[5.0] "Well it was a typical ECW show, apart from the main event. At least the garbage wrestling mostly consisted of the absolutely horrible Sandman vs Sabu, as the Four Way Tag Team Match was actually pretty enjoyable, but there was also this overbooked mess with RVD and Dreamer. However, they were able to put on some decent stuff also, like the opener with Candido being in a fantastic shape and Rogers not losing a step, or Whipwreck vs Credible, which was a pleasant surprise. And on top of that I loved the main event, which would have worked even better with a less markish audience. A very good babyface performance from Douglas, as even the ECW crowd was going ballistic for some of his hope spots. An actual wrestling match on the ECW PPV to close the show, which was a rare sight, so at least they left me pretty happy."

[4.0] "ECW's 3rd PPV feels a little different to the previous one - Hardcore Heaven. Some new upcoming talent gets space to showcase themselves, but unfortunately the very strange booking style that tainted HH a little last time came out in full force here. [1st & 2nd Matches] Strange 2-matches-in-1 contest, as first off it was a regular singles match between Rogers & Candido, but then Jerry Lynn & Lance Storm interferred and the referee randomly made it a tag match. First half as was much better, as the second half as the tag match just prolonged things, as well as dropping down what initially was a quality match. **** (Mainly for the singles match part) [3rd match] Very short-but-fun power match. ** [4th match] Typical New Jack messy weapons-filled brawl, only add more people. *3/4 [5th match] One of the most overcomplicated & overbooked matches I've ever watched. Definitely not boring, but certainly not good. **1/2 [6th match] I think some backyarders could put on a more competent display than what Sabu & Sandman achieved here. 1/2* [Main] Better than a lot of things on this show, but not really gripping enough to warrant all the time & story that made up this match. *** Honestly if you lied to me and said that Vince Russo secretly wrote this PPV, I'd probably believe you."

[4.0] "This wasn't much of a PPV, it was nothing better than the average ECW show, and was spoiled by the last two matches being pretty poor and taking up the last hour of the show."

[6.0] "No real standout matches, with the possible exceptions of the main event (which told a pretty good story of Douglas being at a size and power disadvantage vs. Bam Bam), the RVD-Dreamer flag match (a decent chapter in the ECW vs. WWF rivalry) and the opener Candido-Rogers opener that turned into a tag match after Storm and Lynn got involved. There was at least some good chaotic fun in the Tag Title four-way, and the Sandman-Sabu match was interesting in a car-wreck sort of way. Not one of ECW's highlights, but an entertaining enough watch."

[3.0] "What a mess of a card. When the best match on the card is probably a roughly two star tag match in the opener, you're having a hard time putting on a great show. Way too much stuff going on in too little time. Nothing has time to get any meaning."
