[7.0] "This tournament has given us another great show in Korakuen Hall and is on track to be my favorite NJPW tour of 2023. None of the eight matches on this card were bad, even the House of Torture that I normally dread was a lot of fun here. This early in the tournament you cannot really predict how the points will play out, which make the matches a bit more exciting."

[6.0] "The most mid of events that I forced my bored self to sit thru. Really the rating should be a lot lower but I'm going with the median match rating for the event rating. The main event was match of the night and kanemaru and sho vs douki and TAKA might be the worst tournament match yet. Just a boring hard To sit thru show."

[9.0] "Boltin Oleg, Ren Narita & Shota Umino vs Callum Newman, Great O-Khan & HENARE: Decent opener, Boltin Oleg took it to the Great O-Khan to start the match, Umino got some more momentum heading into Power Struggle and the others involved did their respective parts as well [***]. Hiromu Takahashi & Yota Tsuji vs Gedo & Taiji Ishimori: Good preview tag for Hiromu vs Ishimori, with some good in ring work from both as well as Gedo and Yota Tsuji [***]. Hiroshi Tanahashi, Oskar Leube & Tomohiro Ishii vs SANADA, Taichi & Yuya Uemura: Best non tournament match on the card, Oskar Leube continues to impress against the more experienced wrestlers and Yuya Uemura picked up another win for J5G against Leube, Tanahashi and Ishii looked great [***1/2]. Kosei Fujita & Robbie Eagles vs Ryusuke Taguchi & The DKC: Decent match, Kosei Fujita keeps improving and he and Robbie Eagles work well together like they did here even in defeat, the end sequence with Kosei Fujita and Ryusuke Taguchi trying to pin each other in the end Taguchi got the better of the two [***1/4]. Francesco Akira & TJP vs MUSASHI & YOH: Hell of a tag match within the league this year, TJP solid his neck like hell, Francesco Akira tried his best for his team but MUSASHI and YOH was just that much better especially with the blind tags [****]. DOUKI & TAKA Michinoku vs SHO & Yoshinobu Kanemaru: While there were some HOT typical shenanigans, this was the better of the tournament matches so far, for the most part there were some good wrestling which for a HOT match surprised me [***]. Kevin Knight & KUSHIDA vs Clark Connors & Drilla Moloney: My favourite match in this tournament so far for Kevin Knight & KUSHIDA, a great match with a surprising ending when KUSHIDA pinned Drilla Moloney [****]. El Desperado & Master Wato vs BUSHI & Titan: This match is what the Super Junior Tag League is about, this match was awesome and kept me watching right until the very end, I was on the edge of my seat towards the end, a great match to be in the main event, MOTN in my opinion [****3/4]"

[8.0] "Solid card all the way through with the tournament matches. I don't think any of those matches were below what I'd call good, with several being very good. Hopefully this means that the tag league is hitting its stride and we'll be getting more solid shows of wrestling coming up."

[8.0] "Easily the best show of the tournament so far, with all five of the tournament matches being good to great. Taguchi and DKC versus TMDK was a fun time with Taguchi actually wrestling instead of doing nonsense, which was a nice change. YOH and Musashi beat Catch 2/2 in another great match which carried on Catch 2/2's current story with the BC War Dogs. DOUKI and Taka Versus The House of Torture was surprisingly a really good wrestling match whenever Kanemaru was in, and Taka put on an insane peformance for his current position. The usual nonsense was saved for the end of the match, which was easily the worst aspect. The penultimate match was a great sprint between the War Dogs and Jet Setters, which is my favorite match of the tournament so far. The main event was amazing as well, rounding off a really solid card."

[7.0] "The undercard was boring as hell but luckly the tournament matches weren't, there is some strange booking decisions yes but I can accept this. The main - event was awesome and it's such a pity it wasn't anything more than "only" seventeen minute. ***1/2"
