[6.0] "I was in person for this show. While I had fun watching, some of the matches didn't live up to expectations. One match that went hard was Copeland vs. Cage, and was match of the night."

[0.0] "One of the worst wrestling shows I've ever watched. This is coming from somebody who LOVES AEW too. Several matches did NOT need to be on here yet they still did and they sucked. Even the good matches had some dumb DUMB booking (Mainly Adam vs Christian). Even the highs on this show weren't enough for me. The ending should have not happened either. I don't get the logic of NOT pivoting when BOTH wrestlers were hurt. Everyone knew who it was and it damaged a lot. The 8 man tag... don't even get me started dude."

[6.0] "Decent show but it should have been better the end of the show was very good. Good opened the middle part was mainly filler until Copeland VS Christian and the ending was very good."

[3.0] "The only good and neccesary match of the night was the TNT title bout, the rest of the event was full of nonsense wrestling, incomplete stories, and a very bad capabilitie to tell good stories. This PPV was not really needed, what the staff needed was some time to rebuild and gime some more power to the rivalries. If you have the opportunity to miss this event, you should do it. [*1/4]"

[3.0] "The only reason Im not calling this the exact worst match in the company is because there were two great matches here. Mox/Kingston and Edge/Christian were great, everything else was terrible. Mid main event with an awful post match angle, and the single worst three match run Ive ever seen in Swerve/Dustin, the 8 man, and Julia/Abadon. Terrible, no two ways about it."

[3.0] "The worst AEW PPV ever for sure. Only 4 of the 9 matches on the card were decent. The opener is fun, even if pointless. Miro and Andrade is not bad in the ring, but the crowd are absolutely dead for it. Storm and Riho is just another weak match in Storm's Timeless Gimmick. Swerve and Dustin goes for 9 minutes.....WHILE Dustin's foot is supposed to be broken. And it's somehow supposed to make Swerve look strong. Terrible match. The eight man match was just a mock of Chris jericho. Julia Hart VS Abadon was the single worst PPV match of the year. Copeland and Christian have the best match of the night, but they end it with the ridiculous decision to put the title back on Christian. Seriously, Why? Moxley and Kingston had the best match that I didn't feel offended by the booking. It had two good workers having a good, Hard-hitting match. The Main Event is decent. Nothing special but nothing particularly bad... Until the Post-match angle. The Devil storyline was lame and nearly a year after, it's still pointless and bad. This was WCW 2000s level of bad. Half of the matches are bad, the pnes that are good are either pointless or badly booked, and it ends on a bad and not to mention, predictable angle. Awful show."

[5.0] "AEW Worlds End (2023) is a show that felt like it was definitely cursed with the injury bug and backstage drama with contract expirations and supposed allegations towards Chris Jericho and the predictable Devil reveal. There is some fantastic stuff here like the all star tag, Copeland Vs Cage, the Continental Classic final and MJF Vs Joe, but everything in between was mostly depressing. Overall AEW World's End (2023) is a mildly fine show, but the weakest AEW PPV thus far."

"Second worst AEW PPV next to All Out 2020. This was a nothing PPV that has no business existing. Only good match on the card was the opening tag match, and afterwards everything just goes spiraling downhill."

[6.0] "truly good show, not great not awesome but it had very good moments and not so much of bad ones. Yeah it doesn't feel like an important show i give you that."

[6.0] "Not the best AEW ppv. The TNT and Continental Title matches were the best parts. The rest were solid enough though TBS Title match and the Eight man tag match were undeserving of the pov spot and were horrible matches. The main event was solid, Joe looked excellent as the Champion but very disappointed by the Devil reveal and the ending segment- very cliche and absolutely predictable. Solid show but a much lower quality than the ones AEW usually produced."

[7.0] "Was this one of the weaker PPVs AEW put out this year? Yes. The middle of the PPV was relatively standard, none of the matches for the third through sixth spots getting a huge "hell yeah" from me. But this is some of the most forced hate I've ever seen a PPV get, with some really dumb complaints like "why is Swerve doing something so despicable to Dustin" to "we predicted the Devil to be Adam Cole, so the reveal is bad". Most of the matches were fine, with only Julia vs Abadon's being flat out bad, and all of them had either strong character work, exciting action sequences, palpable moments of tension, or in the case of the last three matches, all of the above. Add on an incredible ending, and it makes for a solid PPV overall."

