[7.0] "pretty good overall show, both triple threats were good, the main event especially. jimmy being taken out and tama tonga debuting was so well done, heyman sold this so well."
[5.0] "I really enjoyed the main event. AJ Styles has seemingly found new life. The other matches did not really feel like anything of consequence, and the two matches that had wrestlers I'm very interested in were both squashes. Not a bad show by any means, but left me wanting more."
[7.0] "Solo Sikoa looking to take over the Bloodline, and taking out Jimmy Uso with a debuting Tama Tonga, was a pretty damn good and surprising direction for the Bloodline to take post-Wrestlemania, and Paul Heyman sold the hell out of it by acting like Sikoa was the most terrifying person in the world. Really well done; much better than Cody Rhodes' promo, which wasn't bad per se, but at this point I'm kind of tired of the Cody Rhodes babyface victory laps and am ready for him to start feuding with somebody else. As for the matches themselves, it was good to see AJ Styles and LA Knight advance in the Universal Title contender race, and I look forward to the future PPV match between Styles and Rhodes."
[8.0] "A very solid show that was highlighted by the debut of Tama Tonga, and the match of the night being the main event Triple Threat. Bron Breakker and Tiffany Stratton are future stars and you would think Jade & Bianca could hold the Woman's Tag Titles until they felt like giving them back. Solid 4 star show that has me excited to see AJ and LA Knight again, this time with something on the line."
[8.0] "Bron breakker is a future WWE top star. The LA Knight/AJ Styles clash looks good, I'd love a triple threat match for Backlash with Cody. On the other hand, I hope Priest/Jey Uso will be in a weekly. The arrival of Tama Tonga was expected, and I liked the segment with Heyman. I think Solo and Tonga obey the Rock and that Roman Reigns will do a face turn when he returns to face his cousin."
[6.0] "Verglichen mit der Raw after Mania die klar bessere Show, man sieht nochmal deutlich, was WWE als momentane Nummer 1 Show ansieht.
[7.0] "Pretty good show here, started off pretty decently with another Cody promo just wishing all the triple threat competitors luck and referencing Brandi. The first triple threat was pretty good. The Bloodlines segment was really amazing too, the character change by Solo in just one week is insane, hes just a quiet guy in the corner and now hes basically the tribal chief. Bron Breakker looking dominant as always but I hate how Cameron Grimes is so mistreated in this business though. Bayleys promo was good and Tiffany vs Naomi was great too. The main event was a great spotfest and triple threats & AJ Styles are great combinations. Overall a pretty good episode of Smackdown, about the same amount as good as Raw."
[4.0] "I can't, I just can't. This is so mid, the only thing that I really enjoyed was the Kevin Owens promo into the main event. Rey Mysterio in 2024 is still absolutely amazing ! Tama Tonga well I'm glad I won't see him in New Japan anymore, please take Tanga Loa too. Cody Rhodes is already insufferable. Too much bla bla and corny promo segments. The wrestling is... so blank, devoid of soul. I'm giving a chance to the next RAW and SmackDown of the new HHH era, maybe that was the mid WM aftermath week."
[7.0] "While the matches on this show were all decent and never left the realm of good but unremarkable, I can't deny that I was super excited to see Tama Tonga debut in WWE (with his name no less! ) This is also the most interested in the Bloodline story that I've been in over a year now that we're in the fallout stage of Roman losing his title. [MOTN: AJ Styles vs. Kevin Owens vs. Rey Mysterio]"
[5.0] "In December 1997, Eric Bischoff had a problem: the nWo had reached its logical storyline conclusion, but he was not keen on laying to rest the goose that laid the golden egg. Coupled with a man for which the concept of losing just didn't work for him, brother, Starrcade 1997 shit the bed in spectacular fashion, making Sting and Bret Hart look like colossal dorks. The following year led to an internecine civil war within the nWo which represented the creative, and ultimately, total decline of WCW as a promotion, as the zombie storyline ran rampant across the product snuffing out new talent and new feuds in their crib. Now, WWE may have avoided their own Starrcade moment last Sunday, but the Obligatory Friday Night Bloodline Segment in which Solo forms what is effectively Bloodline Wolfpac had alarm bells ringing in my head as I watched it back. Coupled with the paucity of wrestling - even by SmackDown standards, not even scraping 30 minutes is disappointing - and its clear that you can take the Terra Ryzing out of WCW, but you can't take the WCW out of Terra Ryzing."
