[4.0] "This was like a two hour Rampage episode, the only good match was the opener the rest was bad to fine"

[7.0] "Decent episode of Collision this week, Mark Briscoe attacking Buddy Matthews before Matthews' match to open the show was shocking to see, but glad that Mark Briscoe got the upper hand against a member of the House Of Black. Dante Martin vs Bryan Keith vs Penta El Zero Miedo: A triple threat match that showcased all three wrestlers wrestling styles and was an enjoyable opening contest, Dante Martin winning the match was a surprise but a good one [***1/2]. Marah May vs Angelica Risk: A squash match that showed Mariah May looking great even against a non AEW wrestler [*]. Bang Bang Scissor Gang vs The Dark Order: A fun trios match that had some decent teamwork from both sides, BBSG continuing to win is good to see and a good booking decision [**3/4]. Private Party vs Christopher Daniels & Matt Sydal: An average match that featured some decent action from both teams but the interference at the end from Jeff Jarrett and his group did spoil things [**]. Thunder Rosa vs Cassandra Golden: I do not know why AEW is insistent on putting Thunder Rosa against wrestlers that end up in squash matches, when she should be going against more established names in AEW, I did not like this match at all unfortunately [DUD]. Brian Cage, Christian Cage, Killswitch & Roderick Strong vs Daniel Garcia, Hook, Orange Cassidy & Trent Beretta: A multi man match that did start off good in the first part, but as it drew to an end it did end up in a brawl which even the referee struggled to control which did not look good to be honest, the ending when Nick Wayne who was not even in the match got involved from ringside when the referee was distracted should not have happened [***1/4]."

[6.0] "It was an okay Collision. This show can be pretty up and down can't it? Great opening, coming in HOT. Mark Briscoe attacking Buddy Matthews before any match could be starting. Sabu would be proud of that chair assisted slingshot senton, brilliant innovation. The rest of the HoB runs out when Mark gets himself a screwdriver to do some dirty work. Mark wrestles 3v1 for a while and up the ramp. Nice looking crossbody off the entrance. Briscoe triggering the pyro looked incredible and there was a point where it seemed possible he would burn light Buddy Matthews on fire. This fucking ruled. Then there's a frankly boring Penta match that he didn't even win. The star of the show was Bryan Keith, but he didn't win either. Instead Dante Martin won the thing and he was honestly the worst out of the bunch. Hangman promo was brilliant. I appreciate that he thinks he's the good guy when he's clearly not. That's great storytelling. MOTN to me by an actual mile was the Mariah May match. Hard strikes, sexy looks, and tormenting the enhancement talent. Someone should probably go pick up that chick's teeth from the entrance ramp and get her a glass of milk. A+ match of this type. I absolutely loved it. Short sweet and well worked. She's looking great. Love the post match moment stealing from Timeless Toni Storm, right into her segment. The Toni / Deonna staredown did absolutely nothing for me, but nothing bad. The Six Man was a storyline match and I could care less about it. I speak for most people when I say that I'm ready for the Bang Bang Scissor Gang to start wrapping When into a Statlander, Willow interview segment. Very good. Though Willow does look like a little girl pretending to be visibly mad at her dad for not letting her eat her nuggets in the backseat. Then a Wardlow in-ring. He looks intimidating. His promos are so good right now, but I don't know why this apex predator cutting promos cares what the audience thinks. Around this point, I'm thinking, too much of this talking bullshit. Then Judas hits and I'm actually annoyed. The crowd tried to chant Mike at Wardlow and they couldn't muster enough care to make it worth anything. These two should talk this out with Human Resources present instead of doing it on my wrestling show. Also, why is the in-kayfabe booker not mad that they've messed up the timing on his card with all this chatter? Jericho just fumbles his promos these days and the best part of it was Wardlow being uninterested. Sarena Deeb interview segment starts right afterwards. Nice, short, and sweet. Which was a damn breath of fresh air after that crap. Private Party tag match was exactly what it was and I don't like those. Thunder Rosa's match was fine. She didn't look angry at her opponent for blowing a spot, so better than last week. Then the show wraps up with the Eight man which I was frankly fatigued going into but was good enough. I think the only people who looked exceptionally good through that thing were Daniel Garcia and Roddy Strong. I walked away saying that I really want to see that match, everyone else was just getting a check."