[6.0] "2023 was an awkward year for AEW, and between injuries and some poor booking earlier in the year and in the immediate build, World's End suffered in a lot of ways. When I first reviewed it it was the first PPV I'd seen in person so I wanted to love it, but in hindsight it just wasn't very good. Luckily things have improved since this PPV, and while I do think it's a touch overhated, it definitely marked a low point for AEW's PPV content"

[2.0] "The first match of the show was a good way to start the show but after that the show just dragged with either average matches like Andrade vs Miro or absolute garbage like Abadon vs Julia Hart and it just could not recover. The last 3 matches stopped this over long show from being a dud but werent good enough to bring it back to anything close to resembling this company at their best. Not worth rewatching which is a only and hopefully last time this company has had this issue and luckily 2024 has been much stronger"

[8.0] "I can disagree with the assessment of the show. Well, I have already made sure that I do not agree with the assessment of some matches, too. Yes, I agree that some of the matches weren't really needed, but overall it was a good wrestling show. There were also some nice and unexpected title changes that also added points to the show. Well, in general, the last three matches significantly added points to the show. So I'm willing to give it 8/10"

[6.0] "Backloaded card for sure. The last 3 matches were the most memorable. The show was off at so many points. Andrade and Miro both felt like they didn't want to be there. Swerve and Keith Lee once again is getting moved. The back to back 8 man and TBS championship matches really made for a dull point in the evening. Edge and Christian brought it up and they had a fun swerve with Christian getting the belt back. The C2 ending was the highlight of the night. It felt like the only match that was not super predictable as it could go either way but they gave the crowd the feel good moment of Kingston climbing the mountain. Overall it was a good show but nothing that I would want to go back and rewatch."

[4.0] "This show wasn't born under a bright star with Jericho's allegations, Andrade leaving the company and Keith Lee being pulled out of the card last minute due to injury compromised what didn't look like the best Aew show ever on paper and, in fact, it was even worse than I thought it was. The worst AEW Pay-Per-View all of time, even worse than All Out 2020. The opening eight men tag was good altough a bit dissapointing. Miro vs. Andrade, Storm vs. Riho and Swerve vs. Rhodes were all forgettable. Not terrible matches but nothing remarkable. Plus Storm vs. Riho ending sucked and CJ Perry turning on Andrade doesn't make any sense altough I get why they did it. The other eight men tag was the second worst match of the night. Not even considering Jericho's allegations the match totally sucked as the action was boring with plenty of mistakes and the crowd didn't give two shits about it unliess it was for cheering Sting or booing Jericho. Abadon vs. Hart was the worst match of the night, just terrible stuff all around. Abadon is not PPV worthy and Julia is still green and needs to work a lot more. Copeland vs. Christian, instead, was the best match of the night, extremely fun and entertaining with lots of cool spots. The contract cash-in angle was great with Christian becoming the "ultimate opportunist" and Killswitch winning and costing Copeland the title in the same night. Moxley vs. Kingston looked great on paper but the match turned out to be a major dissapointment. It was good but something just never clicked. But I'm extremely happy Eddie won, he truly deserved it. Joe vs. MJF was a good main event, a bit boring at times but overall enjoyable. Joe winning is the right choice as MJF's reign kinda sucked as of late. The post-match angle that revealed Adam Cole as the Devil was great, really nice ending to a mediocre show. Cole, despite being predictable, was the best choice possible and totally make sense. Same thing for the goones, predictables but they make sense. 2024 is starting with Joe as champion and Cole leader of heel faction so that means no more corny and "sports entertaining" bullshit. Overall: terrible show, AEW's worst PPV of all time. Also one of the worst crowds for a PPV ever, they were silent for the majority of the night and even ruined some matches (Rhodes vs. Swerve, Riho vs. Storm) because they were cheering for the heels. 2023 has been a great for PPVs but this was a total miss."

