
[5.0] "This was a promo heavy show to build up to All In. I felt that the idea of each segment and match was right, but the flow of the show was not good. MJF/Ospreay promo was too drawn out I thought, and we've already had enough talking segments between them. The Swerve segment at the end with Nigel was odd... it was supposed to be a face off between Danielson and Swerve but Swerve cut off Nigel before he could introduce Danielson. Then Swerve proceeds to give a full promo to the camera. For Danielson to run out and attack with staff separating them. It just didn't feel right. Now some parts were entertaining. The matches were all OK, not great but nothing really bad either."
[8.0] "Amazed it took AEW nearly five years to do TV in the UK, but the Cardiff crowd were hot and got a really good go-home show for All In. Only two good matches per se, but the important thing was getting the PPV over, and they did a great job of that. Extra points for Will Ospreay bringing up Gavin and Stacey and the old Cillit Bang adverts in his promo."
[9.0] "This was a great Dynamite. The hot Cardiff crowd gave this show the feel of Dynamites of old. A number of really strong talking segments, including the magnificent final showdown between Danielson and Swerve. Plus, several good matches. I enjoyed Tommy Billington's showing against Jericho, the trios match was a lot of fun and the Okada/Claudio title match stole the show."