[7.0] "I wish I could do my job as casually and impressively as Kevin Owens does giving a promo while walking backstage to the ring. I get the sense that he also doesn't like CM Punk very much. The wrestling was touch-and-go, but the storytelling was great. Cody's opening promo was short and sweet. The new championship picture feels fresh while also continuing to advance individual stories. The Bloodline stuff was jaw-dropping. Solo usurping Heyman (and maybe Roman? ) is long-awaited and satisfying. Tama Tonga has muscles and is intimidating. Very intrigued as to where things go next for Jimmy Uso. It was good to see Cameron Grimes on TV again; now please give him some time to cook. Chelsea Green running into Jade Cargill again was funny, and it was nice to see Piper Niven get some time as well. The LWO stuff wasn't at the forefront, but it seems they're building to the Carlito turn in due time. Good stuff, looking forward to the future."
[6.0] "After a while, there is a show I can't say any real bad things about (aside from Naomi and the way she was made a number 1 contender. Really lame). It doesn't mean it had its lows, as those were more about uninteresting parts than awful (Jade squashing Chelsea Green once again, the first Triple Threat, Cody Rhodes promo. It was ok, but it was more relaxed and average and it was more centered about announcing the contender's matches). The best parts of the show were the Main Event, that despite its short time, all three men delivered a pretty good match full of dynamism; and Solo Sikoa's character turn with the debut of another Bullet Club OG in Tama Tonga. The whole segment caught me off guard, and not only that, it finally gave Solo Sikoa some purpose, some intrigue, some true badassery. It truly made Roman Reigns loss mean something to The Bloodline and now with Solo betraying Jimmy it opens a door to unknown territories and when I thought the whole Bloodline story was already stale and done, they once again managed to bring it back to life. For the first time I'm interested in Solo Sikoa, I'm interested in seeing what Tama Tonga brings to The Bloodline in a whole different thing that what he did in NJPW, how Paul E. fits in all of this (maginificent acting btw), and, if the rumors are true, how Jacob Fatu arriving to WWE is going to drive people crazy when they see him wrestle. A more relaxed show to calm things after Mania before starting the heavy build-up towards Backlash."
[8.0] "Following this show, I think Smackdown is slowly becoming Smackdown again, instead of Raw in blue. The pacing was great and it didn't feel tiring to watch the show. Cody's opening promo was nothing new, but I don't think it needed more. There were little show-off matches for Bron Breakker and the more or less official tag team formation of Bianca Belair and Jade Cargill. There was a rather underwhelming #1 contender match for the women's title. And to determine the competitors of the #1 contender match for the Undisputed WWE championship, there were two triple threat matches. While the choice of competitors doesn't make 100% sense to me, I love that the opportunities are valued and not given. The main-event triple threat was my favorite match of this show. The highlight was definitely the debut of Tama Tonga (despite the underwhelming reaction) and how quickly they introduced the next chapter of the Bloodline."
[7.0] "Satisfactory matches all around. As mentioned, I need new direction for the Pride and Legado Del Fantasma. I need something that shows me they are legitimate threats. Something other than just constant interference after constant interference. Tiffany Stratton and Jade Cargill come off as stars and the future of their respective divisions. Jade alone makes me excited for her vs Belair and her vs Flair. Chelsea Green is so good at what she does, its criminal how underrated she is. One of the best things about the Triple H era is how heels arent all afraid. Heels want to fight. Heels want the opportunities. Heels want championships. None of this Ill fight you. But not tonight bullshit of Vinces era. Lastly the Bloodline takes a sharp turn. The power vacuum of the Rock and Reigns absence gets filled by Solo, Tama Tonga, and assuming a debuting Jacob Fatu. The Wiseman becomes a reluctant one. One that will ultimately lead to a choice in the future."