[6.0] "After a while, the ambiance of an AEW show felt very weird for various reasons: an underwhelming send-off for Andrade, a cloud of allegations toward one of the first-ballot stars, and a string of weirdly built rivalries (especially the 'Devil' storyline) that culminated in the event. To the fortune of the fans, the final layer of matches (Christian/Copeland, Kingston/Moxley & MJF/Joe) satisfied, making Worlds End a watchable show. Apart from those, the red-hot opener and the natural shocker in the main event's ending added more weight on the positive scale. 6.25 out of 5 stars!"

[7.0] "If you were to look at this PPV from the outside looking in based on it's score. You would think it was a bad or medicore PPV. I think that's too harsh. I believe this is a Average PPV. It had 2 fantastic matches(Eddie Vs. Mox, and Copeland Vs. Cage), 2 great matches(Joe Vs. MJF, and The first 8 Man of the night), along with several below average to good matches (Miro Vs. Andrade(A), Toni Storm Vs. Riho(A), Julia Vs. Abadon(BA), and even Swerve Vs. Dustin Rhodes(BA)). Leaving only 1 bad match(The second 8 man tag of the night). I just can't bring myself to rate a show that has 2 fantastic matches, 2 great matches anything below average."

[6.0] "This show is a mixed bag. The first 8-man tag and those last three matches were good matches, but every match in between sucked. I dont like how they kept Jericho on the show as well."

[5.0] "[5.0] A very rough and crippled show. Opener 8-Man was fine although being a very generic aew multi-man tag match and, Daniel Garcia as the pinner for a crowd pleasing moment was a good decision to start the show [6.75]. Miro v Andrade was a completely unnecessary feud. Andrade is out and he saved himself, good. Who's gonna save Miro? The decision to turn CJ on Andrade makes sense when you point towards to the news but in kayfabe, it's awful. Broadcast team tried to save that moment but even if CJ was upset with Andrade's performance looking at his past, the man lost multiple managers. Never got a proper chance, never got to lead LFI at all. Andrade's AEW run was a complete disaster until his C2 run where he finally competed in matches where they mattered to showcase his forgotten talent once again. The match itself overstayed its welcome too [5.0]. Storm v Riho did not click. Crowd did not care (this time and for whatever reason) much about their babyface. Toni is getting reaction, good for her but his reign once again started to suck so bad. We need Hayter and Mariah to step in asap. Riho, to me, is no longer a credible opponent. She shows up to take a title shot and disappears again. No buildup, no character work on Riho's part. This became a pattern [4.0]. Swerve v Dustin was also unnecessary. Dustin with a battered ankle lasted 10 mins against Swerve. Alright he's a tough sonofabitch and a total old schooler we get it but for real he got cinder block shattered on his ankle. It's not about Dustin making a last stand it's more about Swerve not being able to defeat Dustin in that amount of time. I am not exactly mad how the match went and it was definitely ok for a last min match but why don't just save it for Dynamite? And now it made sense why Keith Lee was absent but they really could not make sure of his injury until the very last moment? It was already a last min match, did not have a proper buildup and now it's almost became impossible to get invested in it. Once again, Lee v Swerve is lost and in a very unfortunate way [4.5]. 2nd 8-man tag of the night was a complete disaster and I knew it was going to be at least mediocre beforehand when it was initially announced. Yet, it actually turned out worse than I anticipated. They slap Sting in it, fine as he's having his last tour but this match actually damages his lineage of matches. Darby and Sammy tried but there nothing much salvagable. Sammy pinning Starks is a complete ridicule. Hobbs or preferably Bill can eat the pin. Why one of your future stars who beat your two of top dogs only a few months ago ate the pin? Don Callis Family is no better than The Firm. They are lost [2.75]. Hart v Abadon was a complete slowpoke slogfest that could only serve as a piss break. Sorry but as much as I don't like Abadon's character I admit it was a good relation to Hart's and they have the most generic match ever where strikes did not connect in a botchfest. Blue interference was also obvious though it was necessary to set up a tag team (and probably lead to an eventual breakup where Blue will challange for the TBS title). We witnessed one of the worst AEW PPV matches of the all time, if not the worst though [2.5]. Copeland v Cage is easily the MOTN. Very physical and personal. Copeland overcoming Cage without any help is actually a very good decision. It had strong bumps and bonker moments like Wayne's table spot. Post-match moment is even better as I think going into 2024 with Patriarch retaining the title (not retaining but you know) is a better story. It should have not ended there where Christian is at the very top of his game. He somehow managed to convince Killswitch but we are getting to the closure and good old Lucha should be the one who'd be starting the fall of dominoes. My only complaint would be the fact TNT Title contact served as a prop to include Adam in the TNT lineage (cmon we all knew Tony was not passing on this opportunity) without having Christian lose the title. I also predicted Killswitch was going to be in the TNT royale and going to win it. Eh, still, it's good [8.25]. Speaking of predictability, Mox v Kingston was completely it. It was predictable but it served a great purpose in Eddie's story. Achieving his dream in a tale where he clashed with his former mate. It's good psychology which reflected in the ring as well. However, it was not all about the finish and the story. The match structure itself was quite predictable too. Eddie's arsenal (as well as his speed) is limited and he needs to find a better work around other than spamming northern light bombs, infinite chops and uraken. He's still a great brawler&striker though, don't get me wrong [8.0]. MJF v Joe was better than expected. Thankfully it was not overbooked and MJF getting choked out in his hometown is a great shocker moment. It's how you establish a more dominant force in the title picture so I don't necessarily think it was not befitting. The devil reveal was also quite good. It being predictable is exactly what saved that very moment. The transition (with a blackout) is what could you do with an injured Cole and ngl it looked kinda cool. Better than the Devil standing off on top of Max to unmask himself or something like that. Goons are also bullseye choices, predicted by pretty much everyone (perhaps minus Wardlow but his promos referred to a potential link). Playing safe here will work. If not today, in the future I want to see KoR with them. You can even further expand this stable. You can have Righteous (where Adam was also in cohoots with them). You can have some debuts in there. I hope it'll turn out great. It was not 'the' Pinnacle some anticipated but I hope it is going to turn into a better one [7.5]. I am also upset that HoB v FTR was not featured on the card and threw into a Collision show where the card had so many matches without no heat. It only lead to a 4 hrs long show where it was not needed to be this long and this crowded."

