1011.07.2024JackElDestripador7.0Fantastic program from start to finish, with a couple of points that I would like to delve into. I found the initial segment with Mercedes Moné normal, it's just that it's still difficult to find out if she is a face or a heel, but as the weeks go by it should begin to appear more concretely. The fight between Swerve vs Killswitch was incredible with great chemistry between both and the public was involved in the match at all times, so I enjoyed it a lot. Jericho's segment was very bad. I've tried to give the whole Jericho character a chance, but I can't, it's by far AEW's lowest point in recent weeks. I liked the fight between Mox and Romero, it was quite pleasant to watch and it partially removed the bad taste in my mouth with what happened in the Jericho segment. Good segment between Orange and Don Callis, but I find the rivalry between Orange and Trent Barreta quite boring and exhausting, I hope the rivalry ends soon. The fight between Mercedes and Sky was very good, great chemistry between both of them and they had me very interested. The main event was something crazy. The Gauntlet matches are here to stay and especially with a roster as powerful as AEW's. It was a very good program, with the exception of two points that I mentioned above. 10/10.

1201.07.2024Sandmann7.0Ordentliches Dynamite mit ein paar guten Matches. Also quasi alle wie immer.

2910.06.2024Nevermore428.0I was disappointed when I saw that there were only four matches on this show, but it felt like more when I was watching. The opener between Swerve Strickland and Killswitch was really good. Jon Moxley vs. Rocy Romero was only fine, but was still a perfectly enjoyable TV match. Mercedes Mone and Skye Blue had a great match. Once again, I was surprised how little ring rust Mercedes had, given her injury. Finally, Will Osprey defeated Claudio Castagnoli, Hechicero, Jay White, Lio Rush, Mistico, Orange Cassidy, PAC, and Shota Umino in the match of the night Casino Gauntlet Match.
3010.06.2024Pro Wrestling 19488.0Swerve & Killswitch got after it, as did Moxley & Romero (who I always say is a valuable hand). Enjoyed watch Skye Blue, but the ending was a surprise, and I was genuinely stunned and excited for Will Osprey's victory.

4403.06.2024coppercowries8.0Aside from another throwaway match with Moxley and the horrible Jericho Learning Tree crap, this was a great episode. The high point, far and away, was the Elite segment and them teasing just giving Jack Perry the belt. Matt had a great line about Adam Copeland's broken leg, and Okada is an absolute comedic gem. I thought Daniels was full of fire when he came out as well, and he should've been the exclusive face of Tony Khan going forward. We shouldn't even have seen Tony again after appointing Daniels, but of course Tony fucked that up by appearing immediately on Saturday and making the appointment of Daniels pointless.

5801.06.2024WAKA Flockanoku7.0This was a really solid night for AEW overall with a fantastic main event. Hopefully the build to Forbidden Door is more exciting this year and we get more episodes like this, but I won't hold my breath. [MOTN: Forbidden Door Casino Gauntlet Match]

6531.05.2024PrivateEyeball7.0An amazing main eventpossibly the best TV main event this year. Beyond that, this show was all over the place. Mercedes vs Skye Blue was decent, but not great. Perfect for a random TV match though. Swerve vs. Killswitch was decent but felt longer than it was. Mox/Rocky would have been much better as a regular non-title match. Im tired of eliminators. The Jericho, Mone, and Callis segments were fine but didnt add much. Stokely had the promo of the night and it wasnt close.

7431.05.2024MaveDeltzer6.0Dynamite right now is not in a bad place. There's room for improvement still but nothing drags too much. I think the bigger problem with an episode like this is that there's not so much meat on the bone in parts. You get something like the Jericho promo which goes on a bit (and I kind of like the new gimmick) and then just trails off with Hook and Joe turning up and doing nothing. Later The Acclaimed do the same thing, but with no real reason to be involved. Caster seems to be hinting at a possible heel turn with his "Best wrestler in the world and Anthony Bowens" thing, so maybe that will play into it, but it felt a bit out of place. Apart from things like that, having more PPVs in their year seems to help progression in AEW and I feel that right now they're doing a better job of giving us things to look forward to that we know won't be a long way away. If they can tie non-AEW wrestlers into the Forbidden Door build (Vacquer vs Mone is a good start) with so much going on, the next few weeks could be quite interesting.

