108.12.2024DanTalksRasslin6.0A (mostly) lucha-themed show that was mostly decent but never really rose above that level. The Bad Dude Tito vs Matthew Justice brawl and the Atlantis Sr. & Jr./Star Jr. vs Barbaro/Felino/Magnus six-man were the best of the lot. The Mistico vs Averno vs Titan main event was also decent but certainly ran too long and took awhile to really get going. The other matches were mostly fine, with Kane vs BRG being the only real dud. Not too bad an effort, but ultimately won't be memorable.

323.11.2024ParkwayDriver5.0A fine show but one that I felt could have been better. Matthew Justice/Bad Dude Tito was my match of the night in an enjoyable brawl. The opener and double main were solid. The main event could have been stronger. The chain and tag title matches were not the best. The womens triple threat had its moments but also felt a bit off at times. Production for the show also didnt seem the best despite it being uploaded after it was finished. 5.5
418.11.2024joethom6.0With the Matthew Justice vs Bad Dude Tito being my clear match of the night in a terrific brawl, the rest of the card either lacked effort or was bad booking. The womens title was pretty good for the shorter length and the semi main event six man was fun with Atlantis Jr giving a strong effort. The chain match and the tag titles were bad and are a waste of time.
515.11.2024benny5bellys4.0You could always rely on two things from an MLW show, fly ins working at 60% effort levels and decent production. We don't even get decent production now. No idea what happened because they delayed putting the show up 24 hours but the sound mixing was terrible. I mostly watch MLW because it makes everything else I watch feel a lot better by comparison and on that front it delivered in spades. This was a crap show in front of a crowd who only cared about the lucha lads.
615.11.2024keithmn7.0I dug this. Like most MLdub shows there was nothing great but it was paced well and had some good to quite good matches throughout in front of a hot crowd. This was the most 7/10 show Ive seen in a while but I had fun watching considering my expectations going in.
713.11.2024davidiiske3.0This just was not a good show. There are a couple good segments but none one match is worth watching again and most aren't worth watching the first time. It was dull and uneventful. Even Cicero seemed bored by the end.

911.11.2024Brando Calrissian6.0Major League Wrestling is a promotion that does a whole lot of really cool and unique ideas. Bringing back Lucha Underground in a new way called Azteca Underground, the really cool factions like Contra and the Rouge Horsemen, and some incredibly talented members of the roster that helps with their partnerships with places like CMLL and NJPW...but there is a lot that I don't really like as much. Their production is very lackluster and amateurish to me. Especially on this show, there were really weird camera angles or moments where they missed people coming out or moves being shot from weird angles. Meanwhile the commentary, which I rely on a lot when it comes to following stories and characters and history, was not very good in my opinion. Joe Dombrowski is an amazing voice and clearly knows a lot which helps, but Tom Lawlor did not have a good night as his partner. I got distracted by the commentary at points because it wasn't that smooth, and there were points where Dombrowski would make points and ask questions, and Lawlor would either be silent for a long period of time or he would just go on to make a different point. And the night long story being told with Cesar Duran being kidnapped and all the promos and videos and all the weird stuff surronding it was strange. It felt like a story that should have happened on a television show and not a PPV event. Or whatever MLW does with it's shows now, it's a little confusing. The actual quality of the matches felt lackluster. The opening tag match was really sloppy and nobody seemed to be on the same page. Hechicero is so good that it doesn't really matter that much as he will always look good. But Knight looked to either be not trying or just had a bad day, Esfinge was not in for long but most of his moves looked sloppy, and Guerrero just did more taunting and heel work than actual wrestling. The chain match was bad and didn't need to happen. A slow and boring match where almost nothing happened leading to a bad and frustrating finish that just furthers the feud. The Women's 3 Way was a short and basic match that just shows me that MLW is booking Janai Kai as their dominant women's champion at the expense of their women's division. She's had it for 13 months or so and just always looks so strong. I don't think anybody will beat her for a while, but it just subtracts from MLW more than adds to it. Tito vs Justice was a wild and chaotic brawl. Matthew Justice is great at hardcore wrestling matches, and Tito is somebody I think is a decent wrestler who doesn't get much time to shine. This was a really good and fun match, but it was going to be up there as one of the best just due to the sheer carnage and violence. The Tag Match really should've just been a brawl and a segment rather than a meaningless match ending in a no contest. Contra is getting very repetitive and annoying whenever I watch MLW and sometimes ruins the show, which sucks since Minoru Suzuki is an amazing wrestler and absolute badass. He is just being wasted in MLW. The lucha trios match was good. Nothing special or ground breaking, but a fun showcase of some amazing and super talented legends and stars of the sport. And the main event. An AMAZING 3 Way match between 3 of the best luchadors around today. I thought Averno and Titan working together was great and honestly made Mistico feel like an even bigger deal and legend. A very great way to end what was honestly a pretty bad show.
