[9.0] "Spears Vs Connors and Henley Vs Davenport were both whatever squashes, but Hayes Vs D'Angelo was solid, Wolfdogs Vs Chase U and Kabuki Warriors Vs Tatum and Lyra were both really good and both Dijak Vs Gacy asylum match and the return of Trick Williams were fantastic. Overall NXT Roadblock (2024) is a really great show."
[6.0] "Overall a solid show, but I would expect more from a 'special episode' The match quality varied, with the womens tag being the standout as my least favourite and the NXT tag title match being the highlight. Trick williams return was the real moment of the show though."
[7.0] "The wrestling was solid and the peripheral stuff kept things moving. Shawn Spears is an interesting cat and he instantly makes the whole Ridge Holland thing more interesting. Chase U continues to provide good melodrama. Good to see William Regal. Stand and Deliver anticipation is heating up."
[7.0] "Matches for the night that can be rated lead to a 6.5 average rating for me. The first half was more quality than the second half and I felt the main event underdelivered. However, the show closing on the crowd going insane for Trick was a good touch and advanced their storyline for Stand and Deliver, in what surely will be the shows main event. Also I enjoyed the Regal/Dempsey interaction, Perez's attack on Lyra looked great and we had a couple of returns. All in all, an enjoyable show on the road to Stand and Deliver!"
[6.0] "I mean its alright. A few too many matches with little consequence for upcoming storylines that didnt seem to accomplish much of anything else besides building talent. Shawn Spears got a one minute squash, there were a couple returns that made the finishes for those matches dirty, just not a lot of this card felt like it actually mattered. That being said, the Melo/Trick storyline has been some of the best NXT ever and its great to see it continued here (as brief as it was). Also great to see Roxanne Perez fully embrace the heel turn and the Kabuki Warriors killing the game."
[6.0] "The opening Asylum match was pretty good, but a little underwhelming considering the stipulation. Dijak's moonsault off the cage was awesome (6.5/10). Wolf Dogs vs Chase U for the tag team titles was another match that should have been better, but it was still fine (6/10). Shawn Spears had a squash match and cut a decent promo before being attacked by Ridge Holland. Kabuki Warriors vs Lyra and Tatum for the women's tag team titles was the best match of the show, good action and character work throughout (7/10). Roxanne's attack on Lyra after that was well done, setting up an inevitable title match between them. Fallon vs Blair was short and it saw the return of Sol Ruca with her interfering. William Regal had a brief segment with his son Charlie Dempsey, kind of interesting. The main event between Carmelo and Tony D was solid, but again was underwhelming considering the stakes. Tony D wins to become the number one contender (6/10). Trick returned at the end of the show to beat down Carmelo to set up their big match. NXT Roadblock had some disappointing matches, although nothing was bad. And there was enough story advancement as Stand & Deliver approaches. 6.5/10"
[7.0] "An enjoyable and consistent show from NXT. The four advertised matches all at least delivered although the womens tag title and main event I thought could have been a bit stronger. Good progression toward Stand & Deliver with the three top matches essentially set up (Trick/Carmelo, Ilja/tony, Roxanne/lyra.) Had some of the in-ring delivered a bit higher Id probably go an 8 but still a consistent and enjoyable show. 7-7.5"
[6.0] "maybe I came in with way too high of expectations but I feel like this was a card focused mainly on matches and the matches themselves weren't really all that entertaining besides the opener and the drama of the main. Very High highs but also very low lows, but then again that is indeed the NXT Experience."
[9.0] "An all around fun episode of NXT. Filled with drama, heel turn by Roxanne Perez, and returns by Trick Williams. The matches that were very solid was Dijak vs Joe Gacy, The Women's Tag Team Match, and lastly The Main Event. Overall a fun episode of Tuesday Night NXT."
