[8.0] "There's an argument to be made here that the Zero Hour is better than the main show. I feel as if it is more consistent for sure, but I'm about to rewatch and find out. Three great matches with a cool squash and a match I've already forgotten. Historically significant main event too. Wild stuff that was likely thrown together at the last minute!"

[7.0] "The expectations were high on this one, even considering the fact that this was the Zero Hour for the event. 1. Fletcher vs Serpentico: without warning, the first of the fifteen matches of the card took place, not really interesting at all [DUD]. 2. Four Way Tag Team Match: exciting match between great wrestlers. Tomohiro Ishii, Brody King and Gabe Kidd brought a stiff and nasty touch to the match that made the difference [*** 1/2]. 3. Tam Nakano & Willow Nightingale vs Kris Statlander & Momo Watanabe: this four wrestlers delivered a good match, with an outstanding Willow's dominance, as a preview for their upcoming match in the Owen Hart's tournament [*** 1/2]. 4. Mariah May vs Saraya: I guess it went as good as it could possibly go. I really enjoyed Mariah May's offence, but Saraya's dominance during the match hurt it clearly [** 1/4]. 5. Lucha Brothers & Mistico vs Los Ingobernables de Japon: the best match of the event to this point, without question. The charismatic personality from the japanese stable facing the speedy offence from Mistico and the Lucha Brothers was a joy to watch, delighting the public with dynamic sequences. It was awesome to see in a Zero Hour event, even more considering that this match, due to disputes between companies, seemed to be impossible [*** 3/4]. Rating: Light 7. Stars: *** 1/2."

[7.0] "Die Zero Hour von Forbidden Door war auch recht unterhaltsam. Gut Fletcher gegen Serpentico war eher was für ROH aber man wollte Fletcher wohl auftreten lassen und daher alles ok damit. Das Four Way Tag Match war dann aber schon sehr unterhaltsam. Gute Teams am Start. Gerade Kidd & Strong würde ich gerne nochmal öfters als Team sehen. Sieg der Kings geht natürlich klar. Mir hat das gut gefallen. Das Tag Team Match der Frauen war auch gut. Gute Action von allen vieren hier und man die Stardomdamen weiter präsentiert. Auch das gerne immer wieder. May gegen Saraya war nicht wirklich gut aber immerhin setzt May sich hier klar und deutlich gut und darum ging es ja auch. MOTN der Zero Our war das Trios Match. Tolle Action, nette Spots, schnelles Wrestling. Super unterhaltsam, hat einfach Spaß gemacht."

[7.0] "As far as pre shows go this was one of the better ones. They really packed in the matches and made it feel like it's own special thing. Absolutely loved seeing Mistico tag with the Lucha Bros."

[7.0] "This was a very good pre-show. I hope they keep this amount of wrestling going forward. We opened with a squash of Serpentico by Kyle Fletcher, mostly just to get Kyle on the card. The four-way between the Kings of the Black Throne, Roderick Strong and Gabe Kidd, Kyle O'reilly and Tomohiro Ishii, and Private Party was quite good. Tam Nakano and Willow Nightingale had a fun match with Momo Watanabe and Kris Statlander, before the disappointing Owen Hart Tournament match between Mariah May and Saraya. Finally, the match between the Lucha Brothers and Mistico and Los Ingobernables de Japon was the match of the night."

[7.0] "This was a surprisingly pretty stacked pre-show, with the clear highlight being the six-man tag match between Mistico & the Lucha Bros and LIJ. The only match that was bad was the Saraya match, but it at least played into an entertaining story. [MOTN: n/a]"

[8.0] "Great Zero Hour Buy-In. Kyle Fletcher (Rising Superstar) knocks off Serpentico, HOB wins an entertaining four-way tag match, then a 10 minute restroom break, followed by a fabulous women's match with Mariah May earning a big win over Saraya, and a super fun trios match with the Lucha Brothers teaming up with Mystico."

