[8.0] "This was an excellent episode. Top Flight and the Blackpool Combat Club was a very good opening match. Will Osprey vs. Lee Moriarty was as good as you would expect for a match featuring those two. Despite the fact that we got two squash matches in a row with Brian Cage and the Gates of Agony squashing Evan Rivers and the Voros Twins before Daniel Garcia squashed KM, both matches felt different and helped develop the respective wrestlers' stories. Dax Harwood had a very good match with Tommy Billington, which showed Billington to be a talent to watch for the future. Things fell off as Thunder Rosa and Robyn Renegade couldn't live up to the quality of the rest of the show, but their match still wasn't bad. Finally, Adam Copeland had his second match of the night this week, this time against Kyle O'Reilly."

[7.0] "Pretty good wrestling again on Collision, for me it still misses some good segments and more streamlined stories at the moment to be a top-tier episode. Copeland has the best of his Canada matches, Bryan Danielson & Castagnoli continue to be the hidden gems of the tag team division and there is some nice storybuilding with Bryan's promo where Claudio walks out of, and the bits with Swerve getting more ruthless again. But then there are house show feelings again, with a great showing of Dynamite Kid but what is it for? Will this guy get any programming in the future? Thunder Rosa beats Robyn Renegade in a match nobody cares about because everyone knows what will happen, because we've seen these kinds of matches a hundred times. Daniel Garcia is floating around since his comeback in the C2 which is now almost half a year ago. It's overall enjoyable but also sometimes random."

[7.0] "A solid Collision episode. I wasn't as big on the Adam Copeland/Kyle O'Reilly main event as I was expecting to be, given the talent of those guys and all the good reviews I had heard about that match. Still, there was plenty of good wrestling in this one, especially the opener with Blackpool Combat Club and Top Flight, and it's always great to see Will Ospreay in action. Loved Swerve Stricklands attack against Brian Cage and the Gates of Agony, plus his awesome promo afterward. It's great to see he still hasnt lost that occasional sadistic edge despite being a babyface champion..."

[6.0] "The main event was a pretty crisp match as Adam and Kyle really delivered in the ring. The issue with the show is lack of buildup for the matches. Honestly I think AEW should drop either Collision or Rampage as its too much content being jammed into the schedule. The main event though was good to see and the opening tag team match was solid. Again the lack of build ups is kinda a take back to me as a fan. Still though the show was solid and I think it did some things much better than SmackDown did on Friday."

[6.0] "Collision still feels a bit long to me and there are common issues with some of the matches and their surrounding booking but overall this was a pretty watchable episode. Swerve has maintained his edge and I'm glad to see it. Copeland vs O'Reilly was probably the best of the heatless epics Copeland has had recently. Dax vs Billington felt a little too long for Billington's debut match but was otherwise okay. I've never seen a man so resemble his uncle as Billington does, and at just 23 years old he looks like someone who may become a solid wrestler. The six man tag reminded me that AEW is very good at finding jobbers who look the part, for better or worse. Collision is the show which proves you can sometimes have too much wrestling on a wrestling show. Once you have a weekly timeslot on television the business model changes. You're no longer really making pro wrestling or even sports entertainment. At that point you're in the television business where the goal is to make good TV. Sometimes wrestling can get in the way of that, other times it's great to have. A lot of these matches lacked a real reason to care and that affects the entertainment value. Still, I think Collision has been looking up a bit recently."

[10.0] "This is prolly my favorite collision of the year. Besides the two squash matches this felt like and old school pro wrestling show many of us got hooked on the pro wrestling in the first place. Dax Harwood and Dynamite kid really is a prime example of the classic pro wrestling style that made this feel like a spectacular show. Great show all around can't wait till next week."

[9.0] "Great Collision that felt a little more important than usual with that killer Swerve segment and some more stories surrounding The Elite. Ospreay was here and has that special aura, the opener was very good with Danielson following with a nice promo. We got to see a nice curiosity with that Dynamite Kid nephew! No bad matches, the crowd was awesome for the main event in particular. Now the Rampage after this is skippable, but it's better to have the 3 hours block on Saturday."

[3.0] "The pacing of this show was really bad. A lot of the matches went too long, and the main storyline of AEW vs. the EVPs somehow manages to feel both rushed and drawn out. While I liked Daniels' fired-up promos, we got through them both and set him on a match with the Bucks in just one show - wouldn't it have been better to slow this down a bit and actually build the match? The Mogul Embassy came off turning on Swerve by squashing some skinny geeks (and I actually felt pretty good about them burying the ref on the way), but then Strickland ran in straight away to beat up the Gates and run off Brian Cage, then capped it off with a promo about how people had been thinking he'd gotten soft since he won the championship back at Dynasty. The crowd was pretty good but they were fighting uphill as the matches were largely cold, predictable, and too often pitted babyfaces against one another. Skip."

[7.0] "You know what they say, Collision is for the sickos... this was another great episode of what's the best weekly show in AEW, a lot of solid matches and combinations that are pleasant to watch, I hope they are to keep this quality for a long time, the show's been amazing to watch, great development of stories here."

