[6.0] "I think it was just a good event, not something special.Only the main event made a little difference."

[5.0] "LIJ/UE tag and the main event were the highlights in what was otherwise a very drab show, potentially the worst of the tour so far."

[4.0] "This was a pretty nothing show for me. The undercard was mostly average and neither new Japan Cup singles match felt all that strong. If there was another okay level tournament match on this card, I'd probably rate it a little higher, but there was just too much undercard here for the relatively weak tournament matches. [MOTN: SANADA vs. YOSHI-HASHI]"

[3.0] "A literal disaster of a show with too much undercard and half of the NJC matches (lol) being disappoint. The only good thing was SANADA vs YOSHI-HASHI which you should take a look at. At least I felt the terrible HoT presence less than the last time. *1/2"

[5.0] "Mikey Nicholls & Zack Sabre Jr vs Boltin Oleg & Shoma Kato: An average match that featured more established wrestlers vs young lions, Boltin Oleg showcased his power a bit less than usual this match [*3/4]. DOUKI, Taichi & Yuya Uemura vs El Desperado, Tomoaki Honma vs Tomohiro Ishii: A somewhat okay six man tag team match that served its purpose of having wrestlers on the card but nothing memorable happened, Yuya Uemura picking up the win by submission against Tomoaki Honma was okay to see [**]. Chase Owens & KENTA vs Hirooki Goto & Togi Makabe: The action was okay, however there was hardly any chemistry between the two sides, the ending did not need to go that way with Chase Owens hitting Togi Makabe with the tag title belt while the referee had his back turned [*1/2]. Jado, Shota Umino & Tanga Loa vs David Finlay, Gabe Kidd & Gedo: There were some interactions that were interesting between David Finlay and Tanga Loa ahead of their New Japan Cup match tomorrow, Shota Umino picking up the win was good to see [**1/4]. EVIL, Ren Narita, Yoshinobu Kanemaru & Yujiro Takahashi vs El Phantasmo, Hikuleo, Ryusuke Taguchi & YOH: Did not like this match to be honest with the continuation of HoT tactics [DUD]. United Empire vs Los Ingobernables de Japon: This was just a usual standard mutli man match that would be seen on a house show, nothing memorable happened here [*3/4]. Jack Perry vs Toru Yano: HoT of course had to get involved in this one, Yano did not stand a chance here, did not like this match [DUD]. SANADA vs YOSHI-HASHI: While it was a good match, for the first part it was slow but then picked up a gear, YOSHI-HASHI should have won but SANADA proved he had what it took to win [****]"
