[6.0] "Was an ok show, Couple of good matches, no need for the squash matches though as the storylines could of advance other ways. I did enjoy Hook/Joe coming out to whip the Premier Athletes but then they just completly squashed them in the ring. Main event was brilliant"

[6.0] "This was a good episode of Dynamite with some great matches and a well built Swerve/Ospreay matchup. The main event and 6 man tag were the high points, as were the Owen Hart Cup announcements and MJF/Rush brawl. Less good was the abundance of squash matches, namely Garcia/Comoroto, and Jerichos Learning Tree segment. A lot of the storytelling was solid but unremarkable, and the show couldve used a really killer angle, which even the good opening segment couldnt quite provide. This was a very entertaining episode of weekly TV, but was let down in key areas that makes it harder to rate the show higher."

[7.0] "the elite announced blood and guts presumably with the acclaimed on team aew, i don't think many people want this. the opening match was rough but i think perry used way too many heel moves for one match. briscoe cut a great intense promo which lead to a great fast paced trios match. i really like the trio of joe, hook and shibata, hopefully they get something meaningful. the mone match was great as per. jericho stuff was horrible and hard to watch. lots of flips in the main event which built the world title match well, great closing angle"

[8.0] "This was a very good show, filled with good matches and even better segments. The match between Dustin Rhodes and Jack Perry was probably the weakest of the night, but it was still quite good. Rush absolutely murdered Deonn Rusman in an entertaining squash. Roderick Strong and the Don Callis Family vs. Mark briscoe, Orange Cassidy, and Kyle O'Reilly was a pleasant surprise. I knew it would be good, but it still exceeded expectations. Hook and Samoa Joe, well, really just Hook, squashed the Premier Athletes in a far less match. Mercedes Mone vs. Zeuxis for the TBS Title was a very entertaining match. Daniel Garcia split the difference as he squashed Nick Comoroto in a decent match. Finally, Will Osprey defended his International Title against Rey Fenix in the match of the night."

[9.0] "Stellar show that mixed great production elements with good character beats and awesome bell-to-bell action. A true return to form for Dynamite ahead of what looks to be an awesome summer."

[5.0] "The first match of the night was just awful to see. After that, the show felt decent and overall wasn't the worse show AEW has ever produced. This weeks episode was decent however there is still a lot of room for improvement. The TV ratings prove that folks aren't tuning in like they had been just a year or 2 ago which is kinda sad as AEW has some great talent who do well on a weekly basis like Will Ospreay."

[7.0] "A two match and two segment show. Those 4 things were really good but not enough to drive up the rating too far. I'm really into the Rush/MJF feud because they're both great and it's fresh."

[8.0] "Good segment between The Elite and Swerve, ok match between Dustin & Jack Perry. Best part of the Rush match was the fight with MJF afterwards. Six-Man tag yawn fest, but loved seeing Willow getting stomped. Enjoyable short tag match between Joe & Hook and the Varsity Athletes. Would like to have seen Nick Comoroto get a little offense in, geez. This was my favorite Mercedes match in AEW so far, kudos to Zeuxis. The main event between Will Osprey and Rey Fenix was phenomenal."

[5.0] "I think there's still some disconnect in AEW with matches getting more time than their current story interest level warrants. Part of me thinks that Jericho's "Upcoming" graphic should always play a "High guys! " soundbite for maximum annoyance whenever it pops up. I didn't like the main event as much as the average here and I think it might be one of those matches which looks better when you don't see the whole thing. It really slowed down during the breaks. Although there's some development of various angles, this episode felt like its function was to keep everyone busy."