[7.0] "Some pretty weak matches overall but near the end some pretty solid ones. I enjoyed Mox and Kingston giving it a solid 3.75 stars outta 5 and I'd say the same for Samoa Joe and MJF. I'm glad the title changed hands as it was needed just due to the horrid story of the Bromigos [or whatever] and the "Devil" storyline that was going nowhere. Samoa Joe as world champ is one of the bigger positives coming out of this. If I was actually allowed to rate this overall card and show I'd say a solid 7/10 but I might be going too generous on that."

[5.0] "Everyone knew going in this was a three-match show, and indeed it was a three-match show. Those three matches, particularly Copeland/Cage and Kingston/Moxley, slapped and saved what was otherwise a bad show. Would have served perfectly well as a Dynamite special or a Battle of the Belts. This is why AEW shouldn't go to monthly pay-per-views."

[4.0] "A strong contender for one of the weakest AEW PPVs overall. The first two thirds of the show were somewhat lacking in energy and heat, and the matches themselves were very skippable. Of course, the absence of Kenny and Keith Lee made some changes necessary, which has to be considered but no matter Tony Khan says, after a year has passed, it's certainly not the right time to finally do the Swerve/Lee blow off. That was purely filler, and even that filler had to be changed. TBS title match was nothing to write home about, the preshow ladies match was much more enjoyable. While it did pick up toward the end, even those matches had their weaknesses and the big Devil's reveal was kind of anticlimacic and a let down."

[5.0] "A very uneven show with some high highs, but also some major lows. The final three-match stretch is the best of the night, with the hard-hitting tournament final between Kingston and Mox being my favorite of the night in terms of match quality; Edge vs. Christian was also very entertaining, and Joe got a good main event out of a banged-up MJF. Besides Joe winning the belt, the other big story coming out of the main was the reveal of Adam Cole as "the devil;" a fairly obvious reveal, but obvious doesn't necessarily equal bad and it was well-executed. As to the undercard, the show started strong with a good eight-man involving the other Continental Classic participants, but the rest was pretty weak - Miro vs Andrade, in the latter's final AEW appearance, was rather flat; Toni vs Riho was OK though Toni still hasn't quite hit the right in-ring balance between character hijinks and in-action (still love her gimmick though, and she'll get it there); Swerve vs Dustin went way too long for what should have been a quick replacement match starting with an injury angle; neither Julia nor Abadon are really ready to carry that long and high-profile a match against a similarly-experienced opponent, leading to what was somewhat of a dud; and with recent controversy, Jericho's involvement in the other 8-man served as a distraction to what was already largely a messy throwaway match. In a pinch, it's definitely best to just watch those last three matches, and throw in the opener if you have time."

