[6.0] "It was a good mix of matches where every match had a likable moment to hook on and almost bring Zero Hour to a solid end, but it didn't go that way. Willow/Statlander were almost close to producing a beastly fight had the ending been less convoluted, the battle royal was adequate but heatless and the FTW duel was satisfactory considering the time constraints. 2.75 out of 5 stars!"
[6.0] "I actually thought Zero Hour, Willow vs. Kris had a very competent amatch that unfortunately suffered a lot due to the different botches (***1/2), Battle Royal was pretty uneventful (**1/2), Hook vs. Yuta: typical Rampage match (***)"
"[3.0] was not a fan of the majority of the matches on the main show. Didnt appreciate Statlander being on the buy in pre show, Edge and Christians match felt like it was booked by people that grew up thinking Christian was better than Edge and it shows by the way they let him do alll of Edges greatest hits on Edge including the convoluted cash in. Kingston and Mox was decent but the slap fest at the end felt childish and idk how I feel about Kingston having 3 belts. Still wish Jay White would have won. The main event had a good ending, I didnt think that would have been it. It was the right result but the match was just picking up and they ended it. The reveal of the devil was ruined and I feel like wardlow being in the group makes him look stupid because he went from being Maxs goon to finally free but resentful of max taking his spotlight and then now hes Adams goon and Adam is gonna take his spotlight"
[5.0] "The matches are from best to worst here. Everything started with the good opening, than we got a decent Battle Royal and the ending was 10 minutes of the most boring "Hardcore" wrestling you can figure out. Fine Zero Hour Overall for my personal taste. **1/2"
[6.0] "It was okay for a 3 Matches. Willow Nightingale and Kris Statlander had an okay opener, the botched near the end. The big take away from the battle Royal is Danhausen was betrayed by Trent Beretta, dosent he know that you betray your partner when your the only 2 left. FTW title match was a skippable hardcore match. Nothing special but it still felt somewhat important."
[6.0] "This show was competent, but extremely predictable. It opened with the Match of the Night in the form of yet another match between Willow Nightingale and Kris Statlander that was good but failed to tread new ground. they didn't even freshen things up by having one of them turn and join Stokely. We then got a Battle Royal for the right to challenge for the TNT Title that was predictably won by Killswitch. Finally, we got a dull FTW Rules Match for the FTW Title between Hook and Wheeler Yuta."
[5.0] "man..... I don't know what happened with Kris and Willow. It started out pretty great, but then I don't know, they got winded or knocked loopy or something. It fell apart. This was a bad sign for the rest of the night, let me tell you. the battle royale was a bit crap. It was pretty clear Killswitch was going to win it. There were some cool spots in it. Mainly the guys piling tables on top of the two hosses. and Hook vs. Yuta was really good. Hook has been getting more competitive matches lately, and they need to keep that going."
[6.0] "Pretty much what you'd want from a pre-show, two solid singles matches and a battle royal that allowed another bunch of people to be on the card, and probably set up things for the TNT title match later. Nothing unmissable, but still decent."
[5.0] "Aew used us to good pre-shows lately but this one was kinda average. No really bad matches but nothing worth watching. Statlander vs. Willow was good until the final minutes where the match became a botchfest and ruined everything these two had built before. The battle royal was your classic Aew battle royal, boring and forgettable. Like the hydration spot by Andretti and the winner but nothing more. Hook vs. Yuta was solid but nothing special. Overall: no bad matches but skippable. The best moment was, perhaps, the return of Serena Debb. Unexpected but really cool moment. The video package was fire too. Really excited to see her back."
[4.0] "Poor standard for a Zero Hour show, which normally does a great job of building up. The collapse of the Statlander-Nightingale match took away all the work they did at the beginning and was hard to ignore. A really dull battle royal with the obvious winner and no exciting spots bar the beginning 18 on 2. Hook vs. Yuta was the best of the bunch but still didnt connect how it should of with these two. Not the warm up you want for the final PPV of the year."
[5.0] "Meh. The battle royal and Nightingale/Statlander falling apart the way it did really didn't set a great tone for the PPV, considering the Zero Hour is meant to convince people to buy the PPV. It was a sign of things to come unfortunately."
[8.0] "Decent Buy-In Show ahead of World's End, with 3 enjoyable matches, the vignette with Serena Deeb was nice to see and cannot wait to see her back in AEW. Kris Statlander vs Willow Nightingale: Enjoyable match for The Buy-In, evenly matched match where Willow Nightingale winning was a surprise as I would have thought Kris Statlander was gonna win, the powerbomb on the apron looked brutal, surprised this was on The Buy-In and not the main show [***3/4]. TNT Title #1 Contenders Battle Royal: Killswitch winning the battle royal is interesting considering if Christian Cage does retain the title, it would be Cage vs Killswitch, the start when the rest of the competitors burying Lance Archer and Killswitch under tables outside the ring was an interesting method, some memorable eliminations [***1/4]. Hook vs Wheeler Yuta: Decent match that featured some decent weapons spots, physical as expected and Hook winning was the right decision and the way he won when he locked in the red rum with the remnants of the hockey stick was cool to see [***]"