"Pretty Goddamn Fantastic broadcast this week. The Swerve/Elite Opening was a bit hit and miss. Swerve finds a way even when he stumbles. Okada and Nick were great, but I do question the booking choice to announce a team in Blood n Guts rather than a feud building to the need for the annual match. Christopher Daniels promos were both incredibly weak. He's no Pearce, but perhaps he'll figure it out in time. Tho, I'd love it if they just got rid of his pointless position. Jack Perry v Dustin was also kinda hit and miss. Phantom foreign object in or not in the boot, pretty meaningless early juice job, multiple ref distractions, etc. but it all came together when it needed to and resulted in a nice win for Perry. And then the Mark Briscoe promo blew everyone's minds. O'Reilly, Orange, Willow and Renee were all great along the way. Let's be clear, Mark Briscoe's always been this great. I skimmed the Rush squash to get to the fantastic MJF/Rush brawl. That's how you do it. Orange/Briscoe/O'Reilly v Takeshita/Fletcher/Roddy was as great as everyone says it was. Perhaps it's Fletcher v Briscoe at DBD? Hook/Joe v Nese/Davari with the fun pre-match and Shibata shenanigans made for a wonderful quarter hour. Shingo/Mina/Vaquer/Naito videos were all Excellent! The Owen and Forbidden Door are really greatly benefitting from these production efforts. And it's about goddamn time. Mercedes v Zeuxis may have had some miscues, but their combined hard work battled thru any issues quite beautifully. Re-spect. TV Time wasn't perfect, but it hit the mark for me. Jericho's farming advice provided a nice laugh. Bryan Keith continues to rule with every little thing he does in this gimmick. Private Party did their part well. After a couple weeks of lionhearted misfires, I liked this. And then a Wacky Juicey/Asses promo. If you had the volume off you'd think Robinson was going after Jay. Garcia v Comoroto would've been better served with some time on the B or C. Why was MJF looking in on that for? Tho it may have come a little short on my lofty expectations,  Ospreay v Fenix had some thrilling spots and was overall a very good TV match. The story elements building to the Swerve Title match were excellent. The whip pan as pointed out earlier by poster Natio was excellent. Excellent! I have alotta fun watching this show early Thursday mornings every week, but especially nice to see and hear so many other satisfied viewers. This was most definitely an 'AEWrulesTheMotherfackinWorld' week."

[6.0] "Good show overall. Great main event. Solid six-man tag match. Decent to good mid-card matches throughout the rest of the show. Promo segments helped to move stories along. Some interesting developments occurred throughout the night to further storylines to build to Forbidden Door. Commentary was good."

[6.0] "So while I enjoyed the big matches on the show such as the main event, the angle after the main event, the trios match and Mercedes had a good outing, there was so much about the show that just irritates me. The opening started well with Swerve, then we have HEEL GENERAL MANAGERS coming out, then the BABYFACE general manager and then sports entertainment hot garbage ensues. It's a void of utter nonsense, and i don't think anyone cares about team AEW, because we know the story is goofy and harking back to a time when American wrestling was shite. Is it me or also are the promo's getting worse, more robotic, less natural. Kyle o' Reilly NXT face at Mark Briscoe's promo. Just cartoon rubbish. The show just feels completely skippable and lacks the excitement in the years past. To end on a positive, I thought Swerve was great tonight and felt like THE world champion, particularly in the closing segment and I liked the MJF/Rush bit. This sounds very negative but I hold AEW to higher standards and expect more given what they have delivered in the past. For the last 2 years they have become an excellent PPV company with skippable TV."