[6.0] "The "main-event" really stood out in terms of quality as the second match but unfortunately the rest seemed a bit more standard stuff and so a bit of a waste since this was a really long Pre-Show; if they wanted to do it that long that stuff should have been slightly more interesting. That being siad, enjoyable Zero Hour. **3/4"

[6.0] "Wahrscheinlich einer der besten Zero Hours, seit langer Zeit. Fletcher vs. Serpentico hätte es zwar nicht gebraucht, dafür haben mit aber das Four Way Tag Team Match, Tam & Willow vs. Kris & Momo ganz gut gefallen, May vs. Saraya nicht so doll aber noch solide und LIJ vs. Fenix, Penta & Mistico war für der Inbegriff der Forbidden Door und hötte daher auch auf die Main Card gehört, ganz starkes Match."

[6.0] "For a pre-show, the matches here were really cool. Fletcher vs. Serpentic: waste of time (DUD). 4 Way: they could have removed the previous squash and put more time in this match (**). Willow/Tam vs. Kris/Momo: mediocre (**1/2). Mariah vs. Saraya: Saraya is terrible, I don't know how they gave her the world title (**1/4). Mexicans vs. LIJ: match worthy of a main show, great action (***3/4)"

[7.0] "A solid pre show from AEW this time, with a couple of decent matches and a great match, I enjoyed watching it. Kyle Fletcher vs Serpentico: A squash match where Fletcher looked decent against a smaller opponent like Serpentico [*]. Brody King & Malakai Black vs Gabe Kidd & Roderick Strong vs Isiah Kassidy & Marq Quen vs Kyle O'Reilly & Tomohiro Ishii: Even though this was announced not long before, the match was decent to be honest, everyone got their chance to have their moment which was good to see [***]. Tam Nakano & Willow Nightingale vs Kris Statlander & Momo Watanabe: This match did a good job of highlighting joshi wrestling with Nakano and Watanabe, whilst protecting Statlander and Nightingale ahead of their clash on Dynamite, the action was decent, glad Nakano got the win for her team [***1/4]. Mariah May vs Saraya: While it was not a star making performance, it was still fine, Mariah getting the win was surprising [**1/2]. Mistico, Penta El Zero Miedo & Rey Fenix vs Hiromu Takahashi, Titan & Yota Tsuji: One of the best pre show matches I've seen from AEW in a long time, the match was awesome, all involved had highlighted lucha libre wrestling and hard hitting especially from Penta and Yota who chopped the living daylights out of each other [****]"

[7.0] "Probably the strongest Zero Hour card AEW has ever done (Top 3, at a minimum). The Trios match was fantastic, and the womens tag was also quite good (with a good layout and a good storyline impact)."

[7.0] "The best Pre-Show AEW had in a long time (maybe ever). The Four Way Tag Team Match was very fun, the Tag Match between Willow/Tam vs Kris/Momo was good, and the Místico/Lucha Bros vs LIJ could be a Main Event in Arena México (with more time, of course). Kyle Fletcher vs Serpentico was a quick beatdown, andMariah May vs Saraya was the low point of the Pre-Show, and only served to add more fuel in the Storm/Shirakawa feud."

[8.0] "This might be the best Zero Hour I've seen! The squash was whatever, but every other match was good to great! The 4 way tag was fun, I loved seeing Momo + Tam come over and kick some ass with Willlow + Kris, Mariah pulled a good match out of Saraya (imo, it seems like people don't agree lol), and the final match was an awesome spectacle! Giving this quality of graps for free is so cool!"

[6.0] "The Zero Hour part of Forbidden Door was ok. I enjoyed the women's tag team match the most. Rest of them were just adequate I believe.... Either way there were way too many matches for a pre show and too many watchea for the main PPV as well. We didn't some of these. Like there was no point of Kyle Fletcher's squash. Kyle is a talented guy and definitely one to look out for in the future but this didn't do much for me.... Men's tag team match was just decent. Ishii had a great showing. Have always liked Gabe Kidd. He didn't disappoint. I feel like Malakai and Brody should have been presented as more stronger. Didn't care much for Private Party.... Women's tag team match was a banger. All four of them put on a clinic....Mariah and Sataya has a very boring nothing match which was disappointing.... The Luchadors had a lot of fun and were flying here and there. This style is not for me. But this was great for crowd. They definitely got the crowd heated up for the main show which was the main point I think."

[5.0] "Solid final hype for the main show of Forbidden Door. Most of the matches were fine, Mariah May vs. Saraya was lackluster but at least the main event was a fun way to end this Pre-Show which may have been the best persuasion for people who were not sure if they should by the PPV. I don' really get the panels, it's odd that people in the industry talk about matches as if they were not booked in advance."