[7.0] "The last 3 matches definitely made this show. Without a doubt my favorite match was Moxley vs Kingston. Then I would say Joe Vs MJF especially since Joe is champion now. Then I would say Copeland vs Cage. The opening Eight man tag was a good match as well. I definitely recommend checking out this show for those 4 matches mainly."

[8.0] "I think it's a solid show but not a great one, 3 solid matches to start the show and 3 solid to great matches to end the show and a big title change and reveal at the end makes it a good show despite the weak spots in the middle of the show that actually prevent the show from being more than good"

[6.0] "I was there live. Third row ringside seats. Fun experience, but the show was a little underwhelming by AEW pay per view standards. Especially from a work rate perspective. It felt more like a WWE show, with storylines taking precedent over work rate. Not a bad thing. But not what AEW is known for. Christian-Copeland for TNT title was easily the best match. With the All Star 8 man tag and Continental Classic finals not far behind it. The 8 man tag featuring Sting and Jericho was sloppy. As well as the TBS title match. Overall, a fun but flawed show. If you're looking to get into AEW, look into watching another show."

[5.0] "As of now, this feels like AEW's worst PPV. It didn't have lows as low as All Out 2020, but there was a full 5 match stretch here that just kinda sucked. Where nothing connected, nobody was into anything. It kinda starts to pull it together by the last 3 matches, but the goofy booking around Cage-Copeland stains that one a bit, and while MJF-Joe was good, it certainly failed to have the aura the moment of a 400+ day world titile run ending called for. Joe felt secondary to the moment. Not good. The one truly great match here was Kingston-Mox. And while it was great, we've had so many great matches in AEW. There have been bigger highs on more consistent cards. So eh. Not egregiously bad. But bad. Not the way to end the year."

[7.0] "Even though it's far from the best PPVs AEW has ever done, it's not the worst (barely), the last three matches completely saved the night. The biggest problem with this PPV is the fact that it doesn't even need to exist and was poorly constructed, All Out with one week was better constructed than this card that features a bunch of Rampage-level matches. 8-man Tag (****), Miro vs. Andrade (**1/2), Toni vs. Riho (**1/2), Swerve vs. Dustin (***1/4), 8-man tag 2: excuse to put Sting on the card (**1/4), Julia vs. Abadon: worst match of the night (**). Now let's get to the part that saved the PPV, Christian vs. Copeland (****1/2), Kingston vs. Moxley (****1/4), MJF vs. Joe (****). And oddly enough I thought the devil segment was well done (6.5/10)"

[6.0] "Probably AEW's weakest PPV to date. That being said it still had 4 really good, highly entertaining matches."

[4.0] "Lots of matches with no place on a PPV, a slightly disappointing main event and above all a Jericho who shouldn't have wrestled."

[7.0] "I need to go into great detail to explain the feeling that this PPV left me. I agree with many people that this was not AEW's best PPV of the year, but let's not exaggerate. First, the 4v4 fight was entertaining in a way, there was great synchronicity with moments of lack of coordination on the part of those involved, but it was a very enjoyable fight. The fight between Miro vs Andrade felt very anticlimactic, especially because of the news that Andrade was going to WWE, for this reason I couldn't enjoy this fight 100%, but I'm not going to crucify them for this, honestly, the fight lowest of the event. Toni vs Riho was a watchable fight, not a big deal, but enjoyable in a way. For me, a very underrated fight on the card was Swerve vs. Dustin, the psychology in both was noticeable and I would say that it was affected to a certain extent by the low audience participation in much of the show. The most tense fight of the show, I will not refer to it because of everything that happened with Jericho in the last few hours. Very low fight between Julia and Abadon, by far the worst I have seen from Julia this year, I hope she can improve because she is still young. Here comes by far the fight of the night and the one I had the most faith in, Adam vs Cage did not disappoint at all, with physical, psychological and emotional touches, they had a great battle in the ring and with a somewhat strange ending they ended with the victory by Copeland and in a clever twist, Kill's victory in the KickOff battle royal is taken into account so that he gave the contract to Cage and he could win the TNT Championship again. Smart booking. The fight between Eddie and Mox was fantastic, something that further catapulted the poor performance of the PPV at one point. Psychology and a lot of physicality to continue with this battle that again the public was not 100% involved. Finally, a main event with a very anticlimactic ending, but with a correct winner. Joe deserved this opportunity very much and I was very happy for him. The ending delivering the revelation of the devil was executed correctly by the company, I have no complaints about it. To conclude, I repeat, it was not AEW's best PPV of the year, but it is not to kill it 100%. 7/10."