[8.0] "Opening swerve promo interrupted by the bucks was good. Acclaimed interrupted to stop a beat down and Blood and Guts teased. Please dont put the acclaimed into that match. Theres got to be someone else. Dustin bs JB was fine. Dustin got some colour. Jack Perry with ddt on the floor on concrete. Match was alright but there was an obvious winner from the start. Amazing promo from Mark Briscoe who is just exceptionallly good value every time he appears. Top class. Rush with the generic jobber. Rush battered him, threw him repeatedly into the barriers before eventually hitting his finish, same deal as last time with an obvious winner. MJF came out and then he and rush had a brawl that spread around the arena. Top stuff full of energy. This show has missed MJF badly. Match with Rush and MJF set for next week. OC, KOR, Mark Briscoe VS Don Callis Family (Fletcher and Takeshita) and Roderick Strong: this was excellent. Just a blast from start to finish. Lots of solid offence and great sequences. The crowd were fully invested throughout. It was a shame to see Briscoe be the one to eat the pin but I get it. The crowd popped every time he was involved and AEW should be making far better use of him. That aside, this was excellent. We even got some heat on Statlander following the match. Every thing so far has been sharp and punchy. Rey and Renee backstage segment, was strange and probably due to the language barrier. Takagi video package, well put together introducer. Much better work here as well. C Daniels: backstage segment, set up eliminator matches. Hes growing into the role nicely. Hook and Joe: digging the backstage segments, great entertainment. Shibata running the camera is funny as well. Hook joe VS premier athlete: starts on the ramp with Hook joe getting the jump. It was fun but a squash with extra steps really. That being said this is great for Hook and Shibata. Joe has done more good for Hook in two weeks that the whole programme with JeriJerk. This is how you get somebody over Chris, and you know it. Stephanie Vaquer with another introduction package, well made as well. Mercedes Moné vs Zeuxis: just going to start off by saying I wouldnt be sad if Mercedes used a little less of the more advanced Lucha moves. Its the only thing that she does that isnt done really well. The Deja Vu in particular has been a little rough the last few times she done it. Now the whine is out of the way this match was really good. Zeuxis hit a lot of solid offence and worked really well with Mone. Mone was off of TV for so long I had forgotten how good she is in the ring. Excellent match. Mina package and Mariah was good, led into a segment with Toni setting up a match for rampage. Oh god help us here comes a learning tree segment. Poor Big Bill. Jericho comes out to basically no reaction from what was an insanely engaged crowd. He threw out a doesnt work for me brother which drew a smirk, and thats the high point. Out comes Private Party confirming this segment was dead already. They tricked Jericho into climbing the rope and then tripped him, did some high flying moves this sucked. Ooof. Mox/ Naito package. Bullet Club Gold promo. Juice is the man. RIP cardblade. Daniel Garcia vs Nick Comorato: squash match. Who cares? Danny deserves better than this. Weird cutaways featuring Ospreay and MJF. Mini Ospreay promo. PAC Promo, announced his Owen entry. Excellent promo. Ospreay vs Fenix: what can I say. Wall to wall excellence. So many exceptional sequences. One of the best TV matches in any show for a long time. These two have so much chemistry and it showed. Further evidence for Will Ospreays best in the world credentials. Just an absolute BANGER. This was followed by a tense stand off between Sweve and Ospreay. Its getting tasty. What a show!"

[8.0] "the only match having any real suspense is the 6 man. but that is more than fine. the squash matches where more than squashes if that makes sense. they furthered story and development for those who won. the other matches weren't knocked out of the park but they all this aew uniqueness too it that I cant really describe well enough. so it was still so enjoyable. I rate a high 8 that'd id make a 9 but the doesnt feel right to be rated a 9"

[6.0] "Outside of the opener, the rest of the actual matches on this card were good. I wouldn't call any of them great myself, but they were still fun matches. There were a few too many squash matches for my tastes though. The promos and segments were mostly forgettable, but this Jericho Learning Tree stuff is absolutely dragging down the show for me. I gave it a chance, but after tonight, I'm done giving it a chance. The learning tree segment on this show was reaching abysmal levels of bad before it thankfully and mercifully ended. It ended up hurting the show overall for me because of how bad it was. [MOTN: Rey Fenix vs. Will Ospreay]"

[7.0] "After a string of really bad dynamite shows this is a breath of fresh air. The best part is the chaotic brawl between MJF and Rush early on in the show. Creating chaos is the one thing the competition (wwe) is bad at so I'm always happy to see it. Apart from that there wasn't anything really bad or offensive about this show. I don't feel like the feud with the elite warrants a blood and guts match yet but those matches usually are pretty entertaining so I'm not complaining. Putting Hook with Samoa Joe is a better idea than the feud with Jericho. For those familiar, there is a connection there with Taz having been Joe's manager in tna at one point. All the matches kinda did what they needed to do though I think I'd rather have Ospreay be more of a special attraction. I don't want to see him on tv too much."

[9.0] "A perfect Dynamite after quite a few regular to mediocre shows. Great start to the show with Swerve and The Elite, I just hope Aclaimmed isn't involved in Blood and Guts. The fight between Perry and Rhodes, personally, I liked it. The six man match had no faith in him and it was one of the best of the night. The main event between Ospreay and Rey Fenix was fantastic. Also the women's fight, I just felt that the women's division lacked a little more presence, but the program itself was spectacular. 9/10."

