[5.0] "I am finding it difficult to explain why, but this week did not captivate me the way much of the post-SummerSlam television experience has. At the very least, it did not start well, with a shockingly cringe-worthy opening that set the stage for a night that had a lot of ground to make up as a result. Andrade and Carmelo Hayes were once again a very good working duo and I hope to see more of them. Kevin Owens delivered a tour de force upon Grayson Waller, which is always nice to see, and the tag match was actually pretty spectacular, with plenty of fireworks throughout the match. The ending was surprisingly mediocre, but it was nice to see Roman get his hands on the ula fala before the usual "Solo and company bully the babyface" ending. Ultimately, the dreadful opening and the similarly dreadful Blair Davenport match that not even Naomi could save, both drag this episode down by miles. A concerning misfire, but I hope that next week provides a bit more intrigue and excitement and proves this lacking Friday night to be a one-off."

The Bloodline segment was a good way to close the episode. Carmelo and Andrade can't stop doing banger It seems and the Main event between DIY and Street Profits was one of the best tag team matches that has donne WWE in this year."

His Acknowledge me worthy of a guy with bronchitis... nobody believes it, not even him. He's not credible for a penny. We've seen worse in the ring but it's not that great. He's excellent in the role of enforcer, much more so than Solo was for Reigns, and the crowd reacts every time and recognises the man's talent. He has an intensity comparable to Reigns in the Shield. I'm really hyped for a Reigns/Fatu match, much more so than with Sikoa."

I enjoyed the shows high points for the most part, but Smackdown has become a one segment show far too often. This week at least passed the sniff test."

The Nia Jax celebration thing was especially horrid of a segment though as nobody involved could act convincingly if their life depended on it. A decent episode overall though thanks to the before-mentioned matches. [MOTN: The Street Profits vs. #DIY]"

[7.0] "Good episode of Smackdown. Ive enjoyed pretty much every match here except Naomi vs Davenport which I thought was eh. Show opened with Tiffany basically bowing to queen Nia. Pretty Deadly finally performed their musical that theyve been talking about for weeks. Ive seen so many tribalists on social media just shitting on this part of the segment. I felt like they sung badly and out of sync on purpose to gain heat? I personally found it kinda funny lol. Andrade and Carmelo FINALLY faced off and it was a really good match. Not really surprising considering its these two. Weve had a few segments throughout the show with Solo and Tamma talking about Roman. Hinting at whats gonna happen during the final angle of the show. Kevins confrontation with A-Town Down Under was pretty good. The crowd got into it. We had a tribute package for Afa. RIP and condolences to the family. I cant imagine how Roman must be feeling. Losing his dad and his uncle in the span of just two months. Owens and Waller had a pretty fun match and it played on the slow disintegration of A-Town Down Under. I think Theory finally realized whats been happening for a while now. The Legado del Fantasma video followed by LA Knights response promo which was good but the churro line may have been a liiiittle unnecessary though. It seems like Michin is inserted into the Tiffany/Nia storyline which seems interesting. Always felt like Michin deserved better than what she got. Remember Retribution? Ugh. Street Profits vs DIY was a GREAT 1# contenders match. I think everyone saw the Street Profits winning since theyve been pushed more prominently recently and DIY were just tag champions like 3 weeks ago. Gl to them. The bloodline managing to tame the tribal chief is something I dont think weve ever seen before. Roman not being the one standing is wild. Seems like HHH has to take this measure to give them more credibility. Which I understand of course. Really wonder where its all gonna go."

[3.0] "If I would not watch SmackDown with some people every week I would probably stop watching full episode from now on. Andrade vs. Hayes III was neat, DIY vs. Street Profits a fun action match. But the rest was either cringey (Nia Jax' celebration), stupid (jobbers getting title shots because they attacked someone from behind), stagnating (Bloodline storyline, which contradicted itself 3 times this show) or unnecessary (LA Knight promo). I really can not fathom, how RAW and SmackDown are booked by the same people if the qualities of the shows are on different ends."

[7.0] "Nice episode of SmackDown. The wrestling was pretty solid, bookended by really good matches. The opener with Tiffy Time and Pretty Deadly was comedy gold. Now let my beautiful boys get some wins in the ring. I hope that the lady tag champs and Blair get at least a decent amount of time with the babyfaces next week. Solo was being insidious all night, never intending to play fair with Roman Reigns. Fatu's return was sick. Roman should be getting some back-up soon, although they have plenty of time to draw this out with Bash in Berlin being Bloodline-free (that we know of). Reigns is the biggest wrestling star on the planet. Unreal how incredible that dude is. He's doing a good job of wrecking the new Bloodline one on one while selling being overwhelmed by the numbers and the returning Fatu. Cody Rhodes coming to help KO was predictable; KO's mixed response was not. Hopefully they give him some room to play in this feud. LA Knight showed up to cook on the mic and leave, mission accomplished. Good Orlando crowd. Fun watch."

