[7.0] "Unlike the Kentucky crowd, this show was actually really good, and a surprisingly breezy watch. Even the weakest match on this show (which I thought was Daniel Garcia vs Angelico) I enjoyed here. My match of the night was Toni Storm vs AZM; that match really delivered for me. Most of the segments on this show was good, but my favourite of the bunch was Pac's live promo thanking Okada. The Jericho segment trying to get help from Taz was the weakest. This show overdelivered in my eyes; on paper I thought this was gonna be kinda weak."
[8.0] "Really fun show. The worst stuff on the show were still perfectly fine. Opener was fast paced fun, Toni/AZM was great fun, main event was an absolute blast."
[6.0] "Toni Storm has the best women's gimmick in all of wrestling. Enjoyed the Trios match to kick off the show. Buddy Matthews is so underrated, the guy can go, and he sells so well for the faces. Same can be said for Kyle Fletcher's work. The guy is so talented, and allowed the BCC to shine."
[5.0] "The matches themselves aren't terrible but Collision continues to be a bit of a bore. It's people wrestling at each other for two hours with another excessively long tag main event. There's some novelty in seeing AZM in AEW and I did think that was one of the better matches for Storm under her Timeless gimmick but there's no hook to these matches."
[8.0] "This was an excellent episode that set the stage well for Dynasty. We opened with a very good match between House of Black and the team of Dante Martin, Action Andretti, and Matt Sydel. Katsuyori Shibata followed this up with another very good match with Lee Moriarty. Things slowed down a bit as Daniel Garcia and Angelico had ma match that was merely alright. We got our first taste of the working relationship with Stardom as AZM had another good match with Toni Storm. Finally, we got the match of the Night between Blackpool Combat Club and the Don Callis Family."
[8.0] "A great episode of Collision. Every single match there was fun (even the 5-minutes match flew by), the promos were fine, and right now, Collision is being a way more consistent show than Dynamite."
[8.0] "The show was enjoyable. Thunder Rosa cut an amazing promo, that might be the best promo I have seen her cut. The Opener and the Main Event were the highlights match-wise. Toni Storm finally put on a good match with the new gimmick, showing the potential it had. It was a good show. Collision is for the sickos."
[9.0] "Well, thankfully we can write Wednesday off as an aberration where there was a lot of frustration over the ten days prior that some wanted to get out of their system. As always, tonight was no-nonsense real graps for, as I'm sure even Tony is now affectionately calling those of us who tune in, the Saturday Night Sickos. Because, after all, who wants to look at graphs when we're having a hoop convo? Just put on a consistent product that the network is happy with - and I'm sure WBD are happy - and you can go far."
[6.0] "This was a decent episode of Collision. Not a bad match on the card and nothing totally embarrassing happened outside of the matches. However, I can't say it was very memorable either. As an aside, what's up with these title eliminator matches anyways? I don't get why some of them aren't just title defenses. Maybe it's to plant seeds of doubt for an upset, but it hasn't really worked if that's the case. [MOTN: AZM vs. Toni Storm]"
"Great episode of Collision. Every match was good & everything was paced well with the in ring action & the storylines that progressed going into next weeks Dynasty PPV."
"It was a very good show, I didn't see as much time passing as the dynamite show. Very good fights with the storylines moving forward and what a joy to see azm wrestling on TV. A well-deserved 9 for me."
[7.0] "Despite the ME being a 26 min match it rarely slowed down and kept a steady pace. While I do appreciate it, I started to not like Collision's long generic tag team main events. It does seem like it's 'Collision' way of having wrestlers go at it but I get bored of anything that is overused, at this time that being Collision's tag matches. Toni against Azumi was a real treat to watch, Stardom gals doesn't disappoint. Also liked Rosa's promo. Angelico (although it's easy to vibe with him) never found his footing after Jack Evans' departure if he ever did find it during his TH2 run and now Luther is a butler. Well, the match itself was short and it gave Danny some screen time but it'd be wise to move Danny to some important storyline between his momentum slows down. Angelico on the other hand is a solid technician but he's nowhere near his Lucha Libre days which is a shame. Shibata vs Moriarty was good with an expected winner after the unexpected upset. Lots of people care about Moriarty (I'd say it's a travesty to say otherwise) and he'll be doing good long term. Ogogo's commentary was enjoyable with some callbacks to AEW Dark. Opener was a fun trios bout but I can't say why should I be hyped for HoB's Dynasty match. If anything, they are doing nothing but wasting time ever since they lost the trios belt. Overall, it was good to watch some solid wrestling after Dynamite's long and infamous promos but I do agree it needed more backstage segments."
[8.0] "Really good episode of Collision, this episode had a bit of something for everyone. Good promos from the BCC, Toni, Thunder Rosa, Mark Briscoe, and the MIT. Great in ring in the main and opener. Fantastic women's wrestling with AZM and Toni storm. The announcement that the tag title match at Dynasty is gonna be a ladder match. This episode made me more excited for Dynasty while delivering good wrestling throughout."
[7.0] "This was a fun show, something was missing to be great but it was definitely levels above Dynamite this week. HoB vs. Top Flight and Sydal was a really solid opener with some nice fast-paced action. Good win to give HoB momentum ahead of Dynasty. Shibata vs. Moriarty was pretty good. Garcia vs. Angelico was skippable, a nothing match. AZM vs. Storm was a really good match, Toni's best match since she adpoted the timeless gimmick. AZM has already won me over and I would love to see more of her in AEW, especially with FB coming up in a couple of months. Thunder Rosa cut a really solid promo, easily one of her best promos that served as a fuel for her match at Dynasty against Toni. BCC vs. Don Callis Family was the best match of the night. Just great all around. Overall: the wrestling was great and there it was some build-up for Dynasty. I, especially, liked the story of the Don Callis Family wanting to hurt Danielson before his big match with Ospreay. More like a 7.5 rather than a 7."
[8.0] "I liked this episode of Collision, four good matches, including Toni Storm vs. AZM which was the best match Storm has had since becoming "Timeless". Decent build for Dynasty next week, in particular the Don Callis Family trying to weaken the Blackpool Combat Club for Will Ospreay, but where's the evidence that Ospreay asked for it? No Nigel McGuinness this week, but it was nice to hear from Daddy Magic in a bigger role than he's had on a while."
[9.0] "Start to finish this might be the best Collision episode in its history. Pure good pro wrestling which what we love about AEW. Each match delivered in it's way and was fun easy to watch. Rosa did one of the best promos in the women division history and finally it's not just Storm story while the others just part of it. This have back and forth with Rosa trying to get the belt she never lost back. AZM in 5 minutes won the crowd and got cheered more than the champ. So happy for her. I hope AEW use The Callis Family more as tag teams and trios."
