[8.0] "A well-structured show. First, the opening segment with the Hangman vs Strong match was perfect the way it played out. The three involved gave a fresh start to the show, the battle between Page and Strong was very physical with great synchronization between the two to lift the audience. Afterwards, the fight between Andrade vs. King was spectacular, a very physical battle between both with pure drama until the end, I thought about King's victory, but that Andrade would take the victory was very surprising on my part. Here comes the low part of the night, the segment between Jericho and Starks was very soporific with boring touches, this segment was so bad that it almost lost my attention from the program. Later, came the women's fight that was short, but effective and I hope that Riho and Toni Storm have some type of promo in front of the public so that the rivalry gradually heats up. The fight between Rush and Lethal was very short, it is not even necessary to analyze it. The White vs Briscoe battle was correct, a little snack before the ME. This fight was pleasant and very psychological with the public involved in it at all times. Finally, the main event was perfect, a good physical and psychological fight between both, but I think that Swerve's victory was not necessary, regardless of whether it was cheated, I think it was not necessary. But the fight was very good, one of the best that this tournament has left so far and I hope it can be repeated later between the two because they can easily give 5-star fights. 9/10 for this program."

[5.0] "While the in-ring work in the Continental Classic has been very good, some of the finishes have become a little bit repetitive. Andrade vs Brody was by some distance my favorite match of the night. These two have been among the standouts in the tournament and have furthered their positions. However, for all these positives, I didn't enjoy the Golden Jets segment, and AEW's handling of Omega, in particular, hasn't been encouraging. The Devil angle is also not to my tastes, and considering some of the plotholes and bad production it had along the way, there's a long way to go before it's passable."

[7.0] "I thought this was a really good show but something was just missing from it to make it great. The opening segment between Joe, Hangam and Roddy was really good and Page vs. Strong was a nice opener. Andrade vs. Brody was the best match of the night, the blue league is eating the gold league alive in terms of in-ring quality and stories being told. Riho vs. Soho was really solid, the women's division really missed Riho who can have a good match with anybody and this felt like Ruby's best perfomance in a while. Really excited for the Storm/Riho program. Golden Jets' segment with Ricky Starks and Big Bill was bad, whenever Starks had the mic it was okay but Omega was stumbling over his own words and anytime Jericho had the mic, it was just bad. I don't hate Jericho but all the programs he has been involved in 2023 started well but ended up being awful, the Starks feud, Cole fued, Don Callis feud without mentioning the Action Andretti upset leading up to nothing. And now he's holding back Omega from being a main event guy. Rush vs. Lethal was okay, it's a shame these two only had 4 minutes but overall it was good for what it was. White vs. Briscoe was good, not on the level of their first match back in November but still enjoyable. Swerve vs. Moxley was really good but kinda dissapointing. The ending, especially, really hurt the match for me: it came too much outta nowhere and Swerve's shoulders weren't even on the mat. This would have been a perfect draw to keep both men strong but I guess TK it's just too scared of draws. The closing segment with The Devil and his goones attacking Hangman was great, haven't been really into this Devil program but the opening and the ending segments were both really good. Overall: it was a good show, some matches delivered, some other matches underdelivered, the promos were good but nothing special and there it was a good storyline progression."

[5.0] "MOTN was Idolo/King to me. Most other stuff was mid to bad. Mox/Swerve was an okay enough match. Mox has his big moves but he seems like he's on autopilot more these days, unless it's a big big match. The Omega promo was just rancid. After hearing about his health issues maybe that had something to do with it but it was Nash-ian in how little he gave a damn. Glad Jay White won, Poor Jay Lethal they massacred my boy, poor Ruby they massacred my girl, and I think Page got targeted at the end of the show because the Devil's men saw how badly he missed his finisher earlier and didn't have to worry so much."

"This was another good episode. We opened with Adam Page vs. Roderick Strong in a good match. We then got a surprise Blue League Match in the Continental Classic (at least for those of us who forgot to check the match graphics ahead of time), as Brody King and Andrade El Idolo faced off in an excellent match that rivalled the Main Event in quality. We then got a fine match between Riho and Ruby Soho that was overshadowed by Toni Storm's antics at the commentary table. We finally got a disappointing match in the Continental Classic, this time from the Gold League as Rush defeated Jay Lethal in 4 minutes. It's all Gold League, all the time as we get another Continental Classic match between Jay White and Mark Briscoe. This is a good match, but I felt like it could be better. Finally, we hit the Gold League of the Continental Classic again for the Match of the Night, as Jon Moxley and Swerve Strickland face off in another excellent match."