8031.05.2024colinmcev7.0All the wrestling was good in this one. It's nice to see Mercedes Mone actively wrestling again. (I'm like 99% sure they originally planned to have Kris Statlander be the one who attacked Mone in the dark last month, but switched to Skye Blue at the last minute because they decided they didn't want Statlander taking a loss this early in her heel run...) And it was REALLY good to see Stephanie Vaquer on AEW television; I look forward to her match with Mone at Forbidden Door! I'm surprised Cassidy rejecting Callis and Beretta subsequently joining the Callis family didn't just happen at the PPV, rather than here. And I'm also really surprised Ospreay is already getting a title shot, especially since he just won the International title just three days ago; I figured they'd wait until Wembley to give Ospreay his shot. But, I'm going to be at Forbidden Door, so I'm pumped to see the Ospreay/Swerve match! :D

8331.05.2024Rossg177.0Mercedes Mone celebration segment was okay, interesting when Skye Blue revealed she attacked Mone a few weeks ago, then took out Mone and held the TBS Title over the fallen Mone. The TV Time segment was actually quite enjoyable to watch, OC/Don Callis segment was interesting when Trent Beretta accepted the invite to join the Don Callis Family when OC refused. Swerve Strickland vs Killswitch: Swerve had a hell of a challenge with the monster known as Killswitch, but he overcame him to win in what was a decent match that was better than I expected [***1/2]. Jon Moxley vs Rocky Romero: Romero got a jump start with a surprise attack, Mox was in obvious pain and Romero targeted the arm of Mox that was taped up, Mox getting the win was obvious though [***1/2]. Mercedes Mone vs Skye Blue: An okay match, could have been better if given more time [**1/4]. Forbidden Door Casino Gauntlet: Surprise entrants, interesting encounters that made this a fantastic match, Will Ospreay winning was good to see [****1/2]

8531.05.2024kiddgoon8.0This would be up there with one of the best episodes of Dynamite if it wasn't for a few things. I'll focus on the high notes instead - I thought Swerve vs Killswitch was super fun and much better than I expected a Killswitch match to be. Mox vs Rocky Romero was also pretty solid as Mox has been at the top of his game since becoming IWGP world heavyweight champ. The Elite segment was brilliant and Okada is already the funniest guy on the roster, although I'm not sure how necessary more story with Chris Daniels is. The main event was one of the best Dynamite Main Events and captured an amazing energy when you have PAC, Jay White, Mistico, and Will Ospreay in the same ring.
8631.05.2024ZooWee8.0A really great episode of Dynamite. Only a 4 match card, but each match was pretty good to great and the main event in particular was absolutely superb, even if I don't agree with Ospreay winning it. There were some great segments here too. Of course the Elite shit still rules and their segment was great on this show up until the end of it. Okada continues to be the funniest wrestler on the planet and the segment would've been great if it ended with the Elite just handing the TNT title to Jack Perry. Instead, Christopher Daniels returns as an acting EVP or something and announces that the TNT champion will be determined in a multi man ladder match at FD. Then the Elite go to attack CD but are stopped by the Acclaimed. If there's one thing I don't want to see it's the fucking Acclaimed getting involved in a storyline I'm enjoying. The only real bad thing on this show was the Jericho TV Time segment. Honestly, his character has been kind of working for me over the past few weeks but this segment was just straight dogshit. Tried to be funny and ironic and poke fun at all the stuff that Jericho rightfully gets criticised for but it failed in all of those aspects. Bryan Keith getting involved in the Jericho vortex also kinda sucks. But overall this was a great show. Fantastic wrestling up and down the card and a few fun angles too.
8730.05.2024AlphaRemixHD9.0That was definitely a 9/10 show for me. I get people don't like the Jericho stuff, but at least he knows it's bad. And he's in on a joke like us.. Honestly, I thought it was a very entertaining. I see people saying it has no right to be in AEW, but people seem to forget that this kind of stuff has always been an AEW since Day One. I thought the Mercedes Promo was fine. It wasn't a deal breaker for the show. She just needs to clean up the WWE Mannerisms of pausing all the time. And I think she will be fine. I thought the rest of the show was peak AEW and people say they need to tell stories. And I think they found the right balance of storytelling and matches. Main event ruled, and all of the other matches got stories across..

8930.05.2024Hemanth9.0What an incredible show...Aew has recently delivering all round performance by delivering great promos(previously whole show just filled with random matches)...They now figured it out to escape from that...this episode of dynamite was crazy...Great promos, great entertainment, great action, everything which it involved...Young bucks killing it from their EVP's angle...Christopher daniels as a interim EVP was very fresh and interesting to watch...Lastly that gauntlet match was crazy like hell...Keep up the good shows like this... Let's go AEW...

9730.05.2024EvPOz4.0A bad Mercedes promo and Skye Blue randomly appearing to take credit for an angle everyone forgot about. Swerve wrestles in the second segment against another loser, this time the dinosaur, match wasn't bad, didn't help Swerve though. Jericho's new gimmick is so lame and no one wants to see him. Romero did some nice stuff in the Moxley match but it wasn't particularly good and no one cared, nor bought him as a threat. The Don Callis segment was so pointless and bad, the crowd ham it up, no one bought OC turning heel and sure enough he didn't. Mercedes vs Skye Blue was okay enough but ** at best. Bucks continue to be awful. Main event was really fun and entertaining, so at least this show had something good on it and it took up a good portion of the show.