[5.0] "Some really good stuff on this show like Edge/Christian Mox/Kingston and the opening 8-man tag, but then theres some complete dogshit like Abandon vs Julia or whatever the other 8-man tag was. Joe vs MJF was good, Andrade/Miro was rock solid and everything else was below average including the devil reveal but at least thats finally over with and the story can progressi"

[6.0] "it wasn't terrible, but still disappointing! except the TNT Title Match, I didn't see anything special. Continental Classic lost its value for me after I saw the final competitors, and it felt like nothing interesting to me. World Title match result was the right decision to take it from MJF and the match itself was good. the Devil story made sense to me because except Adam, it wouldn't have fitted anybody. the opener was good but other matches, were so mid or even bad and had nothing to say. this show wanted to be a banger with lots of cards but it couldn't, because of terrible booking."

"6 out of 10. AEW is typically exceptionally consistent at putting on great PPVs, although I think the company has become over reliant on waiting until a week before the actual show to start building the card and announcing the matches. The build to this show was deplorable. They announced the MJF vs Samoa Joe main event a month in advance, and had plenty of time to build the rest of the card, but instead waited until the last Dynamite before the show to announce 80% of the matches. This in of itself dragged this show down considerably for me going into it, although poor builds never really prevent these shows from being fun to watch. Worlds End felt like a show brought down by overstuffed filler matches, with the Jericho, Guevara, Sting and Darby vs Starks, Bill and DCF 8-man tag in particular as well as the TBS title match bringing down the middle portion of the show. Thankfully, the opening 8-man ensured the show started off hot with guys like Daniel Garcia and Brody King getting great showings, and Bryan Danielson vs Jay White was thrilling. The final three matches on the card saved this show from being one of AEWs very worst. Christian Cage and Adam Copeland (Im still getting used to calling him that) had a ridiculously fun plunder-laden affair with some great callbacks, and Ive fallen in love with Christians comically evil gimmick. Kingston vs Moxley was match of the night, a true meat slapping war that wouldnt feel out of place on an early 90s All Japan show. The C2 has been a breath of fresh air for the tournament, though I feel that the winner getting a world title shot at Revolution would make a lot more sense than gifting Eddie Kingston with yet another belt that AEW doesnt need. MJF and Samoa Joe closed the show with a really thrilling main event that maybe didnt reach the highs of their first, but was a fitting end to Maxs record setting reign. The Adam Cole devil reveal was predictable, although extremely well done and Im very excited to see where the story goes from here. Overall, had the show been shorter with a bigger emphasis on the more heated matches on the card, it wouldve been a great show, but I seriously dont think they can justify continuously doing 4-5 hour PPVs filled with filler matches, especially if theyre planning on expanding the amount of shows they do annually. This was perhaps AEWs second weakest pay-per-view of the year after Double or Nothing, so Im really hoping they can see where they went wrong here and craft a really excellent show for Revolution in March."

[4.0] "This was my first AEW PPV and this has not convinced me to start watching the product. The middle of this card is such a hard watch, and none of the matches at the end make up for what happened in the middle. I'll say a lot of dark clouds hung over this with the Keith Lee injury, Andrade news, and Jericho scandal, but still expected a little bit more out of this card."

[5.0] "I enjoyed the Edge vs Christian match. I thought the tournament final was good but nowhere near as good as some thought. And I thought the main even was fine if not spectacular. I wasn't offended by the reveal at the end. Everything else wasn't worth my time. This is, by far, the worst PPV AEW have put on in their short history."