[8.0] "The Continental Classic has been a boon for the quality of AEW as of late, and this episode demonstrates it in spades. However, the out-of-ring action had some rather glaring misfires which puts a ceiling on how high one can really rate the show, most notably the Golden Jets segment; Jericho has spent so much time as an outstanding heel in AEW that his apparent face turn isn't really clicking."

[8.0] "Really good show match-wise this week. Match of the night belongs to Andrade and Brody going ham. I liked Hangman's role this week, his exchange with Joe was great, the match with Roddy was great and the final beatdown by the devil's goons plays into the ongoing main event storyline. The Continental Classic matches continue to shine. Commentary was good all night with the highlight being Toni Storm during the women's match, something I did not necessarily expect. Her character work cracked up the crew a lot. Main event was really good as well, even though the finish was a bit botched. I am expecting these two to meet again in two weeks, where Swerve goes over to enter the finals against Danielson (whom he also owes a victory over). Only real miss of the night was the promo with Kenny, Jericho, Starks and Big Bill. It started awkward, didn't click and felt weird all the way, leaving everyone less over by the end of it. That feud is cold and everyone needs something else to do."

[8.0] "solid and exciting episode! matches were either above average or great, so from the wrestling aspect it was awesome. from the other perspectives, it had lack of good promos or segments that the final scene which was the Devil, was the most exciting thing in this episode if we put the matches aside. but I'm still thinking that why don't they use Ibushi or Takeshita or Fletcher in these episodes? what's the problem? Toni Storm on the commentary looked very well, and I love to see her more in that position. all in all, I enjoyed this episode, and it goes head to head with the Collision, for the best show of this week."

[8.0] "Solid episode, a lot of great matches, I just think it lacked some star-power and importance since it's the Winter is Coming, I think it's the first time Winter is Coming didn't had the World Title on the line, and I know Max is maybe injured but I think this should have some really big match and it didn't, but still great episode, every match was good. This was more rushed than the usual, and really didn't had any good segment, the Jericho/Kenny vs Starks/Big Bill promo battle was funny but at the same time awkward, and the cliffhanger at the end really didn't hyped me."

[9.0] "On the wrestling side, this was a very enjoyable episode of Dynamite. The C2 is delivering on its promises, and it's been so refreshing to see matches end without interference/distractions. The Swerve/Moxley match was my Match of the Night, but Page/Strong and Andrade/King both over-delivered. I can't wait to see how they book the final weeks of the C2 -- there's legitimate unpredictability (which is rare in pro wrestling). On the non-wrestling side, I thought these moments were good/great: (1) the promo work between Samoa Joe/Strong/Hangman added intrigue to the Devil storyline by layering in new feuds and personalities, (2) the Wardlow pre-tape was a great use of 90 seconds, and (3) the show-closing attack on Hangman was a welcome development as it continues to eliminate candidates from the pool. On the other hand, the Golden Lovers/Big Bill & Starks stuff was an example of why not all "worked shoots" are effective. All four guys are charismatic in their own way (and they may win us back with a great Winter is Coming performance), but the messages they tried to convey on this episode were somehow both goofy and too self-serious. It also took way too long (though I'll take a bad unscripted promo every now and then to ensure they we don't get scripted promos all the time)."

[8.0] "A really good episode of dynamite, again an episode where the C2 matches didn't quite reach the highs of the match quality of Blue League on Collision but there was some nice variety and everything still hit the spot. Roddy-Hangman was an excellent opener and Riho-Soho was a really good match, Riho looked great and Soho had her best performance in what felt like ages. Me personally, the Devil stuff is really hitting for me at the moment, I really enjoyed the opening promo segment involving Joe, Hangman and Roddy, and we get another devil appearance, but a Devil who is looking far more built than the skinnier guy who was under the mask when they first appeared. I went in feeling like the show was too stacked but everything got the time it needed too mostly. Two complaints. One, the Jericho stuff needs to come to a conclusion and then we need a break from him on our screen. I think everything he has done in the last twelve months have had really promising intriguing beginnings, the Action Andretti defeat, the Ricky Starks feud, the Cole feud and the first few weeks of him potentially becoming part of the Don Callis family. But everytime, as things progress, he does just sucks the life out of it. The Enzo Amore line was quite funny but him coming up with tag team names was god awful. It's a shame because when Kenny or Ricky was talking, I didn't mind this at all. Second, the finish to Moxley-Swerve was lame. Tony has been too scared to use time limit draws in this tournament and this is my one complaint. Because this match *needed* a time limit draw to set up an exciting semi final encounter more than it needed Swerve being screwed to set it up. I think the only way I'd really be into this result is if Moxley loses to White next week and you set up a triple threat semi final, which I think is a lesser story. I think Moxley-Kingston is the logical final here, and having Moxley as unbeaten vs the coming from behind Kingston is the story here and one they teased earlier in the year. I just wish if that ends up being the direction we could've done more to protect Swerve here."

