[10.0] "What an incredible show, not to mention that CMLL actually got some big W's over NJPW on this event. Mistico beating Takahashi for example, it was an incredible match, and Oku and Sabre Jr. vs Averno and Volador Jr. was also an incredible match, plus the Women's match was one of the best I have seen in a long time. Well done CMLL, what a show. The crowd was electric, best crowd in the game!"

[9.0] "This is another example of what CMLL is at its best. Maybe not any MOTYC, but top-to-bottom good-to-great lucha libre. The best crowds in the world and delightfully old-school production make for an all-around great package."

[7.0] "This was a one-match show, and thankfully this time it was a very good match (unlike whatever the fuck that was last year), but every other match didn't jump out at you to stand out - they ranged from 'good enough' to 'very good', but nothing great, ZSJ/Oku vs. Volador/Averno was my favorite undercard match. I guess there is juice for another Mistico/Hiromu match with stakes because Hiromu has something to do until the Tokyo Dome show, I don't think they have a good chemistry."

[9.0] "This was an amazing event. This show had absolutely everything, you got some great technical wrestling and some epic high flying action. Just about every single match delivered at the very least, especially the main event."

[8.0] "top to bottom a really good show from all those involved. misitco v hiromu couldve been a bit better to cap off a big show but what can ya do. great show either way"

[9.0] "A great Fantastica Mania in Mexico, a couple of good matches and a great main event. Futuro, Max Star & Vegas vs Astro Boy Jr, Dr Karonte I & Dr Karonte II: A solid opening trios match that had a decent level of lucha libre moves, the match could have been had a bit more time though [**1/4]. Magnus & Rugido vs Bad Dude Tito & Che Cabrera: A tag team match that was okay at best, nothing memorable happened here to be honest [**]. Stephanie Vaquer vs La Catalina: Vaquer went into this match the obvious winner, Catalina tried her best but she was never gonna win, she pulled out a few big moves and had some close near falls that made this match compelling [***3/4]. Rocky Romero & Taiji Ishimori vs Mascara Dorada & Templario: It was a decent match but the ending was a bit of a mess, with the referee's wonkiness and falling during the count, the action though was solid to be fair [***1/4]. Michael Oku & Zack Sabre Jr vs Averno & Volador Jr: A great tag team match featuring great wrestlers like ZSJ and Oku, Averno and Volador Jr are not bad but not on the level as their opponents, solid action throughout enjoyed it [***1/2]. Mistico vs Hiromu Takahashi: An awesome main event match between a lucha libre great in Mistico and one of the best from Japan in Takahashi, they had a great back and forth match that I enjoyed way more than I thought I would [****3/4]"

[10.0] "Fantastic show, successful by every metric possible. Every match was solid, however there was a referee error on a 3 count towards the end of the Mascara Dorada/Templario vs Rocky Romero/Taiji Ishimori match, but I don't think it was any of the participants fault. Everything else delivered. The best matches were La Catalina vs Stephanie Vaquer which ended with an appearance by Mercedes Mone, and the main event. We got an incredible moment with a packed Arena Mexico singing along to Mistico's entrance song "Me Muero". I highly recommend looking for videos from the crowd for this moment as it is amazing. Mistico and Hiromu put on a great match to end the night with Mistico earning the victory and nearly the entire locker room coming out to celebrate with him. One of the best shows of the year."
