Aber was gab es hier sonst, dass diese NXT Ausgabe eine Gesamtwertung von 8.18 (Stand Jetzt) bekommt? Für so eine Wertung muss für mich schon ganz viel richtig gemacht wurden sein, trotzdem gibt es hier einige Dinge die mich nicht wirklich unterhalten konnten. Der Rest war aber Solide. Ich finde 6 Punkte sind hier angemessen und auch die Richtige Entscheidung. Trotzdem bin ich sehr gespannt wie es weiter gehen wird und es wird definitiv interessant sein NXT UND TNA weiterhin zu beobachten. |

Meanwhile, Page is a great get for NXT and is a huge upgrade over Dar as the number one contender to the NXT Championship. This was the best edition of NXT in weeks and the Battleground card on paper is much stronger than it was previously. |

There shows lately have been lacking a bit in my opinion but this one definitely hit home with me. 2 big surprises and now we all have excitement for whats next and what this WWE/TNA partnership is going to turn into. I havent been digging the build to Battleground at all but this is definitely a good show i wish the whole build to the show couldve been similar to this. I still feel like the ethan page debut was great and some very well but idk how i feel yet with him revealing hes been the one attacking everyone backstage i just have to see the reason given hopefully its a good one and makes sense. I still hope they go with Trick vs Darr at the ppv since thats been building the entire time up to the show when page vs truck can be saved for the next ppv it shouldnt just be thrown together in one week. |

As cool as it was to see both of those talents show up when nobody expected them, the rest of the show itself was nothing special, and it really was not all that memorable. The match quality just was not there. Even then, most of the matches itself were just decent. The MOTN was probably Riley Osborne vs Ridge Holland, and even then, it was only a pretty solid match. Other than presenting the belt, it delivered nothing of substance (who cares that Sexyy Red is the host of NXT Battleground? ). Some matches were good, like Riley vs. Ridge and The OC vs. Edris & Malik; others were disappointing, like the opener and the main event, and three matches ran for a total of seven minutes - that's a joke! The backstage segments were mainly promising, especially the ones with NQCC and The D'Angelo Family building for next week's Heritage Cup match. The backstage interviews with Shawn Spears and Wes Lee were also memorable moments from the show, which NXT can build on in the coming weeks. I also liked some of the promos/vignettes from Josh Briggs and Carlee Bright. The locker room scuffles are starting to grow on me as well. On top of all that, there were two huge surprises; First, Jordynn Grace was revealed as the challenger to the NXT Women's Championship at NXT Battleground. Second, Ethan Page appeared at the end of the show, revealing himself as the attacker of Meta-Four while also attacking the NXT champion, Trick Williams. |

Slow start I have no idea who Sexy red is, but she got a pop. I like the look of this new womens belt! Vintage. Michin vs Tatum - Fans chanting nonsense with no wrestler interaction. Cross over shoulder tackle was sloppy, thats how you hurt somebody. Michin at least sold her own head after giving headbuts. What is this nonsense kissing the hand and touching her head? Nonsense. You lost me there and I didnt even pay attention to finish because of it. Side note, I love booker T but he goes overboard sometimes. Also, I dont think him and whenever hes commentating with mesh very well. No clue what this back stage segment was about and why as he shaking his phone at him? Id snatch it away. Two girls, didnt catch their names.Okay, the oh sh*t thing made me laugh. Ridge holland vs Riley Osborne.A few minutes into this and I dont get the feeling they used to be partners and it went bad. Should have really played to that. Give me story! Lord stop with the chops, everyone takes chops now days and no sells. Back and forth. Riley can sell good. Oh half way through we get a story, we got a I dont want to do this.hasnt felt like that the entire match. Even when you said it, still looks like you want to do it. You cant try to give me a story 95% through the match. Ending was terrible. He almost went to dark places of the past.no he didnt. Big guy needs some work. Riley pretty good though. I feel like booker t is on level 20 and the other guy is on level 1. Explain how the producer tells the announcer something is going on and the announcer tells the producer to go to the other camera? Does that make sense? Tag match. Not interested at all. Zoned out. Im confused, if this Roxanne has the title, what title were the other girls fight for ? Never cared about raw or smackdown okay, I hope you never get drafted. Crowd isnt even into this. Oh now a real star Jordynne Grace! Now she got a crowd pop. They were going to sleep 60 seconds ago. Lola vs Arianna. No reason for this Match, but here we are. Grace theme music is the worst Ive ever heard. Not needed squash match. So wait, they have Baszler look like a joke on every major show but come here and look like a badass? Yeah, no. Wren Sinclair vs Kelani Jordon. Right off the bat I can say that Kelani came to the rings like a star. Very technical heavy in the beginning. They are trying! Kelani has got something. This was a decent match Last match was great, good reveal with Ethan Page! Not my favorite show, but again, I dont typically watch it so I had no idea what was going on. |

Grace's debut does feel somewhat telegraphed considering her performance and importance in the Royal Rumble earlier this, making that a question of when rather than if. In the in-ring side of things, all the members of The OC had somewhat acceptable matches as the road to Battleground seems intriguing. Shawn is legitimately the best booker in America, it's insane how underrated he is. |

I also like that Dante, by sheer luck, snatches the victory from Lexis. Very entertaining. |

The action in the ring wasn't that great but oh boy was it an evenfull episode. The announcement of Jordynne Grace as Roxanne's opponent brought the hype for Battleground from 5 to 8. What a nice and unexpected surprise. I dont know if we will have a real NXT X TNA show, but we'll see. At the moment, a sporadic collaboration is already something fresh. And then Ethan Page. A perfect addition at the perfect time. NXT needed a heel main eventer capable of carrying the show and I think he has the talent to do it. I have to mention Sexxy Red. Even though I know absolutely nothing about her, I don't think she did anything detrimental to the success of the episode. If she brought new eyes to the show, well done. I added 0.5 to the rating for the video in which she sings "Sexy Boy" with Shawn Michaels. |
