[8.0] "A solid show that dragged a bit. The undercard matches were fine for what they were but NOAH really needs to stop cramming everything onto one long show. Im glad GLG won but Timothy Thatcher and Saxon Huxley are not a good team. Thatcher is a great technical wrestler who should be thriving in REAL but Saxon is terrible and makes Thatcher seem worse. I wanted to give Huxley the benefit of the doubt because I know he has a lot of detractors but its too noticeable. Anthony Greene and Jack Morris are both good wrestlers that are earning their spot but they dont feel like a cohesive team sadly. I wouldve rather seen Morris go for singles gold while Greene got a different partner in a new GLG member (maybe Stallion Rogers or someone else). The GHC Jr Heavyweight Tag Title match was a ton of fun and Im glad that Dragon Bane and Alpha Wolf won (even if one of those dudes looks way too big to be a Jr Heavyweight). All four guys stepped up though and made sure they had the MOTN. El Hijo del Dr Wagner Jr vs Psycho Clown was good and Im happy Wagner Jr retrained. His N-1 run was awesome but I wish they didnt make it awkward by making him come across like a heel in the build since he gained a ton of momentum heading out of the tournament. At least he got a meaningful defense! Hes had only 3 in 200+ days and I assumed he wouldve defended against Anoai too after losing to him but instead theyre bros. HAYATAs reign is so subpar and its a shame because I like the guy. I also like Daga but I dont think anyone was clamoring for a title match between the two. I hope this a nice push for Daga though. Its a shame Nakajima is leaving NOAH but I get it. His storylines never get behind second gear and thats sort of the case for everyone in NOAH. Manabu Soya getting his own faction is great as he should be pushed to the main event (with Nakajima leaving, its definitely needed). Lee vs Shiozaki was good but I wish they didnt tease Hideki Suzuki gunning for Lee because it made the outcome of the match far more predictable. Lee seems destined to drop the title to KENOH and I wouldnt be shocked if thats NOAHs The New Year main event."
[7.0] "This is a 3-match show with the highlights being the GHC Jr. Tag match and the GHC Jr. match, the main event is a must-watch. The rest of matches are inconsequential, boring, or plain disappointing. If you really want to go deep watch the Kenoh Anoa'i vs. Nakajima Brooks tag too. The rest you can skip and watch what happened storyline-wise from NOAH's youtube channel."
[7.0] "Although, like most major NOAH shows, this was too long, there was both fun and consequential stuff here. I thought both tag title matches were really good, some actual developments happened on the undercard, and Jake winning here but losing the title next month to Kenoh seems like the right play. If NOAH can get out of their own way, they can maybe start 2024 off strong. Considering a morning show in DDT beat them in attendance today though, we'll see."
[6.0] "This show had a bunch of very good matches, but as a whole still felt empty and quickly forgettable. Wolf/Bane vs. Alejandro/Mack and Shiozaki/Lee were my two favorite matches and EHDDWagnerJr/Psycho also was worth my time - those three matches succeeded in making me interested what's gonna happen in the future."
[8.0] "This could have been a better show if NOAH could sort out their undercard. At big shows like this it feels too much like they try to get everyone on the card in awkward six man tags. You can skip all the matches until the tag team titles and have a really tight show to watch. My favourites were the junior tag title, national and heavyweight title matches. The junior tag titles were a little bit of a spot fest but still really good. The national title match was really good. I hope Psycho Clown hangs around NOAH. The main event was excellent. This was Jake Lee's best showing as champ."