[6.0] "This was a fine episode, but nothing special. It's basically what Dynamite would have been if not for all the excellent segments. We opened with the Match of the Night as Dante Martin took on Bryan Keith and Penta El Zero Miedo in a match to qualify for the Championship Scramble at Revolution. Mariah May then squashed Angelica Risk to set up a promo segment for the Women's Title match. We then saw the Bang Bang Scissor Gang take on the Dark Order in a fine match. Private Party took on Christopher Daniels and Matt Sydel in a match that definitely happened, before Thunder Rosa squashed Cassandra Golden. Finaly, we got a pretty good match between the teams of Brian Cage, Roderick Strong, and the Patriarchy and CHAOS, Daniel Garcia, and Hook."

[6.0] "Decent go home show with three matches that can be enjoyable. Surprisingly the Bang Bang Scissor Game vs Dark Order was the MOTN. Was not a fan of the Wardlow and Jericho promo segment. Deonna Purrazzo and Toni Storm did have a nice segment."

[5.0] "Not a bad show, just a really skippable one. All the matches were average and nothing really stood out for me outside of a great promo by Wardlow. The opening angle between Briscoe and the House of Black was cool. The three way match was the best match of the night. Fun and entertaining altough I would've gone with Penta as a winner. Mariah May had an okay squash. Toni Storm and Deonna Purazzo had a good talking segment, this was easily one of the best build-ups for Revolution. I skipped the Bang Bang Scissor Gang stuff. I truly hate it. Wardlow and Jericho had a nice talking segment. Serena Debb issued a challenge to the world of professional wrestling which was really cool as I think this is all a set-up for Mercedes Mone's first match in AEW. Private Party vs. Sydal and Daniels was alright. Thunder Rosa had another okay squash. The main event was good but also pretty boring at times. These long Collision main event usually work great but when they don't, they're just way too long and boring. This one didn't work. Overall: this show probably doesn't deserve a 5 out of 10, I would rather say a 6 out of 10 as there it wasn't anything bad. Instead there were a couple of interesting segments. But everything was extremely skippable and therefore nothing was really worth watching."

[6.0] "Very much felt like Saturday Night Rampage. All of the matches were fine but felt largely throwaway. Main event was probably the best. I see very little point in having endless squash matches in the womens division, in 2024 I am not sure they actually work in building someone and getting them over. I skipped the Jericho promo, life is too short to watch him in 2024."

[2.0] "When Collision is good. It's really good, but man sometimes it's genuinely a chore to watch. The only segment worth while was the opening segment with Mark Briscoe and HOB which I was surprised wasn't an actual match. The rest of the segments mostly fell flat besides maybe the Wardlow and Jericho promo where Wardlow had a pretty good speech but like usual Jericho fell pretty flat for me. None of the actual matches really hit either. The main even was fine for the most part but just felt like a mess, with a really underwhelming ending. And the brawl afterward felt even more like a mess. This show felt pretty pointless and as a go home show fell pretty far from expectations."

[4.0] "A pretty flat and dull show for a good portion of it with the majority of the card having matches where you know the results simply from looking at the match. Many of them were rather middling featuring a number of acts that have no major involvement on the PPV beyond the main event and the opener allowing addition to the Scramble. I like Bryan Keith but why he was in that match when Malakai Black just beat him is beyond me. The Jericho/Wardlow segment was the low point of the show for me in that it felt like it would never end."

[4.0] "Serviceable show as only thing it had to do was build some lower card feuds for the PPV. Deeb clearly is now Mercedes opponent or target for big Business with her hints during the promo. Wardlows promo wasnt as bad as previous review in my opinion and of course Jericho came out to legitimize the 8 man scramble. He will also be taking the pin Im sure which is how it should be done for wardlow before his title match on an upcoming Dynamite. Its an alright show where expectations shouldve been low. And can we get Bryan Keith his dang music back. Enjoy Revolution everybody."

[2.0] "A complete afterthought of a Collison. On one hand, this is a recorded show filmed after Dynamite this past Wednesday in preparation for Sunday's PPV. It was doomed to be low energy and booked to be safe to keep wrestlers from injury. On the other hand, it was a failure of a television show with bad-to-mediocre wrestling, bad-to-mediocre promos, and makes me less interested in the PPV than I was after a surprisingly solid Dynamite. This Collision felt nothing like those that have come before, whether in the Danielson-run era or the Punk-run era. If anything, it felt like the worst Dynamites pre-Continental Classic while Tony Khan was giving in to his worst sports entertainment inclinations. The matches tonight were full of interference, no meaningful story elements, shlock, and poor work-rate. The promos were uninspired, full of cliches and catchphrases. Wardlow's promo especially was one of the worst efforts in recent AEW memory. This dude ain't it. At least it was live, though. Deeb's was recorded backstage and was worse. Also, can the women get some real matches booked? These squashes are terrible and don't get anyone over. Whatever. Hopefully, Revolution tomorrow will be a major palate cleanser after a stinker of a Collision."
