[9.0] "A great DDT show, that is to say a show that had the highest highs and some strange, janky lows. The semi and main were both great in very different ways: Takeshita and MAO delivered a great, innovative, fast-paced match, while Saki and Chris brought great emotion and suspense to Saki's first and last KO-D title challenge. Outside of those two matches, the AJPW match and the Hino farewell were both great fun, and the even the Pheromones match had a twist on it that made it fun. The only problem is the Cardona Universal match and reign, but otherwise great fun up and down the card."

"I was drawn to this event because of Maki Ito and wanting to get a feel for Japanese pro wrestling. The pre-show tag team match immediately impressed with the level of skill this early on, and then the main show kicked off and added entertainment to the mix to varying degrees as it went on. Burning vs Omega was a particularly awesome tag team match, while the Pheromones match showed cheeky Japanese comedy stylings work inside the ring. Maki's match was one of the least compelling despite a decent clash of gimmicks. In terms of singles matches, Konosuke Takeshita vs MAO overshadowed the main event for me. Overall I was impressed by the variety and quality of the matches and it has convinced me to watch more."

[9.0] "Takeshita cuts a virtually flawless English promo on one of the GOATs in Chris Jericho after putting on the best in-ring match of the show with MAO, DDT's secret weapon ... and it's still only the second best thing on the show. The main event is up there for DDT match of the year, and dramatic match of the year. Chris treats Akai like and other wrestler and absolutely fucks her up on the outside, something from which she has to recover for the rest of the match. They do some crazy moves, but more than anything, Saki sells the drama with her expressive eyes like no other. An excellent main event on a show that was already very fun. DDT has been in a slump all year, but since Peter Pan, the ship has been righted, and this was the funnest top-to-bottom DDT card in a while."

[8.0] "Very good show, everyone should watch main event, this was awesome and made me cry, the match for the Universal title is my favourite Matt's match of all time, Ito-chan is genius of comedy and bad ass stuff, Konosuke-Mao was pretty good and fast but the thing after the match just blow me up: Chris Jericho in DDT! What the hell is happening? The tag matches were not bad, Yuji's speech was soulful and touched me, rookies match was good. I think DDT should now catch more and more especially when NOAH now is in a bas shape."

[8.0] "I could really do without the Japanese guy on English commentary who only shills. There were some weak matches on this card like the six man tag and eight man tag. The rest was excellent with some fun surprises. The main event was really good. I'm glad Akki pointed out how most of the DDT rookies are just straight wresters. This show could have really used a creative match to break things up like how the lego deathmatches used to do. Still a really good show and worth your time."

"Excellent show overall, despite a handful of weaker moments. Most of the undercard matches were good, but a bit forgettable in places. The three-way tag team match had some great comedic moments from Honda and Hirata. The chop exchange between Higuchi and Hino in the eight man tag team match was a thing of beauty. Takeshita vs. Mao was an absolutely superb, brutal sprint, equally full of both Takeshita's hard-hitting intensity and Mao's technical inventiveness. The main event was another breathtaking entry in Brookes's title run, full of emotion and spectacular moments. The only real let down of the show was Matt Cardona vs Maki Itoh for the Universal Title. Cardona's absolutely braindead, foreign devil heel act, and totally forgettable in-ring work made for an abysmal slog of a match which seemed to drag on for hours. A couple of impressive moves and some typically charming crowd work from Itoh was not enough to save this miserably tedious match."
