There was one good match here - two if you count not too bad Tracy vs Rogers - and it still irritated me, because Lance and Lynn were having a fantastic match, but the main focus was on Sunny and her ass. The opener had bWo doing their typical stuff, Spike somehow beat Mabel and Herman, Mahoney & Tanaka vs The Dudleys was everything I hate about these four guys compiled into one, while Roberts & Dreamer vs Victory & Credible was just an awful mess with more interferences than actual moves. And then the main event seemed like a clash of philosophies with Triple Threat wanting to have a normal match that makes sense, but they couldn't reason with morons on the opposite team, so they went and delivered a big fart of a match. At least there were Terry Funk promos all around the show to keep it interesting, but at the same time I'm not looking forward to seeing him wrestle."

This show was just a failure all around with Lynn vs Storm being the only good match? if you ignore all the screwiness of having two referees take most of the attention away from the match"

Not that the matches were outright awful, though some were close to it, but every single one was a chaotic mess with more interference than wrestling. Extremity for the sake of it becomes dull after a while, and what was once innovative becomes stale - and that's exactly what has happened here. Very much a show that was less than the sum of its parts."

[4.0] "This was a major step down from ECW's previous PPV, the all-time classic Heat Wave '98. There was plenty of traditional ECW overbooking and interference, but on this show it sometimes detracted from the match quality, as in Storm vs. Lynn, though it could be argued that the same kind of thing made Roberts/Dreamer vs. Victory/Credible more than the sum of its parts. The main event was average in terms of action, though good in storytelling, especially in the tensions between Taz and Sabu."

I said Wrestlepalooza's opener had some dudes competing for worst looks ever, but November to Remember 1998 exceeds it, as Super Nova, The Blue Meaning, Danny Doring, and Roadkill all look ATROCIOUS. Who booked this trash? From top to bottom, I hate it. I hate it all!"