[8.0] "This episode of Dynamite delivered on its in-ring promises (esp. Ospreay/Fenix and Mone/Zeuxis), and delivered coherent storyline beats for the Forbidden Door, Owen Hart Cup, and Blood & Guts builds. I'd strongly suggest watching (or re-watching) the Ospreay/Fenix match if you're into their style of wrestling. It's full of creative, belief-defying spots that only top in-ring performers can pull off, and then followed by a great post-match angle with Swerve. The trios match was a very good showcase for all six wrestlers as well, and it was a relief to see the Callis Family finally pick up a big win on Dynamite. We need more inspired, clean finishes like that to establish some of the heel factions as credible threats. I'm also really impressed by the writers' ability to thread short-term builds (e.g., Forbidden Door, the Owen) with long-term builds (e.g., All In, Blood & Guts) so that the individual feuds aren't quite as isolated as they were in the past (i.e., foreshadowing of future feuds between MJF/Ospreay/Daniel Garcia, and then Swerve/Elite is smart). There were parts of the show that I'm neutral on (e.g., the Acclaimed being involved in the AEW/Elite angle, the Jericho/Learning Tree stuff), but hopefully it helps get some people over who need it (e.g., Private Party)."

[6.0] "(6.5) The in ring action of this show was pretty solid especially the main event and the 6 man tag i really enjoyed. Also there was 3 incredibly short matches as well which isnt to common on a aew show. The opening segment i was enjoying so much at first and then i just am not a fan of the HEELS being the one to challenge a babyface to a match like blood and guts especially heels that have characters like the elite do currently. As well as it looks like the acclaimed is going to be in the match teaming with swerve which i think is incredibly lame honestly theres much much better options. I do feel like this show helped build to the swerve and will match at the upcoming ppv very well especially the segment after the main event. I didnt like swerve just sitting there letting will hold his title but then he said it was becuase theyre friends or whatever i did enjoy that segment tho. And then a real great intense segment between rush and MJF. Im extremely happy to see rush getting this big opportunity and i hope to see him get more like this becuase he is great all around. But then they announced the match to happen next week on free tv? Why? Its only been building for two weeks and yes it has been a great two weeks why not just allow it to build for another two weeks and have the blowoff at the ppv and give rush a much deserving match on ppv? I think that is a horrible decision doing this on tv next week becuase what is honestly better for mjf to do at the ppv? I highly doubt anything will be more interesting to me and a lot of people then this match. Still one of the better dynamites in a while"

[8.0] "One of the best Dynamites lately: wasn't a huge of the opening segment, The Elite asking Swerve to join them after sending Christian against him didn't make sense and I just can't stand The Acclaimed anymore and I'd rather not see them at all. I hope they're not in the blood & guts. Perry vs. Rhodes was a solid opening match though. Perry looked good. Rush had a fine squash and the brawl with MJF was great. It really got me hyped up for a program I wasn't super interested in. Don Callis Family & Roddy Strong vs. OC, KOR & Briscoe was my favorite match of the night. Really fun and entertaining match that furthers lots of stories such OC vs. Beretta, Willow vs. Stat and the UK wanting KOR to join them. Hook & Samoa Joe squash was really good. Joe did more for Hook in two weeks than Jericho did in months. Mone vs. Zeuxis was good, Zeuxis looked strong and having Mercedes wrestling on a weekly basis is a blessing. TV Time with Chris Jericho was the usual boring Jericho segment but at least I had fun watching Private Party beating the shit out of him. Ospreay vs. Fenix was a great main event which was a bit disappointing but still super fun. Hadn't it been for the two commercial breaks, it would've been a classic. Ospreay and Swerve face-to-face to end the show was easily one of the best Dynamite endings of the year. Chills. Overall: the booking isn't quite there yet however this roster if fucking incredible. All the matches delivered, especially the main event and the trios match and there were some stories being advanced in a good way plus the announcement of Blood & Guts which I'm hyped for (unless they put The Acclaimed into the match)."

[9.0] "This was almost the perfect show. A brawl between MJF & RUSH with a lot of heat, a solid opener between Jack Perry & Dustin Rhodes, a very fun six man tag that had many storylines running throughout, a borderline great match with Mercedes & Zeuxis, tons of fun segments that are advancing characters, and factions, and an awesome main event with Fenix & Ospreay. They just had to put another Jericho segment in there I didnt watch, hes an instant channel changer now. All in all, an excellent show that built excitement for upcoming TV & Forbidden Door."