[4.0] "Can never be too high a rating as I skipped an entire block of the card. Both women's matches were predictable, Dustin Rhodes was not the ideal replacement for Keith Lee, and the Jericho issue hung over his tag match. What I did watch was mainly good, with the opening tag being an unfortunate MOTN. The two best performers tonight were two of what'll likely be 2024's cornerstones - Adam Copeland and Samoa Joe. Both had presence and crowd-connection unlike most others. While Kingston has great crowd connection, his match was weirdly heatless for the most part."

"Mediocre, but there were some very good matches. Every match on the card was, however, extremely predictable."

[6.0] "The main problem is that everything between the opener and Cage/Copeland is from average to boring and man we are talking about the half of the card (despite one match is literally 12 seconds). Only four matches are worth watching , and one of them even underdelivered. MOTN was Cage/Copeland. ***1/4"

[4.0] "This was MID. Only giving it 4 points because the last 3 matches of the card, Daniel Garcia having a moment was nice. I feel like TK did solid with what he wrote up for himself STORY wise on some of these matches... Something AEW has been lacking recently, Miro match was decent but the ending was stupid why have Andrade kick out just to tap out 2 seconds later.. Toni Storm carries the Womens division and Riho is bad moving on... Swerve has a match that probably could of been 2 minutes but went on for what felt like 20 against an old and buried Goldust and speaking of old and buried Chris Jericho yea he doesn't need to work another match in AEW I'm sorry for the few fans he has left because wow he lost all respect from me. TK you need to apologize to some victims on behalf of your company for being responsible and having people like Jeribloat be an EVP but I digress I am being very off topic and I apologize. But Jericho worked quite possibly his worst match ever a day after all these rumors about him resurface, quite odd to me. Christian and Edge worked the best match on the card but that was a given when we saw the card for this thing. Eddie and Mox had a freaking amazing match as well and yes, for those who might be a more casual viewer it isn't going to be the most entertaining thing and at multiple points it was really nothing more than a slapping contest but man I love seeing the story of Eddie Kingsron evolve this man was about to quit the wrestling business entirely at one point but he never gave up and always spit straight venom on the mic and you see that venom come out still in AEW sometimes. Also I loved the main event albeit it was predictable as hell and Samoa Joe kind of looks weak now not being able to take down an injured dehabilitated MJF quickly and instead working a nearly 20 minute match with him where he didnt even really dominate that much."

[6.0] "Bryan Danielson, Claudio Castagnoli, Daniel Garcia & Mark Briscoe vs Brody King, Jay Lethal, Jay White & Rush: A good way to start World's End PPV, they all shined in this match, Daniel Garcia getting the win for his team was a good booking decision [****1/4]. Andrade El Idolo vs Miro: There were a couple of things wrong with this match, the first one was the length of the match was too long could have easily have been 9-10 minutes long and would have been ideal, the second one was the quality wasn't fully there, if this is the last match in AEW for Andrade El Idolo then it was not a great way to send him off, CJ Perry turning on Andrade El Idolo was shocking, the result was not surprising [**]. Toni Storm vs Riho: This match did under deliver, Toni Storm with her timeless character is getting annoying now, there were a few moments of good action but for the most part did not deliver [**]. Swerve Strickland vs Dustin Rhodes: This match should not have even begun once Swerve Strickland hit the stomp on Dustin Rhodes ankle ontop of the cinder block, the match was never gonna be good after that, I don't understand why the match even took place, the result was obvious [DUD]. Chris Jericho, Darby Allin, Sammy Guevara & Sting vs Big Bill, Konosuke Takeshita, Powerhouse Hobbs & Ricky Starks: Sting looked great when he was tagged in, Sammy Guevara pinning one half of the tag team champions makes for interesting watching and see where it goes from here, it was a decent match, did enjoy watching it, all others involved did their part well [***1/4]. Julia Hart vs Abadon: They had a half decent match to be honest, there was some good action but the interference from Skye Blue ruined it, Julia Hart winning was not surprising as it was obvious [**]. Christian Cage vs Adam Copeland: This match was better than their first match in AEW, Adam Copeland and Christian Cage took it to each other and more, the flaming table spot from Adam Copeland to Nick Wayne was cool to see, and Adam Copeland winning the title albeit not for long was the right choice [****1/2]. Adam Copeland vs Christian Cage [2]: Could not believe that Cage ordered Killswitch to hand over the contract that Killswitch had won earlier in the night, this did not sit well with me as im sure with a lot of fans [-*]. Eddie Kingston vs Jon Moxley: Banger of a tournament final for the 2023 C2, Eddie Kingston finally able to defeat Jon Moxley was a bittersweet moment and to make him a triple crown champion, they went at it in a physical war as expected and hope to see them fight again down the road [****1/4]. Samoa Joe vs MJF: The injury for MJF did impact the match for sure even if he did gave a courageous effort, some brutal spots including the muscle buster on the apron and all the arm work that Samoa Joe did to MJF, it was sadly an average match in my opinion, MJF losing the title given his injury/injuries was sadly obvious, and the post match beatdown and Adam Cole revealed as the devil were shocking [**1/4]."

