[7.0] "The promos and the angles were gold on this show. The workrate was far from a good NXT outing. More of a throwaway show in terms of in-ring content. There should not be any concern because there was a ton to like from this episode, and whenever I'm asked what is the best Pro-wrestling division in the world, I say that that is hard to determine , but I'd be bold enough to distinguish NXT as the top dog in the game, and this episode would not get me to say otherwise."

[3.0] "This episode of NXT didnt click with me. Most of the feuds are rushed and not engaging at all, and there are too many characters that seem straight out of cartoons. A lot of random booking, like CM Punk interacting with Roxanne and Giulia or the fact that, for no reason, hell be the special referee for the NXT title match. Randy Orton against Evans also didnt make any sense, and instead of having Randy appear for a segment, they just made an announcement on the screen. Finally, only two matches lasted more than two minutes. One of the worst NXT episodes I can remember."

[6.0] "NXT is in a weird position and has been for weeks. It's clear that they are waiting for The CW and a lot of things are fillers. In NXT, you can have a segment with Punk, Giulia and Roxanne and then a match between Brooks Jensen and Dion Lennox, and that's why i love NXT. Like always, a lot of the matches are short because Shawn Michaels try to put as many people that he can, which is not a bad thing, but i think 5 matches is perfect and less goofy segment. Tyra vs Choo & Rosemary was good! And again, NXT needs the NXT Women's Tag Team championships back. Good to see Hammerstone again. But yeah, i didn't care for Thorpe vs Adonis and Jensen vs Lennox. They are very high on Je'Von if they are giving him Orton, as they should.Vice vs Jane deserved way more than 2 minutes. So obviously, what's matter right now for NXT is the two main championship matches. CM Punk was obviously involved in both. Roxanne was weird on the mic, she was emotional i guess. I think what they are doing with Giulia is perfect. We know she can speak english, but i like that she's giving final boss vibe she's just here to remind Roxanne that her time as champ is nearing to an end. My take on this is that they need to pull the trigger in Chicago. Roxanne had a fantastic run as champion but it's clear that they were waiting for Giulia. Don't delay the inevitable Shawn, do it in Chicago, open the new era with a bang. It sucks for me to have Trick vs Ethan Page in the main event but i guess that the first 30 minutes will be commercial free so i guess it's better to do Roxanne vs Giulia without ads. So i have a problem with Punk being the special guest referee, that doesn't make a lot of sense. But then again, Bad Blood is 4 days later and they probably don't want to risk an injury. Drew needs to be there and Ethan Page needs to win and keep the belt.. For now. The move to The CW is exciting and the cards for Chicago and St. Louis looks good, can't wait."

[7.0] "A pretty fun show. Been loving the NQCC stuff with Wren so it's good to see her getting a title shot for next week. The Tony D storyline is very interesting too with him questioning his confidence for the first time. He's always been able to get his way, but not alone. Add in more hype for Giulia and Roxy, I can hardly wait for the CW debut. Plus, who doesn't love a Tyra reunion, genuinely one of my favorite female pairings on NXT in the past couple years. The Ashante/Eddy Thorpe stuff is pretty flat, but other than that it was a fun episode."

Why NXT keeps getting held up as such a great show is beyond me because every episode feels exactly like this. I dont get it. This was exactly what developmental feels like. Everything felt overly stagey and poorly delivered."

I thought this was a typical episode a lot of shorts matches with 1 - 2 long ones, and couple segments throughout the show. They're building towards there arrival on the CW Network so I expect the show to pick up in a big way once they make the switch to that network. But overall an okay, fine episode but I do expect it to pick up in the near future."

[2.0] "This is one of the worst episodes of NXT that I've ever seen. Matches with average length of WCW in 2000, mostly lame storylines and CM Punk that continues to be incredibly annoying. Oh, and also Tyrese Haliburton outta nowhere, that was cringey."

I think that Im reproducing this sensation by watching NXT week-to-week. For this weeks episode, CM Punk has been thrown into an angle without much justification, Tony DAngelo portrayed a realistic depiction of a panic attack, and much, much more. In short: this show is running on fumes as it limps toward October 1st, so avoid it until then."
