[5.0] "The low number and tepid crowd reaction to a lot (not all) of the roster should show you how NOAH's booking has been in the toilet. Still, the roster is good, and Soya and Kenoh are going to try and steal the show on January 2nd. The main event involving the two of them was my match of the night, but even looking at this card, for the last Korakuen of the year, this is weak as fuck. Again, great roster, but the even-less-than pedestrian booking makes it hard to care about a lot of the comings and goings."
[8.0] "Kai Fujimura & LEONA vs Taishi Ozawa & Yu Owada: Decent opener with some good action with a decent finish with the springboard forearm and the pin for the win [**]. Hajime Ohara vs Hiroki: While there were aspects of this match that were okay like the submission end, Hiroki was made to look a bit weak in this match and Ohara looked pedestrian at times, the match could have been better had it gone longer [**]. Akitoshi Saito, Go Shiozaki & Mohammed Yone vs Saxon Huxley, Shuhei Taniguchi & Timothy Thatcher: Good six man tag team match with some good moments, the action was solid throughout, Shiozaki picking up the win for his team was no surprise [***]. Xtreme Tiger vs Terry Yaki: While this match was short, it should have gone longer to be honest, Terry Yaki picking up the win was a surprise given that he faced someone with a lot more experience than him, the dives was cool but it was just too short [**]. Eita, HAYATA & Titus Alexander vs Super Crazy, Vinnie Massaro & Yoshinari Ogawa: An enjoyable six man tag team match, with some cool high flying action, Titus Alexander pinning Vinnie Massaro was cool to see, the pacing throughout was just right, could not have asked for better action in this one [****]. Naomichi Marufuji vs Atsushi Kotoge: Decent match that showcased hard hitting chops from both involved, Naomichi Marufuji winning was good to see, ahead of him facing Kota Ibushi in January [***1/2]. Jake Lee, LJ Cleary, Tadasuke & YO-HEY vs Junta Miyawaki, Kaito Kiyomiya, Ryohei Oiwa & Shuji Kondo: The match was good throughout, all eight men involved did their part in the match and showcased some good in ring work, the post match beatdown from House Of Torture did spoil what was a good match and made the NOAH guys look weak unfortunately [***1/2]. Kazuyuki Fujita, Kenoh & Takashi Sugiura vs Daiki Inaba, Manabu Soya & Masa Kitamiya: This was a decent preview for Kenoh vs Manabu Soya at Ariake on January 2nd, Kenoh pinning Manabu Soya in this main event match however did not make sense as it downs Soya as a potential threat to the title reign of Kenoh and weakens his potential as the challenger, the others involved did their part well [****1/4]"
