[6.0] "As usual with ECW, there were some garbage matches - New Jack vs Mustafa leading the way - but overall I kinda enjoyed the show. The highlight, without question, was the fantastic Rob Van Dam vs Jerry Lynn bout, easily the best match I've seen on an ECW PPV so far. They blended the hardcore elements with pure wrestling incredibly well, and I loved every second of it. Tajiri vs Super Crazy was also very good, and I'm glad it didn't go too long, since that would've risked turning into another false-finish fest. Douglas & Dreamer vs Credible & Storm was a fun tag match where everyone focused on story and character work, which felt refreshing compared to the usual ECW formula and I just wish Taz and Sabu hadn't spent so much time brawling in the crowd during the main event, since I lost interest quickly after that. Elsewhere, Corino tried to drag something decent out of Mahoney, Guido and Antifaz got little reaction, and while Sid's appearance drew a nice pop, the angle could have been executed much better. Overall, a pretty fun show with some strong highlights, but worth watching mainly for Lynn vs RVD."

The Sid stuff didn't do much for me and that whole match/segment dragged on a fair bit. The Dreamer/Douglas tag was also not that good. But nothing was terrible, in my view, not even New Jack/Mustafa which was about what I expected, some weapon brawling and a crazy dive."

[5.0] "Even though there is some good matches on this show, it's not enough to call this PPV a classic by any measure, as there's plenty of filler here too, more than i can recall from any previous ECW PPV(s). The opener was solid but doesn't top their standout performance from Guilty As Charged. Jerry Lynn/RVD could have been a classic in any other place other than ECW, as the weapons thrown in really took the shine off it, and the limit draw didn't help things either, as the match was pretty much over straight away when it restarted. Semi-main was a solid Tag match which also had weapons and a weird almost-turn which it really didn't need. The main event for once is actually pretty good, but nothing vastly different from previous PPV mains or even anything that became before it on this show. But that's all the good/mostly good stuff, everything else is filler and not worth seeking out on it's own."

[6.0] "This was a pretty good show. The best match was of course RVD Vs. Jerry Lynn. Sabu vs Taz was a really good match well. Super Crazy faced off against Tajiri again. Unfortunately it wasn't as good as their previous match. Still a decent show. I recommend it."

[6.0] "Decent enough show anchored by a pretty strong main event - an suitably-intense Taz vs. Sabu bout built around Sabu's jaw injury - as well as a strong first entry in the RVD-Jerry Lynn rivalry. Super Crazy vs. Tajiri in the opener was also good, and while it was largely more angle than match, the Dudleys vs. Spike and Sid (replacing Nova mid-match) was some chaotic ECW fun. There were a few lowlights - for instance, the somewhat uninspired Gangstas Collide match between New Jack and Mustafa, which ended with Jack apparently legit KO'd and having to be carried back to the ring by security - but overall a decent ECW show of the time."

[7.0] "This was a perfectly enjoyable card, with three solid matches on it in Super Crazy vs Tajiri, RVD vs Lynn and Sabu vs. Taz. But none of those were what I would consider one of the best matches of the year, and Balls vs Corino and New Jack vs Mustafa were definitely matches that could have been skipped."