[7.0] "The first match was appalling but the show picked up and had a great main event to make it a pretty strong episode of Dynamite"

[8.0] "This is a pretty textbook example of a solid Dynamite. A couple of really good wrestling matches (the main event and the all-star conglomerate trios match), some excellent promos, and some odd nonsense. Throw in some Collision style squash matches, and you end up with a really solid television wrestling show. Shingo and Pac added to the Owen is excellent (I really hope we get Dragon vs Dragon in a tourney match at Forbidden Door). Lots of shine for the women's division this week, if that's your jam. Many things have been set up, and it feels like next week's Dynamite, on the other side of NJPW Soul should really dial in the final FD line-up, the Owen, and the summer schedule."

[5.0] "Hated the opening promo, it felt incredibly paint-by-numbers with poorly written dialogue. The build to Forbidden Door was a focus but still not totally coherent. The six man tag had epic potential but they all seemed a bit off top form. Zeuxis brought a unique package. The main event was Ospreay-light. Standout performer was Mark Briscoe who had a crazily strong connection with the fans."

[8.0] "Good show. Swerve and The Elite finally coming face to face, and Blood & Guts gets announced. Great squash for Rush followed by an intense brawl. AEW has been doing some of their best camera work in recent weeks. JP vs. Dustin was an alright match, though I must admit Dustin was not the most credible opponent for JP due to the nature of things. Id say it was a good opportunity to bring in an NJPW talent that could go 50/50 against JP. It was also rather odd to see Dustin and Swerve being cool with each other despite what Swerve did to Dustin. The Hook & Joe squash was fun, it's more interesting than I thought it ever would be. The following 6-man tag, TBS Championship, and AEW International Title matches were all good. We had a great video package for Mina in which she looked incredibly charismatic. Also, another great package for Mox/Naito. Forbidden Door is shaping up pretty well. My only two issues are TV time and the Daniel Garcia squash. Well, TV time was not the worst, and Private Party really got the best out of Jericho, but it didnt need to be 10 minutes long. And then, squash matches dont really go well with technical wrestlers. Garcia shouldnt be able to beat Comoroto in a minute. Speaking of whom, Comoroto needs to be pushed already. He is charismatic, and I dont see why they are not trying to have a Strowman of their own. I hope The Acclaimed won't be involved in Blood & Guts."

[9.0] "Excellent episode of Dynamite from top to bottom. Swerve really commanded the entire show and felt like the biggest guy on the show. Bringing his story with the Elite to the forefront felt like the right move and the opening segment got a lot accomplished. Jack vs Dustin was very good. The Rush and MJF angle was incredibly hot and got me very excited to see them wrestle next week. The six man tag was my favorite match on the show and what I want to see more of in AEW. Mercedes vs Zeuxis was also very good. The main event delivered and then some with Rey Fenix and Will Ospreay doing exactly what you would expect. The closing angle really sent the show off in a hot way though and set a great tone for Forbidden Door. A+ easy viewing."

[8.0] "Good Dynamite overall. Main event was great as expected and was the biggest highlight of the show. Also glad that theyre finally properly ramping up Swerve (both with Ospreay and the Elite). On the subject of the Elite, Im already tired of Daniels being all over the product, and the Acclaimed being involved is channel changing stuff for mecant imagine Blood & Guts being any good if theyre in it. Dustin/Perry was alright for what it was. Otherwise the Mercedes match was good, the Rush squash and post-match brawl were great, 6 man was fun (good to see Fletcher finally pin someone on Dynamite, albeit on someone they should be building for the upcoming PPV), and really enjoying the Joe/Hook/Shibata stuff so far. Get Jericho off my screen though, Im begging at this point. Most importantly, inject Danielson/Shingo into my veins (if it happens like it seems that it will). They seem to be loading up the Owen so far, which was the least they could have done considering the stakes."