[7.0] "This show had four very good matches with Page vs Strong, Andrade vs King, White vs Briscoe, and Moxley vs Strickland. However, everything outside of bell to bell was terrible. We had guys in jackets with a devil's mask on the back of them doing attacking with a man in the devil's mask sitting in the car. It was late WCW level terribleness. The promotion built the Von Erichs would appeal on the last episode. They were on screen for 30 seconds, 20 of which had Orange Cassidy speaking. The Jericho and Omega promo was one of the worst in company history. That all being said, I'm giving a 7 due to the quantity of good wrestling."

[8.0] "The matches were all good, promos were a mixed bag. Show opened strong with Joe and Hangman having a great segment, followed by a crispy Hangman taking on Strong. The CC matches were a fun and varied in tone, with Jay Lethal getting demolished in minutes (lol) and Andrade going over big Brodie. Main event was very good with a bit of a screwy ending that I assume will play into something later. Ladies match was short and made its point. But for fuck's sake, get Jericho away from Omega. The segment was fine IMO up until Jericho completely bombed trying to name Starks and Bill. Ricky tried to get it back on track and serious, but it was open mic night for the Golden Jets, bitch. Ending angle with Hangman was nice. Seems like Tony is listening to that much at least and making Hangman a featured presence."

[8.0] "Jericho needs an extended break ffs. That segment went full on Hindenberg with his awful list of names. Rest of the episode was great, if predictable. Lethal and Briscoe eat pins once again. Moxley wins over Swerve in a great main event (kissy kissy). Probably serves some purpose further on, was a bit of a downer though to see Swerve lose there. Toni Storm was funny on commentary for the women. Hangman was the highlight of the show, first with Joe and Strong, and then with the devil angle to wrap up the episode. AEW feels very focused right now and a joy to watch. Focusing on a core group of stars again in 2024 would do wonders to restore love for the product, and nostalgia acts whining like the Hardys can shove off."

[8.0] "Very solid episode. A good crowd throughout, despite one glaring dud segment. Great opener between Joe and Hangman. Nice match with Strong where Hangman looked very focused and killer. All the CC matches were good, if perhaps not pleasing in outcome. Having designated pin eaters with no genuine upsets yet is not ideal, despite attempting to force a bit of story to it. A pleasure seeing Riho back. Uptick in my interest about the devil, which has been waning. Very little comic stupidity dragging down the show now that Roddy has ditched the chair and MJF was absent for a night. WTF was that Golden Jets segment though. It wasn't catastrophic, but it was definitely awful."

[8.0] "AEW seems to be heavily decreasing the amount of stupid shit with each coming week, which is great to see. This was almost all wrestling, with some story sprinkled in at the beginning and end of the show. The only poor segment was the cringeworthy Jericho/Omega promo that made them look terrible in comparison to Starks, who actually tried to sell his team and the match in the face of WWE references and playground-tier insults. Gross segment that went on way too long. The Devil hyjinx this episode was slightly more palletable than usual, but there needs to be some type of reveal sooner or later. The drip-feeding in this story makes it more annoying than exciting, and it seems like we're exactly where we were at the start of it. The inevitable disappointment that will come from the Devil's reveal looms over everything else, and the longer it goes, the more I sour on it. The C2 has been great so far from a ringwork perspective, but the finishes leave something to be desired in the Dynamite Block. It's felt very telegraphed with few upsets. Mox getting one over on Swerve was a genuine surprise, and a good move since it doesn't rule out Swerve from landing a tie with White after next week and potentially still winning the block. Mox winning against Swerve in an unceremonious fashion here is probably just setting up a (hardcore? ) match down the line and increasing Swerve's stock. There is no way Mox is winning the block. None. That type of points-based conflict is more of what I expected going into this, so it's nice to see tension rise from a surprise finish. The other matches were all pretty good, though nothing exceptional. Solid episode, and I'm proud of AEW for seemingly addressing criticism week to week recently. The past 3 weeks have been a major improvement."

[9.0] "A solid continental classic episode as usual from the beginning of this tournament Samoa Joe facing hangman with rodrick interrupting them was fun actually i am happy that hangman is returning to the main event scene also that finishing scene was good that the devil has some stuff to do with hangman The blue league keeps firing with this match between andrady and broody . I rlly like the building of andrady that there is really change with CJ I hope at the end of the matches he and Bryan get to the semifinals And in the gold league rush rlly was in rage after his loss against mox Mark briscoe continue to hit bangers And the main event rlly delivered also reasonable result as there maybe a rematch between mox and swerve where we need swerve to win clean"