[5.0] "Not a great show, not even a good one, but still strangely watchable for me. It's rare that I can get through one of these in one sitting but I managed it with this and that has to count for something, even if looking back I thought many of the matches were below standard. The post-match between Copeland and Cage was move-for-move a direct copy of Moose vs Josh Alexander from a while back, but despite the flaws with the story, the weird acting at times, Christian getting a bit cartoony on occasion as a villain and so on, I still think their feud is one of the better paced feuds in the company right now, and their match (the most entertaining of the night for me) was a continuation of that."

[6.0] "This was a weak outing for AEW to close the year. We opened with a very good match between the Blackpool Combat Club, Daniel Garcia, and Mark Briscoe and Brody King, Jay Lethal, Jay White, and Rush. We then got a dull Miro match, as if all Miro matches aren't dull. This one's against a departing Andrade El Idolo, so there's not much heat on that side, either. We follow that up with the mediocre Toni Storm vs. Riho Women's Title Match, which is severely hindered by the fact that the outcome is painfully obvious. At this point, the curse on this show really sets in as Dustin Rhodes steps in against Swerve Strickland at the last minute. They do their best, but the match is not great. we then got a fairly dire match between Chris Jericho, Sammy Guevara, Darby Allin, and Sting, and Ricky Starks, Big Bill, and the Don Callis Family. We then continued the terrible wrestling as Julia Hart attempts to carry Abadon to a decent TBS Title Match, and fails. Things pick up immensely as Adam Copeland and Christian Cage face off in a stellar No-DQ Match for the TNT Title. Copeland actually wins, but Killswitch gives Cage his contract, so we also get an immediate rematch. We then get the finals of the Continental Classic, as Eddie Kingston and Jon Moxley face off in the Match of the Night. Finally, MJF defends his World Title against Samoa Joe in a very good match, especially considering how injured MJF was."

[6.0] "the weakest PPV that AEW has put on EVER! I understand some people might bring up some of the pandemic era but they did not have even half of the talent or experience that they do now back then."

[3.0] "Man that show was pretty tough to watch, the crowd was fucking ice cold during most of these matches but to be fair most matches didn't give them much to react to. A lot of these matches went too long just for the sake of having a mindless competitive bout, it had the usual overbooking and some anticlimactic finishes. I'm not a regular watcher, I tried to give this show a chance but I always see the same flaws. It was mostly boring and long, honestly I'm surprised to see the length of some of these matches because they felt like twice as long."

[8.0] "Dont deserve the hate it gets. A lot of smart booking decisions with the most important ones of put the the belts on Joe and Eddie and revealing the devil as Cole, which also the reveal itself was done really good. The last 3 matches were pretty good, answered my exceptions, there a lot of opportunities to fall down by the road but the booking stayed strong and solid."

[6.0] "Unfortunately, despite a really good opener and the last 3 matches being really good. Everything in between proved to be a massive drag. It was a good showing for Andrade's last AEW match and while the main event wasn't as good as it could've been, Samoa Joe looked great and should hopefully represent the AEW world title quite well. Edge and Christian had a fantastic showing and the move to give the title to Edge to a few minutes only to pass it back to Christian is a confusing decision but works in the long run. Lastly, I think while the Devil reveal was well done it's a pity it was dragged out way too much for people to really be wowed by the reveal of Adam Cole having betrayed MJF."