[8.0] "AEW/NJPW Forbidden Door 2024 - Zero Hour habe ich fast komplett gesehen und das war sehr kurzweilig trotz der Länge aber durch die Matches wirkte es auch nie zäh. Dazu fand ich den Auftritt beim Roudtable von Negative One mit seiner Mutter so toll. Auch Jeff, Rene, RJ und Rocky waren einfach nur gut drauf. Zu den Matches was im Guide ist jeweils dort mehr. Eine tolle AEW/NJPW Forbidden Door 2024 - Zero Hour, 8 sehr starke Punkte."

[9.0] "In 90 Minuten pre Show Gab es wirklich nette Segmente am Pult, Fünf Matches Bei dem eines auch ein Squash. Zweimal was gut einmal sogar sehr gut! Um ehrlich zu sein, geht für mich so eine Zero Hour kaum besser."

[7.0] "Die Zero Hour war solide. Das Trios Match im Main Event der Zero Hour war richtig gut. Das sollte man sich unbedingt angucken, falls man ansonsten nur selten die Preshows guckt. Ansonsten war das 4-Way Tag Team Match noch solide. Gleiches gilt auch für das Tag Team Match der Frauen. Das brauchte etwas um in die Gänge zu kommen, am Ende hat es mir aber gefallen. Mariah May vs. Saraya war von den 4 Matches das schwächste Match. Ich fand es okay, aber es hätte besser sein können. Immerhin hat Mariah gewonnen. Richtige Wahl, um weiter die Option offen zu haben, dass Mariah das Turnier gewinnt. Das Kyle Fletcher vs. Serpentico Squash Match hätte ich nicht benötigt."

[7.0] "One of the best Zero Hours I can remember of, this was excellent, the card was stacked, better than many events out there, really loved the first and the last match (excluding that nonsensical match between Fletcher and Serpentico, why the hell this happened? )... We saw some really cool and different names here, in one of the few times the Zero Hour was actually worth the watch, and hyped people up. I hope AEW keeps putting interesting matches at the pre-shows, because this one was extremely interesting and that was cool."

[8.0] "Easily one of the best pre-shows I've ever seen. Plenty of good matches, no dead moments at all and just straight up wrestling for 1 hour of the 1 hour and a half of runtime. The four-wat tag was really good, very fun match. The women's tag match was also really good. Momo and Tam both looked phenomenal. Can't wait for Stat vs. Willow. Sraya vs. May was forgettable but at least Mariah won. Mistico & Lucha Bros vs. LFI was actually one of the best matches of the whole night, pre-show and main show. Awesome match. Overall: the packages that were shown were as good as usual, the guest hosts did a good job for those 30 minutes they presented and all the matches delivered."

[7.0] "Overall, one of if not the best Zero Hour show AEW Has ever presented. 3 out of the 5 matches were decent, with one being near amazing. The opening of Fletcher and Serpentico didn't mean anything and could've been easily cut.(DUD). The Four way tag was decent, even if a little too short and managed to showcase all 4 teams.(***1/2). The Women's tag match was decent, setting up Nightingale and Statlander on Dynamite and showcasing two of stardom's bests.(***1/2). The Mariah May and Saraya match was super mid and forgettable (**1/4). And Mistico and Lucha Bros VS LIJ was a great match, specially for a pre show one(****). Overall, a decent pre show that set off high expectations for the main card"

[7.0] "Eine wirklich Mehr als Solide Zero Hour hier für den Forbidden Door PPV 2024. Der Opener war definitiv gut und sehenswert (***1/2), die anderen beiden Matches danach waren eher langweilig. Trotzdem finde Ich es gut wie die Frauen bei AEW momentan eingesetzt werden. Der Main Event der Zero Hour war dann unglaublich fantastisch & genau das, was Ich mir von diesem Match erhofft hatte. Einfach unglaublich gute Action und das muss man auf jeden Fall gesehen haben. Normalerweise schaue Ich mir die Pre-Shows von Wrestling Shows nie gerne an, aber das hier war wirklich sehenswert gewesen weshalb ich mir das mal anschauen wollte (****1/2). Insgesamt gebe ich der Zero Hour zum Forbidden Door PPV 2024, 7 Punkte."