[6.0] "It was a fine episode..too many useless squashes, the only match that I cared about was Adam Copeland vs KOR and just because i like both. Maybe the only "important" thing about this episode was the Swerve segment. I still think it's stupid that now Swerve is alone against three stables (Elite, Patriarchy and Embassy) but ok, I'll let play it out. The rest is all filler."

[8.0] "A really entertaining show, lots of decent matches and some angkes were progressed and matches set up for Dynamite. The womens match was a rare miss from a stacked division but other wise this show was excellent and the most entertaining wrestling show of the week. The closing match I particularly was of exceptional quality for a TV match and would have not looked out of place on PPV. Kyle and Adam nailed it. It was also cool to see Tommy Billington get a good showing. 95% positives and well worth a watch."

[8.0] "I thought this was a really good show, Collision continues to be AEW's most consistant weekly show. BCC vs. Top Flight was a really solid opener, crowd was super into it. Post-match promo by Bryan was good, too. Moriarty vs. Ospreay was a good showcase for both men. Predictable outcome but the action was fun. The Mogul Embassy had an okay squash. Then in the post-match, as Schiavone was interviewing them, Swerve Strickland came out and took al three out. The champ was finally made look strong, after weeks of beatdowns. Billington vs. Dax was great in my opinion, didn't know what to expect going into it but Billington really impressed me here. Really good stuff all around. Rosa vs. Renegade was forgettable. KOR vs. Copeland was the best match of the night, really intense and physical. Crowd was red hot for it and made the match better. Overall: Collision is the best AEW show at the moment, you can't tell me otherwise. This week's show was filled with good matches and good storylines developments."

[6.0] "A pretty good episode in my mind. Opened with a pretty good Danielson&Claudio vs Top Flight match, ended with a very good Copeland/O'Reilly match and had a very good Swerve segment in-between. Rest of the show was okayish in my mind. The Dax vs Billington match was tad too long for my taste. I did like the progression of storylines on the show and the promos people cut were good, not amazing but good. I enjoyed the ratio of wrestling vs backstage segments in this show better than on Dynamite this week."

[9.0] "Great show. Collision continues to be the best straight wrestling show on TV. The crowd was hot from beginning to end. One of the best crowds this year. The first match was incredible and Bryan remains one of the best parts of every Collision. Ospreay and Moriarty went exactly as you'd expect. Just great pro wrestling. The Mogul Embassy segment was amazing. Swerve continues to look like a great world champion and this was his best yet. Dax vs Dynamite Kid was a blast and a great introduction for the young guy. The main event was really hot. Adam Copeland's run has been incredible in AEW and he gave Kyle O'Reilly the best match of his AEW career. Pleasure to watch!"

[6.0] "This show was alright it started out red hot with Black Pool Combat Club vs Top flight but the show started to fizzle out throughout the rest of the show. Black pool combat clud and top flight was an absolute barn burner which told an amazing story backed with unbelievable in ring technical capabilities. After the match, that heat started to fizzle out as I thought Wills/Lees, the six man tag team match, Dax/Tommy, and then Thunder Rosa/Renegade with mediocre matches. I will say, i am looking forward to see Tommy get more matches in AEW under his belt, I thought he looked really good but felt that his style vs daxs was not a great match for an in-ring debut. But, I did think the show ended superb with Copland/o'reilly match, a really good build with a strong finish. overall, just an ok show."

[10.0] "This was an amazing show, the first 2 matches were some of the best matches we've gotten on weekly AEW tv. This matched was filled with great matches and some nice storytelling. We also got the reveal of some very exciting matches for Dynamite. This was just an overall great show for wrestling and no time wasted on long and unnecessary promos. It really seems like AEW tried very hard to make this a special show. Having Swerve come out to attack the Embassy showing how he can be seen as a badass and showing why he is the AEW world champion."

[8.0] "Fun enjoyable to watch episode of Collision, with some great matches and some enjoyale segments like Swerve Strickland taking out Gates Of Agony. Bryan Danielson & Claudio Castagnoli vs Dante Martin & Darius Martin: A well executed opening tag match that had some great back and forth action, Danielson looked good considering the damage he took at Dynasty in what is his first match since the PPV, TF did their best against the more experienced duo of Castagnoli and Danielson [****]. Will Ospreay vs Lee Moriarty: Ospreay gets another win and gains momentum here with a decent back and forth match that had decent solid back and forth action, Shane Taylor trying to distract Ospreay with the latter hitting the former with a superkick was funny to watch [***1/2]. Brian Cage & Gates Of Agony vs Evan Rivers & The Voros Twins: A pointless squash match [DUD]. Daniel Garcia vs KM: Another squash match that was of no interest [DUD]. Dax Harwood vs Tommy Billington: With this being the first match in AEW of Billington, he did a compelling job against someone like Harwood, earning the respect of Harwood, and the AEW fans, the action was great [***3/4]. Thunder Rosa vs Robyn Renegade: A match that was better than I expected it to be, Renegade improving is good to see, Rosa winning the match was obvious [***]. Adam Copeland vs Kyle O'Reilly: A highly physical back and forth title main event match, it was hard to tell at times who was gonna win, KOR gave it his best and could have won a few times, but Copeland in the end proved that he was just that much better [****1/2]"