[10.0] "Really loved the show tonight. Strong opening segment with Swerve and the Elite, it never fails to pop me when Okada does something as simple as calling someone a "bitch". Jack Perry looked good in his first singles match back and Dustin always delivers. MJF/Rush has done a great job of building a match I'm dying to see in a quick amount of time. Mark Briscoe and KOR make an amazing pairing with Mark's hilarious promo and Kyle's facial reactions. The 6 man tag was a great showing for all 6 men and did a fantastic job in getting Fletcher a pinfall victory over a fellow ROH champion something he needed badly. Wasn't sold on Hook and Joe to start but them and Shibata have been gold and a perfect use of the Varsity Athletes who I normally find boring. I have never seen Zeuxis wrestle before and I was beyond impressed. Mercedes continues to deliver in-ring and it's good to see her bad injury hasn't made her lose her fastball in recovery. Fantastic main event with Fenix bringing the heat and another classic from Ospreay. The final segment has me very excited for the Forbidden Door main event and Swerve is silencing any talk that he's not the guy because he's showing himself to be one of if not the naturally coolest guys in wrestling."

[5.0] "The in ring carried this show as AEW continues to not feel much in the way of emotional resonation with me in 2024. There is a lot of good talent involved with underwhelming booking. I dont buy for a second that The Elite would think that Strickland would work with them or voluntarily put themselves in Blood and Guts, a match that has felt more like an obligation in the last couple years rather than a match that absolutely needed the gimmick. The only real result that surprised me (in a bad way) was Kyle Fletcher now being 1-7 in his last 8 AEW matches thanks to pinning Mark Briscoe, the ROH Champion that has yet to defend his title once while Kyle has been losing on AEW TV for months. Ospreay/Fenix was the match of the night but even that felt like an afterthought in being a challenger of the week who was pushed to the back in favor of selling Strickland/Ospresy, similar to the Ospreay/Fletcher match from months ago. Forbidden Door has some good looking matches on it on paper but I cant say the show is doing much to build my anticipation for any of them."

[8.0] "The show was pretty entertaining, except for the 3 squash matches (TK really needs to stop with those). The other matches, especially Ospreay vs. Fenix, were fantastic, exactly what youd expect from an AEW show. The rest was decent too, even the Learning Tree segment was entertaining if you dont take it seriously. The addition of Daniels as an authority figure helps to balance the storyline of The Elite vs. AEW. The announcement of Blood and Guts, Rush's push, everything is going quite well. The only thing I dont like about the current product, aside from the squashes, and apparently, this isn't a popular opinion, is the overly sexualized storyline with Toni, Mina, and Mariah"

[9.0] "One of the best Dynamites in months. Every match meant something and every segment furthered stories. The Jericho learning tree segment even popped me (god help me). The one problem I had with the episode would be the pacing of angles. As always AEW doesn't let big events in the show breath and it gets difficult to follow. For the first hour the show felt it felt like it didn't stop with the interruptions and the stories crashing into each other. Slowing things down would help people understand the development of these new storylines like Willow and Stat and Swerve and The Elite. Aside from those common issues with Dynamite the matches were great and so were the angles. Dustin had the crowd and Jungle boy got a strong win finally since coming back. Rush and MJF had a tremendous brawl in a segment that was much better than last week's. The 6 man was a party and is what AEW matches were and should be all the time, chaotic, move heavy, and fun. I enjoyed Mercedes and Zeuxis for what it was. Zeuxis is not great. Both moved slowly and seemed lost at times but Mercedes sold great and pulled off a good finish with the counter into the "Mone Maker" (please change that move to a transition though). Hook and Joe's match was passable and had an entertaining opening segment. Joe and Hook doing the Pulp Fiction esque mundane dialog is cool but seems too goofy to do more than once. Daniel Garcia got a win to set up his International title match with an impressive squash over Nick Camorato. it was some nice booking for the lad. AEW saved the best for last though. This main event packed with 2016 BOLA easter eggs has me floored still. Now I've been use to the Will Ospreay style match and the spots he's done for years but somehow since coming to AEW, every time out he does something new that totally pops me and makes me say. How the fuck did he do that! ? Ray Fenix who is perpetually a bridesmaid in this company remined everyone of his potential. I loved the match finish that gave the FD main event some intrigue and the stare down afterwards pumps me up for a can't miss match between Swerve and Ospreay. 9/10 show."