[7.0] "Good show here, but the first half was very shaky, the opening segment was not that good in my opinion, it was kind of cringy as well in my opinion. Andrade vs Carmelo was pretty good, hopefully they continue something with those two. Naomi vs Blair wasnt really that good, not that much chemistry in it. Kevin vs Grayson wasnt special but it was cool to see prizefighter owens again. LA Knights segment before next weeks match was good, and the main event tag team match was awesome. Solo & Romans segment was pretty cool to watch them both fight for the Ula Fala only for Jacob to destroy Roman afterwards. Overall, this was a pretty good episode of Smackdown, the first half wasnt that good, but it got better."

[6.0] "Much like last week's show, this one is an improvement over what WWE has been doing with SmackDown since the Draft, not by a large margin, but it's a bit more entertaining and feels more relevant. Andrade and Melo rivalry has been quite good, being centered around how damn good both men are in the ring and it has give Andrade some spotlight to shine in the midcard scene as well as building the current character of a Carmelo Hayes on a personal downward spiral after being surpassed by Trick Williams. Nia Jax's delayed celebration looked promising with Pretty Deadly about to give us a glimpse of the musical (well done by WWE to keep developing that story. I hope it gets more dedication and helps Pretty Deadly gain some momentum) and watching more of the brief tensions between Nia and Tiffany, both Mia Yim attacking everyone and getting a title shot for that kinda ruined it. Mia won't win the title and it's not an interesting match to watch in any aspect. Kevin Owens is carrying by himself his WWE Title match lazy AF story and he is so damn good as a storyteller it makes you get invested in it despite how lame it is. The only way this whole thing ends on a decent note is Owens turning heel on Cody for being condescending to him, which will make SmackDown lose one babyface of the roster and we'll get a repetitive story as we all expect Randy Orton to also turn on him for his true big title defense. An evident huge problem in SmackDown about credible and relevant challengers for Cody. Naomi and Blair Davenport put on one of the worst matches of the year, terribly bland and full of timing and pace killing issues. Solo Sikoa once again calls out Roman Reings and we get basically the same segment from last week, this time just changing Jacob Fatu single-handedly taking out Roman after he finally recovers the Ula Fala (and waste a shit ton of time putting it on. Also, how the fuck did Solo got it in the first place? ). I love how Jacob is used by Solo, not appearing with him by his side, waiting for the right moment if he's really needed (always, actually) and, when he appears, shit absolutely goes down. Not even Roman Reigns could do anything against him and he was able to put the GOD and Solo out by himself. If that match happens someday, it will feed families for sure. The main event match of the show was the best of the night, but I feel the match finished right when it was starting to become more than good. I hope WWE manages to keep elevating SmackDown little by little."

Wasnt a perfect show wasnt a fan of the opening segment and the other two matches Naomi/blair and Ko/waller were uneventful but thankfully short. 7/10"

"Solid episode of smackdown overall. The start however was just meh as I feel nias title celebration was done poorly. Once again carmelo and andrade put on a banger, and im glad that carmelo picked up the win here. Maybe we'll see a best of seven series. Blair vs Naomi was nothing crazy, as it was just to elevate the feud. Glad blair won but naomi needs to get some more wins. KO vs Grayson was solid and I like we saw more of the vicious side of KO, possibly leading to a heel turn. But please just turn austin theory babyface, stop dragging this out. Street Profits vs DIY is a potential tv moty canadite. Felt like I was watching a triple h nxt takeover with that match. Glad the street profits are getting a chance at gold again next week. The ending bloodline segmant was good and did what it needed to do. Just when you thoughyt roman was the tribal chief again, out comes the enforcer of solos bloodline jacob fatu to stop thaty from happening. The new bloodlione needed thi to show that they aren't just a temu bloodline. As for roman, whenever he comes back again I hope we hear him speak. Overall, besides 1-2 dull moments, this was a very solid smackdown."

[8.0] "Much better episode than last week. Tag title number one contenders match was excellent and the final segment was a big deal. I liked that the Nia celebration set up both Nia/Michin as her first title defence and also Nia/Tiffany Stratton as the longer term feud. Nice taped dinner segment for Legado del Fantasma to build them up a bit for the US title match Escobar has with LA Knight. Good LA Knight promo as well. Solid stuff this week."
